Jeffrey POV
Hmm... now that I have accomplished my plan for this young man... what's my next fate... Anyway... I have done them badly before so I have to pay them back...
At least I still have some balance with me from the kidnapping case...
'Damn. my body sticks,' I whispered to myself.
Since I came out from prison, that young man couldn't even wash my body and he needed my help... we have been driving around the country with our sticky bodies... anyway, glad I didn't meet any lady on the way.
Wait... but look at the promises I gave dean mum! Will I be able to keep it? C'mon think of it... she's cruel... how could she even do that to my dad and yet, still smiling as if nothing is wrong.
I'm confused... What if my dad didn't know her secret, that means Dean will be about to go bankrupt... wow! Some mothers are wicked in the heart.
Her son! Who the hell does that?
I don't get it... or is there something going on in the family?
I need to find out... but...
Why do I even have to find out when it has nothing to do with me.
I'm not even from their family and if I get close to Jennifer again to know what's going on... another crisis may arise.
I'm not interfering.
Wait a minute... after all of these are over, I hope I had the opportunity to thank Dean for releasing me...
Think of it... if I were to have been in prison, I wouldn't be able to see the street, full of children playing and at the same time smiling.
Glad he came to my rescue and glad I gave him the condition to release me... but...
my friends... What should I do with them now?
Everything is settled and they are out of prison.
What's our next step? I can't leave both of them behind.
We all have to accomplish a successful life together and I pray we succeed but...
Damn... I'm so tired of thinking and exhausted...
What's all this... I can't even think straight anymore and all I know is carrying people not even minding my current state.
Hmm... I know what to do... the balance from the hospital bill, I'll use it to open a business... yeah.. this will benefit us all...
I'm still curious... this family... something is going on... I can tell... I know someday I'll find out but I don't want to go digging.
Anyway... let's just forget about all of these... I'm even tired of my thoughts.
"Hey, Dean... I'm done... can we move to the next plan?" I came out of the house and I saw all of them sitting by the side of the gatehouse.
"You took so long... so what's the next plan?" Dean asked as he stood up from the bench while facing the floor.
"What's going on... Please my son... talk to me" she rushed to me while staring at me as if she was about to cry.
"Mum! Don't worry... when all of these are sorted out... I'll come to you and explain but for now! I can't say anything but I'm safe... don't be scared" I smile at her as I use my hands to rub her cheek.
"Dean" I called out and looked at him. " Let's go to the vehicle, we'll talk there" I headed outside the gate as Wayne and the black wolves leader followed me.
"How was the meeting with my mum? Any progress" he asked immediately as I entered the vehicle.
"Oops! I can see you are in a hurry... why don't you wait for the others to enter then we discussed it" I commented watching as Wayne and the black wolves leader entered the vehicle.
"Sorry" His voice weakened and he smiled.
"I think there is hope... Dean! I called his name as I continued to stare at him and he was also staring at me.
"I can't give you any details yet until I find a solution... like I said... there is hope and I'll help you find the money" I replied with a low tune while starting the engine of the vehicle.
"Damn!" he inhales.
"Are you scared or what? I told you I'll help you so don't worry" I turned to him and smiled while driving out.
The vehicle was still quiet as everyone was busy thinking of how to repay the debt until Dean broke the silence.
"What if where we are going... hope failed... does that mean I'll have to go back to square one... damn" He stared at me while complaining... it's as if... he has been thinking about it for the last minute.
"Don't worry... I'm still here" I replied as I turned to the compound of my dad.
"Please wait for me here and have faith in me... things will work out fine and we'll pay the debt" I smiled while dropping the car key with him.
"I'll be back" I whispered again as I came down from the car.
I walked close to the house and to my greatest surprise, the door wasn't locked so I opened it slowly.
I entered and was expecting a voice but didn't hear anything until I heard straight to the sitting room and found out that my dad is sleeping.
"Wake up" he didn't even allow me to tap him before he woke up...
"You back... " He replied slowly.
"Please, where is the safe... I need to collect the cash... I'm exhausted today" I asked as he sat comfortably in the chair while staring at me.
"What's the password to the safe," He asked, still with sleepy eyes.
"I can't tell you the password... I need to open it myself and collect the cash I need" I replied as he kept shaking his head, trying to create a scene.
"I'm the only one that knows where the safe is... so the password..." He asked me to stretch my hands while I feel frustrated already and don't know what to do.
