Chapter 21
Aemon's POV:
When I woke up again, the only person in the room was my father.
"You're finally awake, little bastard!" Father excitedly stood up from the sofa with a tired look on his face, "Your mother hasn't rested for the past few days and just fell asleep."
"Father, how long have I been lying here?" I asked, my voice a little hoarse.
"It's been almost two weeks, and the police have been outside every day to keep an eye on you." My father said in a deep voice, "You say we don't need to control you, and this is how you handle it? You almost died!"
"I'm not dying that easily, and when I'm done with this, you guys can't force me to get married again." I looked at my father indifferently, "This time it's all because of Bonnie, she's a barbaric woman and I absolutely cannot marry her."
"Didn't Bonnie say that? She just wants to take revenge for you. She grew up in Busa forest, do not know the rules of human society, you can not understand her a little?Vito has not allowed the poor child to leave the forest." Father said with wrinkled brows.
"Yes, it's not her fault, I should blame you and Mother. You knew Bonnie didn't know the rules of humanity, yet you let her come to me alone in order to force me into marriage, and it's all your fault!" I said in a cold voice.
"You heartless bastard, your mother and I are doing this for you! Bonnie is your destined Mate, you should have gotten married a long time ago!" Father said angrily.
"No way! You promised me yourself before that if I could solve this matter on my own, neither you nor my mother would force me again until I graduated." I was so excited to sit up that the wound on my body was torn again and blood kept spilling out from under the bandage.
"Lay it on me, you little shit! I won't back out!" My father leaned over and pressed my shoulder, looked at me with an exasperated and helpless gaze and said, "If you don't want to get married no one can force you, wait until the rut and you'll know how hard it is."
"I can fix this one too, you don't have to worry about it." I was willing to lie down quietly when I learned that my father would not go back on his words. Calm down, I began to feel some pain in my body, but I could tolerate this level of pain.
After resting for a while, I asked my father to call the police in, and I had to get the matter dealt with as soon as possible. This matter has dragged on long enough, and the police want to close the case as soon as possible.
When I told them the brown bear had attacked me, they hardly questioned it, which may still have a fatherly connection.
I cleaned up Bonnie's trail before the police found the bodies. Then I released the animals in the acrobatics and had the brown bear cause secondary damage to the bodies, and after that I had a battle with the brown bear in human form.
During the fight, I deliberately let the brown bear leave wounds on my body, the only way I could get rid of suspicion.
The police didn't want a case that was too complicated, and they wanted the case to be done by inhuman beasts more than unknown monsters. With my evidence, they quickly closed the case and made an announcement.
What worried me was that the brown bear had not been found, which was not part of my plan. The acrobatic humans had trained the brown bear brutally, making it extra cranky and learning to hide.
My father said that I was still too young and did not handle the matter well. But I think this is really his excuse, after all, there is no absolutely perfect plan in this world, but I will find the brown bear as soon as possible.
Werewolves heal much better than humans, and it was our pack's doctor who operated on me. On the third day after I woke up, I was able to go home.
I wanted to go back to school right away. I hadn't seen Heather in a long time and the longing was more torturous than the wounds on my body. But my mother insisted that I go home and rest for a few days, and she looked so tired that I had to agree to her.
Heather's POV:
All this time, I hadn't seen the black wolf in the cedar grove. After the police made the announcement, the campus was back to its old self, and I began to suspect that I was being paranoid.
Maybe those people were really bitten by the brown bear, I don't need to put this crime on the black wolf, now I just want to see it again because I miss it.
I'll stick to the cedar grove at night, and I'll go to class as usual during the day.
Today there was a gym class, which is the class I hate the most. There was a swimming program in P.E. I explained to Principal Jenny that I have a phobia of the deep sea and she said I could get out of the water without it, but the P.E. teacher still asked me to sit in the swimming pool.
This teacher once looked at me disgruntled and said, "Deep-sea phobia is a psychological effect, and there is no person in this world who can't go into the water. You should try to overcome it, otherwise you are just being lazy and making excuses."
But I know that's not the case. When I go into the water, I develop a near-death fear. I tried to overcome this damn obstacle, too, but I never succeeded.
Every time I take a class I choose a place to sit furthest from the pool, but I still feel scared and always worry that someone will push me into the water.
My classmates gathered to discuss me loudly; they thought I was timid and that I was pretending to be that way on purpose.
To make matters worse, Tina was also at the swimming pool today and I could feel her watching me the whole time. After finishing the teacher's training, they could practice on their own and the teacher left after standing in the gym for a while.
After many summaries, I knew that the teacher would not return until the end of class, so I also wanted to take advantage of the opportunity immediately. But as I was about to leave, Tina called out to me, "Hey, Heather, come here for a second."
The more I fear something, the more likely it is to happen. When I heard Tina's voice, I subconsciously shivered and felt a great sense of panic inside.
"Heather! Can't you hear me?!" Tina raised her voice and shouted at me again.
Then she threatened me, "If you don't come over, I'll just have to come and get you."
I bit my lip and turned my head to look at her, "Is something wrong Tina, I want to go back to class."
Tina was now lying on her back by the pool, showing only one shoulder, "But class isn't over yet, and if you dare leave, I'll be sure to tell the teacher."
"Then I'll just sit there and wait until class is over before I leave." I had to walk back.
"I asked you to come to me, I have something to talk to you about, didn't you hear me clearly?" Heather glared at me angrily, her voice full of oppressiveness.
"No, I don't want to go near the pool, can you come over?" My voice trembled a little, Tina was really on to me again.
"Of course not, why are you so timid, I just want to say something to you." Tina said, slowing her voice and smiling at me, "Come here, Heather, come stand next to me."
Still shaking my head, I insisted, "No, I'm not going over there!"
I knew the smile on her face was just an illusion. Sure enough, after I rejected her once again, Tina immediately changed her face.
She looked at me with a grim gaze and hooked the corners of her mouth into an evil smile as she said to the girls around her, "I can give you a gift of whatever you want as long as you help me get Heather here."
Tina's voice was so loud that all the girls at the pool heard it, and instantly they all looked at me. The scene was so horrible that they seemed to turn into hungry wolves, looking at me like I was looking at a piece of raw meat.
I was so frightened that I immediately ran for the door, even though I would be deducted points by the teacher, I had to escape from the place. But when I left my seat, all the girls flocked towards me. I ran faster because I was a bit far away from them and they didn't catch me.
I quickly ran towards the door, but there were three girls standing at the door as well. Their bodies were strong and they easily tackled me and dragged me towards the pool.
"No! Let go of me! Please!" I cried out, struggling nonstop, my heart beating harder and harder.
The girl holding me pushed me over as soon as the girls next to me all came over and pushed me.
The ground was covered in water, and I was pushed by them and fell right next to Tina. Glancing at the wide pool next to me, I squeezed my eyes shut, and my body couldn't stop shaking.
Even before I touched the water in the pool, I could feel its cold temperature and my body seemed to have been submerged in water.
Suddenly, there was a sharp pain in my scalp and I had to open my eyes. tina grabbed my hair and she was still standing in the pool.
"I heard you have a phobia of the deep sea, is that true?" Tina smiled like a demon.
"It's true, leave me alone, Tina," I cried, my voice shaking, "I haven't hurt you, why do you always hold it against me?"
"Because you seduced Edwyn and you made him fall in love with you, you bitch!" Tina hissed harshly in my ear, pulling hard on my hair.
"Edwyn and I are just friends, I didn't hit on him." I said. My scalp hurts, but it doesn't ease the panic inside me.
"You're still lying, hypocritical bitch, and I'm going to have to teach you a lesson!" Tina became increasingly agitated as she yanked my hair back a little.
My body followed the slide forward, half of my body was hanging in the water, the end of my hair had been soaked.
"No! Don't do this, Tina!" I hissed.
But my screaming only made Tina feel more excited as she let go of my hair and pulled on my shirt the next second.
Realizing what she was going to do, I began to struggle, but because I was afraid, my body couldn't help but tremble and I had absolutely no strength to break free.
"The internet says that deep sea phobia will kill you if you go into the water, let me try it and we'll see if you're lying." Tina grinned wickedly and leaned her body back.
She pulled my clothes tightly, and my body followed the slide to the water ......
