Chapter 76
"What..." Dean face changed immediately but didn't show it out because the girls were already close to them
"Why don't we play some games... Me and Sabrina while you and Jennifer" Jeffrey smiled as he turned to the girls but later on stared at Dean for a response.
"Hmm... That'll be nice but... I don't know how to play a game..." Dean murmured while Jennifer drew herself closer to him and at the same time rested her head on his shoulder.
"Why don't we play horse races... Yeah... both of us will make a good team!" It was the first time Jennifer was bringing up a conversation... I'm sure my woman made her day.
"Horse race... Oops... I'm scared of horses..." A bomb exploded on Dean's head after hearing the word horse.
"Oh... he's a homeboy... " We all laugh at him.
"Fine... let's do this..." He commented with boldness and he took the lead toward the place...
"Babe! I'm not good at horses..." I whisper to Sabrina and with the look she gave me... it seems we are in the same shoe.
"What's wrong!" I whispered to her in shock but she kept on smiling.
"I'm not good too" We both laughed hard thinking it was all a joke, even Dean and Sabrina had to turn their backs and look at us.
"Are you serious?" I stopped laughing and asked with a serious face.
"Yes...." She nodded her head in reply.
"Damn" I felt frustrated after making such a mouth that Dean is trash and it turns out that we are trash.
We all approached the equestrian and we left them to discuss the money paid, regarding the short time.
"Please I can't ride it... and I can't lose to them" I whisper to the young man making sure that no one could understand us.
" I'll set everything for you... don't worry..." The equestrian made my day as u rushed to Sabrina while smiling.
"We'll win them... don't worry" I replied to her in confidence and watched as the man set Dean and his girl on the house.
Dean looks at us with confidence and grief... it was as if we were in a tournament.
After setting them on the horse, he brings out our white horse while raising my lady as she places her leg properly before I enter...
He controlled the house as he carried us to where Dean was.
A little boy was holding a whistle and standing far with a flag in his hand.
"Sir...I'm coming!" The equestrian yelled while walking toward the direction of the call.
"What?" my inner mind exploded as I can't believe he left me... someone, who gave me hope.
"Damn... Babe... we are screwed" I whisper to my lady before the little boy blew the whistle.
"Ahhh..." We kept on screaming as I hit the horse so loud on his buttons... He ran so fast that I could feel my body but all I could hear was the wind whispering to me.
Shortly the horse slows down... I was happy we were leading but my eyes were dropping water already...
Dean and his lady approach us and I don't know how to make this horse speed up again
I hit the horse again but he didn't move...
Dean and his lady have overcome us...
I hit the horse so hard with the rope tied along with his mouth but he still refused to move.
"We are screwed" I feel discouraged while murmuring since the horse refused to move...
"My love... please let's win this race... I'll visit you one more time." Sabrina kept on rubbing his face and the next thing, the horse took off.
"Did he just understand what she said?" I kept asking myself while we were on speed in silence.
I kept on hitting his buttons because Dean was far from
us and the finish line was close...
"Let's do this" I was still hitting him hard and we approached them gradually.
I enjoyed riding on him because it was as if we were in a movie.
"Oops... We won! That was close..." I yelled as we passed the finish line... I even forgot that we have an opponent but I just shouted we won.
"It's a tie... didn't you see it... We were leading... there is no way you can overtake us just like that... it's a tie or we win" Dean provoked as he yelled at me causing an argument on the winner.
Shortly the equestrian approaches us with his horse as he helps us in getting down.
"We won... I don't care if you were leading but didn't you see our speed" I attack him again since nobody wants to agree to be the loser...
Jennifer and Sabrina were just smiling at the argument until the equestrian interrupted us.
"Follow me" We followed him into a small office nearby and he kept on playing the CCTV slowly.
"Can't you see we won" I yelled out and jumped up with joy?
"It's a tie..." The equestrian commented after zooming everywhere.
It even caused an argument but he showed me proof of a tie and my mouth became shut.
"Let's have something to eat" I changed the topic immediately, as I proved to them that I wasn't angry.
"How did you ride that horse... you are awesome" Dean walks to me while whispering in my ear.
"It was my first time... I don't know how" I whisper back with boldness...
"What!!!" it's as if I shocked him or something, he yelled out loud making me run away from him.
As we approach the Chinese restaurant... We all sat at the table where we watched how the Chinese man fried his pork meat... it was indeed fun and realistic for us...before he served us.
"He's awesome but I'm better than him" Dean praised himself...
"You don't even know the road to the way to the kitchen..." Jennifer opposed him immediately, making all of us laugh at Dean.
"After this place... we'll be spending the night somewhere elsewhere..." Dean responded as we kept shut in silence.
"Where?" Jennifer became scared after hearing a lot of stories about sleeping outside... she asked in curiosity and anxiety.
