Chapter 40
Aemon's POV.
Heather's wounds were so distressing to me that I didn't care about anyone else's injuries, only Heather's. I trust that Heather will not initiate any trouble, and even if she did, I would stand by her unconditionally.
But I can't stop Heather from taking on the challenge. It's her way of proving herself, and all I can do is make her stronger and teach her how to get the win.
So Heather had to train in the use of sea scales during the day, and at night she had to engage in intense combat training with me. After using the pack doctor's medicine, Heather was much better and could finally talk, but the bruises on her neck were still clear.
Between breaks, I couldn't resist touching Heather's neck, chagrined, "I'm sorry, Heather, I didn't protect you well enough to let you get hurt on my territory."
"It's okay Aemon, you can't always be there for me, all these trials and tribulations can make me stronger." Heather cupped mine for comfort.
"Heather, you can actually not accept this challenge and I won't let them throw you out." I continued to persuade Heather that this duel was somewhat dangerous, and I didn't want Heather to risk it.
"I'm not accepting the challenge because I'm worried they'll kick me out, I just want to fight for you, I want to beat Bonnie and then tell all the women who like you that you belong to me, and I'm not afraid of any challenge." Heather said with a determined and serious gaze.
These words were like a cluster of arrows that hit me exactly in the heart, and I felt my whole body's blood boil.
Looking at Heather's rosy lips, I couldn't restrain myself any longer and kissed her roughly. After the relationship was established, we never had a formal date, and the little time we had left to train, I was going crazy.
Heather was a little shy at first, but after a while, she began to respond to me passionately. We kissed tightly, absorbing each other's warmth as best we could, chasing and entwining our lips and tongues. I didn't let her go until Heather's legs and feet were weak and she couldn't breathe.
Heather climbed weakly onto my shoulders, panting heavily, her face, pale from her injuries, finally turning rosy like a ripe red apple. She flung herself into my arms and buried her face in front of my chest, leaving me with only the top of her hair. I knew she was shy and hugged her tightly.
"They all say Bonnie is your fiancée, so have you ever kissed her? She's actually a very pretty girl." Heather's dull voice came out of my arms.
I tightened my arms and replied, "Of course not, I used to just think of her as a sister, I never thought any other woman was pretty until you showed up in front of me, and my wolf and I have been waiting for you."
"Your wolf?" Heather queried.
"Well, werewolves all have their own wolf, that's a separate spirit body, his name is Rick, and he's very fond of you too." I explained to Heather.
"Thank you brother, I would feel much happier if you would give me your body." Rick's voice rang out in my head.
"That's impossible, unless you're dreaming." I told Rick.
"Oh, this is amazing, do you guys use the same body?" Heather looked up curiously.
I raised an eyebrow and said, "You could say that, but I'm in charge and he has to do what I tell him to do."
"Shame on you, Aemon, you'd better not let me command you in battle in the future." Rick said indignantly.
"So ......" Heather shrugged her eyebrows and said seriously, "Would it actually be Rick that I would love?"
I almost froze as Rick burst into exaggerated laughter in my head, "Aemon, did you hear that? She said she might be in love with me and you should give me some time alone."
Reacting, I ignored Rick and pulled back to smile at Heather, "Of course not, it's always been me around you, and he doesn't like women."
"Hey, don't go too far, you're slandering me!" Rick yelled in my head.
Heather's eyes widened in surprise, "Does he like men? Then will he use your body to ......" Heather didn't finish her sentence, but I could probably guess what she was going to say, and I felt the explanation was getting confusing.
"No, he doesn't like anyone, he just likes to eat." I said.
"Then I'll make more good food for him later, so he'll behave in your head." Heather said with a smile.
"Okay, well, let's get back to training." I don't want to talk to Heather about Rick anymore, even if the guy is my mental body, and I feel jealous.
Bonnie has no special skills in fighting, but she has a lot of speed and strength, which is the gift of every werewolf. heather has the ability to charm, but in order to ensure the fairness of the duel, Bonnie cannot turn into a wolf, and Heather cannot use the charm ability.
Heather's physical ability is definitely no match for Bonnie's, and the best way to win is to duck and cover until the dueling time is over.
This challenge-initiated duel has a time limit, and as long as Heather is not defeated within the time limit, then the initiator of the challenge is ruled to have lost.
And if Heather wants to win by strength, she must master Bonnie's weakness as soon as possible, and use this weakness to break the opponent's moves.
"Bonnie is fast and strong, but she's not sensitive enough or defensive enough." I analyzed to Heather, "Especially when you piss her off, she will only focus on attacking you and won't do any defense, which is your chance to attack her."
"Okay, I'll keep that in mind." Heather said with a nod, looking at me with a serious face.
"Let's train for speed now, you attack me and when you can touch my forehead, today's training is over." I said to Heather.
Heather nodded and looked at me with more concentration in her eyes while making a ready stance to strike.
I looked at her with a smile and raised and lowered my hand: "Go!"
Heather immediately threw a punch at me, and as far as I could see, her movements seemed to slow down for a few seconds, and without any finesse, I easily dodged her attack.
"It's too slow, come again, don't stop." I said to her, my tone deliberately much more serious.
On my command, Heather came at me again, but her movements were still very slow. After nearly half an hour, Heather didn't touch me, and she was too tired to lift her fist, her face covered in sweat.
"Okay, take a break." I handed Heather a towel, "Wipe off the sweat, and then drink some water."
Heather, like a student who finally heard the bell, sighed with relief and then fell to the ground violently. I immediately went up and wrapped my arms around her, looking at her worriedly, "What's wrong with you? Where are you not feeling well."
"It's okay, I just want to take a break, I'm so tired." Heather said with her eyes closed, her body completely leaning on me.
I loved the way she depended on me. Looking at her flushed cheeks, I couldn't resist going up and giving her a kiss.
Heather opened her eyes and stared at me in surprise, and after a moment of staring, she suddenly smiled and asked me, "What does sweat taste like? Did you taste it?"
I laughed too and leaned over and pressed into her, "You'll see if you try."
After making out for a while, Heather's face got even redder, and when she finally calmed down, she asked me with some concern, "Aemon, am I too slow? Can I still win? I don't think I'm going to be able to touch you at all."
"You can do it." I looked at her, "Maybe you haven't noticed, but you're getting faster."
"Really?" Heather questioned, "Why do I feel like nothing has changed, and it's gotten even slower since I've run out of energy."
"Of course it's true, your stamina is depleting, so is the enemy's. Five more days of practice at most, and you'll run into me." I said to Heather.
"Okay, I'll work on that, let's get on with it." Heather left my embrace and stood up straight.
I lingered to shake the remaining warmth in my hand, had to stand up and continue to put in training, "Do not just use your eyes to see when you act, but use your body to feel, and it is best to anticipate the movements of your opponent ......"
Heather was better than I thought she would be, and after only three days, she was able to run into me, and we'll have to add a higher level of difficulty to that next.
After a month of training, Heather has basically mastered the offensive and defensive skills, when Bonnie also sent a challenge again.
