Chapter 78

"Bro! Where have you been?" Wayne asked the moment he entered the office.
"Bro!... Are you alright?" He asked again since the black wolves leader is playing on deaf ears and refused to answer.
' I've messed up... why do I even think of such a silly thing in her office... how do I gain my trust now...Damn... I don't believe I'm screwed' Thoughts start running down the black wolf's leader's head as he walks straight to his chair without noticing that Wayne was talking to him.
"What's wrong," Wayne asked but yet he still didn't reply...
' what should I do now? Should I tell them? Damn... how'll I even cope with the yelling and scolding from them... Damn... I better keep this to myself...but I have to make sure she accepts my apology' it was like his head was filled with misconceptions and thinking... He sat at his chair while staring at Wayne but it seems he was seeing a different person apart from Wayne.
"Hey!" Wayne walks to him while snatching the table real hard, making him get shocked.
"What's wrong with you!" He yelled at him... " Can't you see I'm going through a lot?" he yelled again while staring at Wayne in the eyes.
"Can't you see I've been talking to you?" Wayne asked as he became quiet with a shocked face.
"Me? You have been talking to me? Sorry... I didn't know" He replied with a change of voice after being considered guilty for yelling at him.
"Hmm..." Sight... " What's wrong with you... where have you been?" Wayne asked, sitting at the table beside him.
"Don't worry about it... it's my problem and not yours" He replied while taking his seat slowly.
"We came out of prison together so why must you say it's not my problem... it's now... we are together now..." Wayne touches him on his shoulder but he doesn't respond to him.
"Or... is it because of what I told the secretary that why you are still angry... c'mon... wait... did you go to see the secretary?" Wayne flashed back and remembered that he left the office and came back with a frown so it must have been the secretary.
"Huh!" The black wolf's leader stammered, raising his head at Wayne.
"Did she say something bad to you?" Wayne provoked while trying to leave but as he was about to get up... the black wolf's leader held his hand so he sat back quietly.
"It's not that I can't tell you but for the main time... can you just forget about this... please" He spoke with a sincere voice while still holding my hands.
"Okay... no problem... I called Dean and he said he won't be coming today... And... he also says that we should lock the office and take some rest..." Wayne concluded while walking toward the window where he rolled down the curtains quietly.
"They must have still been enjoying themselves" The black wolves stood up... " Aigo..." He stretches his body while joining Wayne in putting the office in order.
As we were leaving the office after the clean-up... we walked through the passage and Mrs. Jane came out of her office...
"Hi..." Wayne waves at her but she pretends not to see him.
"Please...." She interrupted him before she could complete his statement.
"I said don't come anywhere close to me...Don't touch me" She yelled, hitting his hand hard.
The black wolves leader and Wayne continue going after being embarrassed by the secretary.
"What happened back there? Did you do something to her..." Wayne asked while we walked past the gate and tried to take a taxi.
"Don't want to talk about it and please don't ask me again...please" He replied like someone who's fed up with life... A cab even stopped right in front of him but he didn't notice until Wayne touched him.

"Please... join me..." Jeffrey dragged Dean as they walked straight to his vehicle while he opened the boots.
"Thanks to you... I haven't had this kind of fun once in my life... "They both brought some boxes and equipment out of the vehicle.
"Why thank me... in life, we have to be happy... despite what we have encountered... I'll see those around me smile even if it's taking me to the deepest ocean... I'll do it..." I kept smiling as we placed the foodstuff right in front of the ladies.
We head back straight to the vehicle while bringing out some equipment to make a small hunt where we can rest for the night...
I and Dean makes the hunt while the ladies light up the fire while preparing to make dinner.
After some short while, we join the ladies after making two hunts, we look inside and make sure it'll be comfortable for a couple in it.
"Hi... You told me you have somewhere to go tomorrow... Can I know where the place is... I'd like to join... I know you still dislike me... because I asked you to work with me but you refuse... Anyway, can I join you tomorrow... I love to be around you now.?" Dean requested as we were about to leave the hunt but we stopped.
"No! I don't think that's necessary... tomorrow is a big day for me and I don't want to drag you into it... and besides working with you! I didn't refuse but I had to clear my head... I need things to work out in place for me" I turned to him while placing my hands on his shoulders and consoling him.
"Are you planning a wedding now without me?" Dean questions staring at his damn eyes.
"I'll tell you when the time of the wedding is suitable and right now... I just need to be alone and that's the reason I'm out today... because I need to have fun and after today, everything should go back as it was before" Still trying to make him relax as I removed my hands from him.
"I want to propose to Jennifer tomorrow?" Dean commented while I was about to head to the girls but my head sparkled while hearing such a statement from him.
