Chapter 60
Heather's POV:
With a swish, the curtains seemed to be pulled back and warm sunlight spilled onto my face.
Honey, you need to get up, you can't sleep in today. Aemon's gentle call sounded in my ears.
...... I want to sleep some more. I said in a daze, raising my hand to shield my eyes.
I slept too late with Aemon last night, causing me to have no energy at all and my head is dizzy now.
Baby, you may not be able to sleep in these days. Aemon should have collapsed next to me again, and the hot breath he exhaled sprinkled on my face.
It was as if I could begin to smell his scent alone, and following that distinctive scent, I closed my eyes and burrowed into his arms. After finding a comfortable position, I breathed out in comfort and my consciousness began to sink once again.
Don't sleep, honey, we're having three weddings and we need to get ready soon. Aemon ruffled my hair, his warm lips landing on my face before sliding all the way down to the nape of my neck.
What? I opened my eyes blankly and looked up at him, "Why do we have to have three weddings?"
Hmm? Aemon raises half an eyebrow, "Didn't we discuss this yesterday? We're going to have one in Reims City, one in Busa Forest, and one in the ocean."
I frowned at Aemon's handsome face near me and thought back carefully on what we had said last night, as if we had discussed all this.
After all, when we were excited last night, we even thought about what color clothes our children would wear. But now think about it in the context of reality, three weddings is simply torture for us.
I fell back into Aemon's arms, wrapped my arms around him, and casually said, "I'm just kidding, three weddings are too tiring, one is enough."
I thought you liked that, I prepared three wedding dresses for you, it seems that now I have to return. Aemon said with a sigh.
Wedding dresses? Why return them, that's too much trouble, at least let me try them all on. I sat up in surprise, my drowsiness completely gone.
Aemon gave a sly smile, "Sure, if you're awake now, we'll try it on."
I suddenly realized that Aemon must have tempted me with the wedding dress to trick me into getting up, but I took the bait anyway.
There is no woman who doesn't love a beautiful dress, especially a clean white wedding dress.
I don't know where Aemon's parents have gone, and I don't know when Aemon prepared the wedding dress.
There were three wedding dresses standing in the fitting room, all very beautiful.
It's so beautiful! I looked at them in amazement, "Can I have them all?"
Aemon pulled me forward two steps and said with a smile, "Let's go try them on first."
Okay! I eagerly walked over, took the middle one first, and went into the changing room.
This is an open-breasted hip-wrap style wedding dress, gauze mesh sleeves, waist side with see-through white gauze design, looks very sexy.
I rarely wear this type of dress, and after I put it on I was suddenly a little shy until Aemon came knocking on the door, "Do you need help?"
No, I'll be right out.
After saying that, I took a deep breath and walked out with a lift.
Walking over to the mirror, I raised an eyebrow at Aemon, gesturing for him to comment.
Beautiful. Aemon had a smile on his lips as his eyes swept over my body.
I could tell from his stunned look that he was indeed pleased with the way I now I looked.
I smiled at him and took the diamond encrusted wedding dress on my left side into the changing room again.
It was a conservative but gorgeous wedding dress with shoulder pads that looked beautiful on the collarbones and was a little tricky to put on.
Aemon again offered to come in and help me, but I refused, wanting to give him the best first impression.
No matter what you wear, I think you're beautiful. Especially that blue plaid dress you wore when I first saw you. Aemon said in confession outside the door.
That was the scene when Aemon first saw me.
Is that so? That time I only remember your white ass. I teased to Aemon.
Aemon seemed to sigh and muttered in a small voice, "I really shouldn't have told you."
I pursed my lips and laughed, not answering him again.
After a while, the wedding dress was finally put on. I still lifted my breath and went out, raising an eyebrow at Aemon like I did before.
It's beautiful. Aemon didn't mince words in his praise.
His eyes were still stunning, like he was admiring a beautiful work of art.
Satisfied, I went to pick up the last wedding dress to try on inside when Aemon pulled me back and asked with a smile, "Wait, Heather, why aren't you talking? Are you holding your breath?"
He said and tickled my waist, and I burst out laughing and bent over, no more manners whatsoever.
Aemon, you bad boy! I hammered my fist at Aemon's shoulder, "If my flab is holding up my dress it's all your fault."
Where did you get that flab? Aemon dodged and caught my fist, grabbed me and walked towards the changing room, "Let me help you with this one, let me see where your bulge is."
I finally finished trying on three wedding dresses, I was so tired that I lay down on the sofa to catch my breath.
Well? Which one do you want? Aemon came over and took me into his arms.
Can't I have all three? I looked up at him.
Sure, but if you only want one wedding, you'll have to pick one to wear on the day. Aemon said.
I looked at the three wedding dresses again and hesitantly said, "That's the middle one, it's a little revealing but I want people to see a different me."
Well, I think that one looks best too. Aemon echoed in my ear.
Didn't you say they all look good? I raised my eyebrows at him.
The corners of Aemon's mouth rose, "Well, they all look good."
Men really do like women who wear less. I said.
Aemon kissed him.
The day of the wedding was sunny and I finally chose to get married at the church in Reims City.
Aemon's parents did come, and they put away their old sharpness and blessed us kindly and affectionately.
In the soft music, I came out wearing the wedding dress Aemon prepared for me, and immediately attracted everyone's attention.
My parents' both passed away, and I didn't invite my adoptive father, only Bria could walk me down the aisle.
I wish you happiness, my dear sister. Bria handed my hand to Aemon with tears in her eyes.
Thanks, Bria, you too. My eyes burned a little, too.
Aemon squeezed my hand comfortingly and led me over to the priest who began to read the wedding vows.
When the priest sniffed to see if I was willing, I looked at Aemon and the corners of my mouth rose uncontrollably.
I do. I said excitedly.
Aemon put the ring on me again, telling me that it was a symbol of the werewolf clan's status and that with this ring I was the Luna of their clan.
He would always be my Alpha.
We kissed amidst the blessings of the crowd, and time was stretched out in this moment.
I closed my eyes and remembered everything I had experienced with Aemon during this long kiss. I think it was worth all the trials and tribulations to meet Aemon.
End.
