Chapter 80

"Mum! What're you doing..." Jeffrey dialed her number and she picked up immediately without hesitation.
"No... I'm free... where have you been... I missed you" she yelled out in joy... it's like she was happy to hear my voice.
"Please I need a favor from you... please... just do as I say... I'll explain everything to you, don't worry... Go to Dean's house... call his mum and both of you should come to dad's house... immediately, there is trouble happening here... please hurry... " I ended the call immediately after asking for a request.
"Why...did...you...do this..." My dad stammered as he kept rubbing his head up and down
"I told you... if you want to fix things... now is the right time... rush and take a shower, I know my mum... she'll be here in less than five minutes" I kept staring at him and before I could complete my statement, he ran into the bathroom
"Son... what should I do... I don't know how to face them both?" He keeps talking while taking a shower...
"Don't call me son... until everything is fixed... and... besides... that question is left for you alone to answer" I stood up while going close to the bathroom to hear him.
Shortly, he came out of the bathroom with a bathtub around his waist.
"Hello..." A voice from behind the roses as we turned out Neck and it was indeed Dean's mum and mine.
"What's the problem... Jeffrey... I thought you said something is going on in here... what's that thing?" She asked curiously while walking into the room slowly.
"You are so fast... damn... how come?" Don't worry... take your seat... " I stretched my hand toward the chair.
"I was close to her house when you called so it was an easy task for me... what's. happening" She asked, staring at every corner of the house but didn't find anything while Dean's mum's head was just benth down.
"Thanks... So I guess you know why we are here" I stretch my hands on her while taking my seat.
"Honestly... I don't... you said... there was something urgent and you need both of us right now... but I'm here now and nothing seems urgent" She commented while still staring at me while my dad was behind me.
"Don't worry... I'll explain to you... soon... but... can u borrow you for a minute" I stood up while stretching my hand on Dean's mum and she followed me outside.
"Sorry... for the impromptu meeting but remember I told you that I need three favors from you and you have delivered one for me... here is the second favor" I whisper to her while making sure that no one was watching us.
"I...I..." She murmured as words couldn't come out of her mouth
"Don't worry... don't be scared... I just need my family to be back to normal..." I explained to her and tried to walk away but I remembered something and turned to her.
"Oops... I forgot something...your son! I know it's all you have and don't worry. I won't tell him anything... and as for your money... I won't touch any but I just want to ensure that things fall back in place for us!" I smiled at her as she raised her head while following me back to the house.
"Please come sit" I called to him as he sat beside me.
"Mum! I know you hate this man over here... I must confess... I also hate him" I placed my hand on his shoulder and continued to tap on it.
"Since after that day you brought me here... I came back and we have talked a few times...and he tried to persuade me to forgive him and I refused until things fell back in place..." I dropped my hands from his shoulder while staring at him to continue from where I stopped.
"Honestly... honestly honey...I'm...I'm... sorry... I don't know how to approach you and I don't know how to help myself... until my son showed me that I can make it happen... from... my heart... I'm deeply sorry... you don't have to forgive me... just make me your slave" He stammered at first but as words became pumping out, he knelt while trying to kiss her foot.
"Mum! I think he means it... this woman I ask you to bring... I explained everything to her and she told me... she'll beg for him on your behalf... but I don't know why she's silent... " I commented while pointing my hands at Dean's mum.
My mum couldn't face the shame as her mouth became heavy and her eyes turned red while she struggles to speak but nothing purp out.
"My dear... I've been thinking of telling you but your son told me to keep quiet... Honestly... you know I don't know how to beg a woman... but I told him to call me when he made up his mind... Your husband here... has truly made up his mind to be with you... the last conversation we had. He said... he loves the life he used to live but he doesn't know what came over him" Dean's mum placed her hands on her lap while consoling her as the years dropped out slowly.
"What... do...you..want... me to do..." still crying, she slowly placed her hands on her husband's shoulder and assisted him to get back on his feet.
"Mum! I don't know what I should do to him... what kind of punishment right now should be deserved or are you just forgiving him like that?" Jeffrey provokes seeing his mum help him as if she doesn't feel pain.
She assisted her husband as they were leaving the building.
"I'm sorry..." Her husband continues to beg, placing his head on her shoulder.
"It's... alright" She continued to tap his head... as they were leaving the compound.
"What's about the money..." Dean's mum stopped Jeffrey while he was trying to lock the building and he heard it and turned back in shock.
