Chapter 82

"Where is Jeffrey... why isn't he with you... did something happen to him... talk to us... he's my best friend....talk to us... I need to know..." Wayne's mood changes while seeing Dean walk into the hotel alone without Jeffrey.
"Where he's... I'm talking to you...Dean... did something happen? Give me an answer... please" Wayne kept telling but the dean didn't reply but walked into the bathroom...
"Can you see that Dean refused to answer... me... what is wrong with him... damn... we need to find Jeffrey now..." Wayne keeps yelling and he even went straight to Dean's bathroom while knocking at the door.
"Don't worry... he'll reply to us... just get ready... we are late for work... we need to accompany him..." The black wolf's leader advises while he knots his tie properly.
"Damn... what's wrong with all of you in this house... I love Jeffrey and now... I can't see him... I guess... he called Dean to join him... so what's wrong right now..." Wayne continues to murmur and at the same time dress up for work...
Dean suddenly came out of the bathroom and headed straight to the wardrobe and dressed up...
He turned to Wayne and smiled but didn't utter a word to him.
"Let's head out... we're late... for work..." Dean stammered walking out of the room while waiting for them to come out.
They all head straight to his vehicle while waiting for Dean to come down...
"That's not the vehicle I'm using today..." Dean walks down as he pressed the car key and a different vehicle makes the alarm...
"Damn... Who is this vehicle... Dean... don't tell me you cash out in some fraudulent business because I know you were the one who asked Jeffrey for help... men! Look at this vehicle... damn classy... where did you get it from?" The black wolf's leader kept admiring the vehicles as he walked around them while rubbing them with his two hands.
"Let's go... we're late..." Dean scolded him and he jumped into the vehicle.
Wayne felt like being snubbed since Dean refused to give him a reply... he decided to stay on his own.
He entered the vehicle without uttering a word to anyone... his body becomes cold while he uses his eyes to look for Jeffrey around the surroundings.
"Wayne water with you... Why did your mood change all of a sudden" Dean started the engine while staring at Wayne through the mirror.
Wayne didn't give him a reply... Instead, he clicks on Instagram on his cell phone.
"He's mad because you didn't answer him when he asked about Jeffrey... Jeffrey has always been there for him right in prison and I also heard right from secondary school... so... he has the right to be mad when you are not replying into g to him..." The black wolves leader became the spokesman for Wayne since he doesn't want to answer.
"Oh! Jeffrey... But seriously... I don't know what's wrong with Jeffrey... but honestly... when we got to the office... we'll talk about it..." Dean kept driving and at the same time staring at Wayne.
"Is he kidnapped? is he Dean... talk to us... right now!" Dean became scared... it was as if Wayne wanted to swallow him with his shout.
"No... none of that..." He replied calmly...
"No problem... Let's get to the office and discuss what's wrong!" Wayne became relaxed in the vehicle as he continued to view pictures and videos on his Instagram page.
"But... what if we had an accident on the way... that means...you won't tell us what's wrong with Jeffrey right" The black wolf's leader smiled as he said such a speech while Wayne and Dean yelled at him.
"What's wrong with you"
"Why would you say such a word... "
Both of them yelled together and I'm sure that the black wolves didn't hear anything.
"No..no... no... I'm not praying for such... just kidding and want to pull your leg" He laughed out hitting Wayne on his shoulder.
"Your thoughts are too expensive... next time... don't think of that" Dean advised him as he entered the street of his company.
"C'mon... I changed my mood... look at Wayne... he was angry and now he smiled after I laughed that it was a joke... now... you are saying something funny... c'mon... I made it fun here... since nobody wanted to say something" I smiled and immediately, Dean parked his vehicle in his company.
Three of them walk like the owner of the company and whereas it's only for Dean...
While they were heading to the office... They saw the secretary coming in their direction...
The black wolves leader suddenly thought of what happened yesterday...
As the secretary reaches us...She greeted Dean with respect with her head benth down but as she was about to pass, she frowned at the black wolf's leader but he didn't say it because he was hiding from her.
"Damn! Glad... both of you didn't mess up my office... Let's clean up and find something to eat" Dean opened his office and clapped his hands together with joy.
They opened the curtains and window to make sure that they were able to see the world outside but the black wolf's leader was so cold that he only sat down without doing anything.
" Let's sit... Now... " Dean was about to say something but paused and pressed on his cellphone while calling the secretary.
"Please come to my office now..." Dean ends the call immediately.
Not up to a minute as he ended the call, the secretary walked in without knocking again.
"I told you to have manners... I know I'm not your boss but at least... you should knock... Or..." Wayne raised his voice at her but paused while pointing his finger at Dean.
"Please calm down...I'm the one that called her... she doesn't need to knock..." Dean tried to defend her while the staring was just staring at us.
"I was here when you called her... I don't know how you two run this company... I'm only advising that each time she wants to come in, she should at least knock...it's a sign of respect and not this rude attitude" Wayne continued to question her but Dean nodded his head at her trying to tell her to calm down.
"I'm sorry..." She bowls her head and apologizes.
"No...I'm not mad at you... honestly... from my heart... I'm not... I just want you to learn... You know... we learn every day" Wayne advised again and sat comfortably.
"I'm sorry sir..." She concluded again.
"Please... Get us something to eat... please as fast as possible... We're hungry... please... don't spend up to a minute outside... run... run..." Dean yells at her and she runs out of the office.
The black wolves were just sitting down without saying anything... I'm pretty sure he didn't know that we were talking to someone.
"Why did you tell her that way... calm down... please" Wayne scolded Dean for shouting at his secretary because of food.
"I thought you don't like her just now... why the sudden change," Dean yelled at him back.
"Like? When? I'm only correcting her... I didn't say I do not like her... learn to use your words properly... anyway... it was never my concern... Sorry" Wayne provoked again as he stood up but after realizing that it was not his business, he slowly sat down back.
"Please... where is Jeffrey" Wayne quickly changed the topic to avoid being insulted...
"What's wrong with your brother..." He asked Wayne, making him tap Dean.
"C'mon man... What's wrong with you... " Wayne tapped him but yet he didn't respond but just stared at him.
"What's wrong with these people... Dammit... I'm asking about Jeffrey... no reply... now... you are just staring at me... Is there a statue on my damn face... answer me for Christ's sake..." I yelled at both of them while the black wolves leader stood up and took a bottle of water beside Dean.
"I'm sorry... for not letting you put on myself... I've been thinking a lot lately... I need to tell you something urgent" The Black wolves leader drank the water as he sat comfortably while trying to express his feelings.
"Don't worry... I need to say my part first... while I was on a trip with Jeffrey... I must confess... Jeffrey's woman is damn pretty but I can't do anything but keep my eyes away from her... Although I love my woman, she's uneducated... " Dean fluttered as both of them kept staring at him.
"I'm not saying that I love his woman but I'm saying that... he chooses the right one... and everybody would love to be with that woman... She's beautiful, respectful, educated and even God-fearing... She has all the qualities a man needs to make a home... I pray things to work out for Jeffrey'' Dean kept smiling while complementing his speech... it was as if he envied Jeffrey but deep down, he was happy for him.
"Wait... don't tell me you are falling for his woman!" The black wolves leader commented and a knock on the door arose.
"Come in" Dean yelled and it was the secretary.
She handed the food to our table and was about to leave but Wayne stopped her.
"I'm sorry... if I used... harsh words on you... but it's nice you obey..." Wayne waved to her as she was about to leave and she smiled without uttering a word.
`` He's nice,'' she whispers to herself.
"Dean.... go ahead..." Wayne yelled at him.
"Oh! pardon... I don't envy him... I want him to be happy anyway... I even asked him to join me in the company but he refused... I don't know what's bothering him" Dean opens the nylons slowly while bringing out the food, one at a time.
"So where is Jeffrey now?" Wayne asked him... it's the question he has wanted to ask.
"Jeffrey! Hmm... I don't know what's wrong with him... We're having a fun time together and all of a sudden, he told me that he has an appointment to make... I tried to join him but he refused and went alone... I'm scared but I have faith in him..." Dean opened the food slowly, it was ramen and beef.
"Hmm... that's a relief... so why did you keep it from me... I have been asking you since the moment you entered the hotel but you snub me all along" Wayne collected a fork while trying to eat the food.
"I'm sorry... I've to be at work today... you know I missed a day... and my face needed to be shown here.... that reminds me... my mum! I haven't seen her for some time now... I think I'll sleep at my place... will you?" he started eating while stretching his hand on them.
"It's fine... we'll rest at the hotel... " Wayne commented while still eating the food while the black wolves leader was so slow trying to remove his food from the table...
"So...What did you want to tell us about?" Dean pointed his fork at the black wolf's leader but suddenly got a text...
"I hope you are doing great... I know my friends will be worried about me but tell them not to worry... I'll be back soon... I just needed to sort things out... I know right now... you'll be worried about me but you don't have to... I'm safe and I'll always be safe... take care of the company's okay..." Dean read out the text as they were staring at him dumbfounded.
"I can see he still cares for us even when he's not... around us..." Dean smiled and dropped his cell phone as he continued to eat.
"Golden! you wanted to tell us something... and why are you so quiet" Dean turned to her and before he turned his back, he saw that Wayne had already finished eating.
"I'm sorry... I'm not in the mood to discuss it... maybe next time" Golden replied, still eating his meal slowly.
"What?" Wayne and Dean yelled together.
