Chapter 15
Aemon's POV:
"F**c! This nasty guy, let me rip his mouth off." Rick said angrily in my head.
I was hiding in the corner of the auditorium. Looking at the man's abominable face, I was also so angry that I clenched my fists and could not wait to go up and beat him up.
At the same time, a wave of irritation rose up inside me, and maybe I should have punched myself. I had just realized that something was wrong with this man and could have stopped him before the wine was poured on Heather.
But I was worried that I was going too fast and that they would see who I was.
The host on stage was now calling out Heather's name, but Heather was too scared to answer because her dress was soiled. There were a lot of people looking at her, and they must have known she was the next contestant to look at her with that teasing look.
I felt very angry, as if a flame was spewing in my heart.
At that moment, a girl with short white hair came out of the crowd, and there was no hint of mockery in her eyes, but rather concern for Heather.
She gave the man a slap and then a hug to Heather. the man seemed to want to fight back, but after giving the girl a look, he voluntarily left the scene. The woman was supposed to be Heather's friend, and I stopped moving forward, feeling grateful and lost inside.
Happily, I was no longer Heather's only friend and she was no longer alone. The white-haired girl took her blouse off to cover Heather's wet chest, then went on stage to discuss a few things with the host.
After a while, the host said to let the girl named Bria perform first, the girl with white hair.
Bria came down and said something to Heather that seemed to comfort her. heather's eyes were soaked with tears and her ice blue eyes looked even more pitiful.
But the reassurance of her friend worked for Heather, and she soon broke into a smile and turned to run quickly toward the auditorium door. I kept my eyes on Heather and was about to follow her out when another person jumped in front of me.
This time it was Tina, a woman with a sinister look on her face. Thinking about her thoughts on Edwyn, I could immediately ascertain that she had set everything up just now.
"Hey, let me deal with this bitch, she must have gotten Heather to do this, let me teach her a lesson." Rick chuckled in my head.
Rick always had a lot of sneaky ideas, and thinking about it, I gave him control of my body.
Rick controlled me to follow and grabbed Tina's arm before she left. tina, perhaps in shock because of her weak heart, stared at me with bloodshot eyes and a frightened look on her face.
Her expression was so comical that Rick could barely hold back his laughter as he asked, in a deliberately flippant tone, out loud, "Hey, Tina, how about teaching me a dance?"
"Damn, get out of my way, you stinker!" Tina reacted and swore at me.
Rick grunted and increased the force of his fingers, and Tina cried out as she was squeezed.
No one in the school dared to do this to this arrogant little princess, and many turned their eyes to stare this way, and a boy recording the event turned his camera around.
"Damn it, you better get off my back!" Tina said to me through clenched teeth, her features twisted in anger.
"Oh, that's easy, as long as you promise to teach me a dance, which shouldn't be too hard for you." Rick looked at her like a scoundrel.
No teacher would come to reconcile the conflict on such a day. Everyone else had been oppressed by Tina, and I'm afraid they had wanted to see her make a fool of herself for a long time, and no one was willing to come up to help her.
Tina was so angry with me that her breasts rose and fell violently. She glared at me fiercely, but finally agreed to my request.
Rick learned to dance like a human, tightening his arms around Tina's waist and pinching her wrists hard with the other hand.
"Damn, can't you get your hands off me?!" Tina said angrily, trying to move my thick palm away from her waist.
"It's all because your waist is so thick that I need to hold it tighter to get a good grip." Rick grumbled contemptuously, his fingers not slackening in the slightest.
Tina gasped with exhaustion and did not move my hand away, she looked up again and threatened me, "Just wait, stinker, you won't have a good time here in the future."
I paid no attention to her words and took a step away by lifting her waist. Every few minutes she would let out a cry of pain, followed by a series of vicious curses because I always stepped on her feet.
At times like this, Rick would look at her innocently and frown, "I'm so sorry, who told me I can't dance, please bear with me."
Several times Tina tried to break away from me, her face contorted to the point of distortion, but my wolf just wouldn't let go of her.
It wasn't until the doors of the auditorium were pushed open again and a beautiful figure caught my attention and Rick's that Tina escaped from my grasp.
Heather is back, and she's back in the clothes and shoes I gave her, which is not quite what I was expecting.
Heather looked like a fairy tale princess in this dress, the white pearls on her body shining brightly in the light.
At that moment, the song on stage just stopped, and everyone's attention was drawn to Heather. This includes Tina, who looks at Heather jealously and lifts her foot to get past her.
Rick was already enthralled with Heather and I regained control of my body. Next to me was the buffet table, and thinking about what Tina had just instructed someone to do to Heather, I carried over a plate of buttercream and ran right over to her.
"Hey Tina, thanks for teaching me how to dance, come and have a cake!" I purposely ran fast and furiously and crashed hard into her.
We both fell to the ground and the cake I was holding fell right on her face.
Tina screamed, wiped the cake off her face, gave me a vicious glare, and fled the place in a huff.
In the process, Heather had carried her skirt and ran backstage, like a frightened rabbit. Thinking of Heather's blushing cheeks just now, I couldn't help but tug at the corners of my mouth.
Patting the dust off my body, I went back to the corner where I belonged.
After the moderator's comments, it was finally Heather's turn to take the stage.
The stage erupted in applause because of her gorgeous costume, and when Heather opened her mouth, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
I saw the look of fascination on their faces as both men and women seemed to be captivated by Heather's song. I felt a little proud that I had heard Heather sing better.
Heather may have been a little nervous and didn't sound as relaxed as she did at Cedar Grove, but the title will definitely be hers.
Heather's nervousness was evident on her face, and her fingers were white from overexertion as she gripped the microphone.
I was the first to applaud, and was immediately followed by ear-splitting applause, interspersed with several roars of excitement.
The competition was synchronized on the campus network by live streaming, and after Heather's performance, online voting began.
Heather's video was reposted on the campus network, so much so that her votes kept climbing and she quickly pulled away from second place finisher Bria.
The results would be announced at 10:00 the following day. I spent the whole night holding my phone, checking the poll every few minutes, more nervous than when I participated in the tribal duel.
I was convinced Heather could win, but by 9 a.m., when I looked at my phone again, the voting had taken a huge turn.
The girl who was in third place before, became the person with the most votes!
Heather became second place and was a lot of votes away from first place.
This must be someone cheating!
I immediately got out my computer and hacked into the voting site to try to find the fake votes.
But to my surprise, those votes are real.
Unless I tamper with Heather's votes now, Heather will definitely not win.
