"Pardon... can I ask you a question also... Are you referring to anyone specifically" Wayne slowly dropped the food as he covered it again...
"Why are you asking me a question... When... you haven't answered mine... One at a time... man..." She winks at him while holding her arm.
"Fine... you got me but the love issue is this... people feel less concerned and they enjoy being with a partner that they'll forever be happy... If that friend of yours wishes to extend that friendship... I mean sex... things might not end well for both of them and they may see themselves as an enemy in the future... So what do you advise... Continue to live your life with your friends... Don't tell him you had a feeling for him... until he asks For... he'll ask... but it's not yet time..." Wayne folds his hands while he smiled because he just thought he threw some motivation on the secretary.
"So... Are you talking to anyone specifically... I know I'm not in a position to ask but I might be of help..." Wayne kept staring at her while he drank a glass of water.
"Hmm..." She became silent... " No... nevermind... maybe some other time... I'll have to tell you" She commented and the moment both of their eyes glided at each other... Mrs. Jane looks away within a second.
"I won't force you... to... can we finish our food now... Dean and gold must have been waiting for me..." He opened the stainless again as he continued to eat while she was staring at him.
"You can join them...I'll have to stay here for a while... until my boss calls me back... I'm sorry! " She looks up at the roof, thinking of what to do.
"oops... I almost forgot about that... I'll try my best... but there is only one way I can help you and that is if we are talking together and you walk in... if I'm to just meet him... he will know that you reported him to me... so it's better we just pretend that I don't know and I'll help you" Wayne continues to eat as he keeps raising his head while staring at her with a wink of an eye.
"You don't have to do anything and don't worry... I'll keep it this way... Wait... I asked my boss about Jeffrey but he didn't answer me... is he alright?" The lady asked the moment Wayne finished eating his food.
"Jeffrey... Jeffrey... Aigo!" He stretches his body and collects a toothpick.
"Jeffrey is fine but currently... he's unavailable... he said he'll be back anytime soon but he said he's busy... I like Jeffrey... back when we are in prison... he was one man that could change the dream of everybody..." Wayne keeps smiling with the toothpick on his teeth
"Prison! You were also in prison... damn... how did it affect you... I thought it was only Jeffrey..."She acted panicking because Wayne didn't seem like a man who had been in prison.
"Yeah! It's a long story though... but I and Jeffrey didn't know each other from prison though... he was my senior in secondary school and we met in prison... back then, I used to be feared by everyone in the cell but Jeffrey was able to calm me down... and now... that urge to do something terrible is no longer with me...I think Jeffrey has a good heart with the few days that I've stayed with him" He stood up and was about leaving but the secretary was about to say something so he pause.
"You know... I haven't known him for much and I know he and my boss had a serious problem... back there, so I wonder why the boss is with him now..." she acted curiously while Wayne was busy dressing up before he left.
"They had a deal in the prison and that's why me and my friend came out... Jeffrey took us along" He dressed his tie properly while drawing himself close to the secretary.
"Are you for real... three of you..." She was shocked and her head became filled with a load of words... "Umm," Wayne nodded his head in reply.
"I should be going now... please try your best to do as I said... regarding my friend... please..." Wayne bent down as he whispered to her ears before he left.
"Damn... he's too dumb to the thought of it" She talks to herself as Wayne leaves the restaurant.
' What should I do now... begged the CEO... I can't lose this job... it's all I have now...Damn... I must meet him... anyway... I should finish my food... ' She continues to murmur to herself while staring at her food but suddenly, she picks up the fork and spoon as she starts to eat.
"Where have you been? Man!" Dean questioned Wayne the minutes he entered the office...
"Been? '' was that question meant to be answered... I don't get it... "Wayne walks into the office in confusion as the dean questions him
" Yeah! Me and Gold have been here for more than an hour now but we didn't see you... you know you left the office open before you leave" Dean commented again as Gold stared at him but he didn't say a word.
"Open? I saw Gold coming this way... so I had to leave it open for him... please... I'm not a kid that I'll have to tell you anywhere I want to go, okay..." Wayne provoked but he tried hard to control his emotion.
"Did you go to see that woman?" Dean asked without even a sense of humor.
"Dammit... Are you insane... What a woman... please mind the way you talk to me... Dammit... I'm out" Wayne yelled out loudly and was about to leave the office but unfortunately, a knock arose on the door.
"Come in" Dean shouted and it was the secretary.
Wayne couldn't hold himself any longer... he headed back to his chair and sat...
The secretary has seen that Wayne isn't on good terms because Wayne refused to look him in the eyes.
"Yeah! I'm here... what do you want." Dean questions the secretary but she was shaken because the only person who got her back here is down.
"Sir... sir... I need... my... key... sir..." She stammered as her tongue shook continuously.
"Key? didn't I tell you to go home? Go and get some rest" Dean uses his finger and tries to drive her out.
"Key? Did you collect her office key from her?" This was the first time Gold had to say something since he found out that maybe because this office is becoming crowded, things are not running smoothly.
"Yeah! She was rude to me... and I had to do that..." Dean turned to him as he replied calmly.
"But collecting her office key? Is that the best you can do... c'mon on... you are smarter than this... " Gold felt disappointed and Mrs. Jane was shocked to see that someone he dislikes was defending her... instead of Wayne who just lost his mood.
"Are you insane? I did this for you... aren't you the one who wants to apologize to her... aren't you the one who said you are in love with her... I'm trying to bring back your love for her and now you are saying why did I do that... are you insane" Dean provoked as he stood up from his chair and yelled at him.
The secretary became shocked that her leg couldn't move but her eyes were only working.
"For me? Damn.. did I ask you for help? Damn... why are you this low... even if you want to help me... do you have to force her to love me... C'mon Dean... if you are not good at something, why force yourself into it... I'm tired of having this dirty argument with you... " Gold stood up and yelled back at him...
Mrs. Jane became confused... because she thought Gold to be a hot-tempered person but she just realized that he's an amazing person.
"Please give her the key... and I won't bother you again. please..." The gold voice became so calm after yelling at the CEO of the company.
" I can't believe that the help I was trying to offer is not regarded as love but as hate... Anyway, go to your office..." Dean opened his drawer and threw the key on the secretary.
"Thank you, sir..." She bowls her head and runs out of the office.
The office became so cold as everyone was busy frowning at each other.
"Wayne... let's go home please..." Gold stood up as he ordered Wayne and immediately, Wayne stood up.
"Wait... where are you two heading to and why will you leave me just like this" Dean stopped them... Moreover, Dean still cares for them.
"We are not welcome here anyway... we are questioned for what we did and besides... you aren't coming home tonight so it's pointless being here with you today." Wayne opened his mouth after all the silence... During the quarrel, he refused to say a word but now he does.
"Please sit... You'll leave when I'm done with what I have to say" Dean stood up as he begged two of them.
They both look at each other and take their seats slowly.
"I'm sorry... I know I have treated you badly in one way or the other... but honestly... I want to know something from you... what did I do wrong?" Dean asked as Wayne and Gold looked at each other again.
"Oops... I thought you were apologizing and now, you are asking again... what did you do wrong... what kind of man are you, Dean!" Gold draws his chair closer to the table as he places two hands on it while whispering to him
"There is no point asking us... someday... you'll realize what you did wrong!" Wayne stared at him and Dean became speechless while he sat comfortably.
"You are rich... you have the money... you have the house... you have the company... you also have a wife... but we have nothing... Why won't we be treated like a slave...Don't feel sorry for us now that I've said such a word but the truth hurts... I guess that's the reason Jeffrey doesn't want to be around us because if he wants to... he could have been here and he's the only one who can talk to you" Wayne commented again as he continues to count the words with his finger that Dean is good
"Yeah! My friend said it all... Do you know where our story begins... No... But you were born with a golden spoon and you enjoy everything... Don't worry... we don't need your help... we just have to find out where we fit in" Gold concluded still staring at Dean but Dean couldn't utter a word
"I'm sorry for the way I treated you guys... my apologies" Dean exhales as he apologized sincerely.
"Yeah... You are forgiven anyway... but right now... we need to rest... Can we go? Boss!" Gold looked at Wayne before he made the statement and he was given the go-ahead with his head movement.
"You are..." Dean nodded his head gently. He was so speechless that he didn't know what to say but for them to let him go.
"Take care of your business... We'll come back some other time." Gold and Wayne stood up while heading out of the office
"Rude asshole," Wayne whispered as he followed Gold out of the office.
While they were leaving the company Mrs. Jane waited for them by the side of her office...
As she saw them coming in her direction, she rushed to them.
"Thank you!" She hugged Gold tightly and whispered to his ears...
Gold was so shocked at what was going on but he slowly placed his hands around her waist.
"I'm sorry" he whispers back to her.
Wayne smiled seeing the two couples having a warm conversation.
"Thank you Wayne but you didn't help me out there " She hit him and ran back to her office.
