Chapter 65

"That sounds more like a threat..." She smiled... " I can't do anything to help you... my son... will fix his problem himself" She continues as they both stare at each other.
"Sometimes, I wonder why a mother will have the money but decide not to help his son... maybe she just wants the money all for herself and maybe any man that'll come her way" I draw my face closer as I whisper to her.
"What's wrong with you? you suck... You just batch into my house and tell everyone to leave so that you can insult me the way you like... Are you insane? She yelled and stood up from the chair out of anger... " Now leave my house! I have no business with you" She pointed at the door telling me to leave.
"Awww... That's so rude... why don't you sit... the conversation hasn't started..." I smiled at her, making her angrier but she kept staring at me.
"Please leave my house... I don't want to shout anymore. just do as I say" She kept pointing her finger at the door and I stood up quietly.
"The moment I leave this place... I'll tell your son about the kidnapping and fraud case you are involved with my dad... He has decided to hand himself over, so it's left for you to know if you'll spend the rest of your life in jail..." As I stood up... I went straight to her ear and whispered to her and I felt her body shivering before I even concluded the statement.
"What's...where did you hear that story from! " She asked, feeling confused as she held my hands tightly as I was about to leave the house.
"I told you to sit... the conversation has not yet started..." I smiled back at her after putting a threat to her life.
"I'm...so...sorry..." She stammered as her hands shook while holding me tight...I quickly removed her hands from me and dragged her to the chair.
"What's happening... I heard some shout in here... is everything alright" Dean opened the door and asked but unfortunately, Jeffrey returned his reply with a smile while nodding his head while his mum couldn't even move her head.
"I told you we have a lot to discuss... Do you see the reason I have to drive them out... I still care about you... so..." I continued to smile immediately as the dean shut the door.
"What do you want," She asked directly.
"You're so straightforward... wow!... it's nice... but I'm not doing this for money..." I replied as she interrupted me before completing my sentence.
"Then why do you want to ruin my family," She asked while I stood up on the shelf and brought out a red wine with two glasses on the table.
"Is there no ice here?" I asked and she shook her head in reply.
"Damn! Okay... back to business... I'm not here to ruin your family... wait a minute... you even ruined mine and you want yours to be fine...Anyway... I'm not that type of person" we both smiled and I turned the wine on the glass while giving her one of the glasses to drink.
"So why are you doing all of this?" She asked, staring at me with the glass in her hands.
"Hmm," I smiled... "Come to think of it... a mother has the money to rescue her son from his bondage but refuses to give it to her son! how will he feel if I tell him that you have the cash?" I continue to glance at her with my confidentiality while drinking the wine.
"It's... it's... for... something" She replied and at the same time stammered.
"Investment... right? I know all of these... Do you know that you have been flirting with my father and broke into my home... I know everything... and I still keep my mouth shut so... if you want what's best for you, Do as I say" I commented while sipping the drink like the boss in the house.
"I can see... you are poor but you have something upstairs..." She smiled still with confidence written on her face.
"Hmm... you are not scared anymore... I think this red wine is giving you some inspiration... but... that's none of my business... I'll give you three options and if you do that... my mouth will be sealed for the rest of my life" I continued to shine my teeth on her while I slowly put my hands into my pocket and brought out the piece of paper.
"So do you think I'll do any of that?" She asked confidentially while I continued to smile.
"It's not that I'm making a request... I'm the one in charge now... Do you see this paper over here... just take a look, if you are thinking of planning something stupid... you are free because I have multiple copies of these" I stretch the piece of paper to her as she continues to glance at it without saying anything.
"Damn! What should I do... I don't have much money" She replied out of frustration after reading the content of the paper.
"Hmm," I glowed. " You don't have to give me the money... as I said... you have 3 requests and the first one is the password to the safe in my dad's room... " She interrupts me and places her hand on her head while staring at the floor.
"How...did...you..." I interrupt her and smile.
"I told you... my dad is willing to be handcuffed and the question is... are you willing to join him if you didn't grant my request" I brought out a pen and handed it over to her.
"Damn... what's all this...Tired" She feels frustrated as she sluggishly collects the pen from me.
"It's the first request... I'll let you know when I have the second one... Don't worry... your secret's safe with you... I need to help your son out" I collected the pen and paper from her and dipped it inside my pocket.
I stood up after the conversation and tried walking out but she held my hands.
"Why are you helping my son?" She looked at me with covered tears filled in her eyes.
"Don't worry... when the time is right... you'll know" I smiled and walked out of the room with boldness.
