Chapter 28
Aemon's POV:
Appearing in front of our car was a brown bear, I remembered its appearance, it was the same brown bear that I released from the acrobatics and later scratched me and ran away.
It was standing in the middle of the road, and it had no intention to give way at all, instead, it came towards the car step by step. If I turned into the form of a wolf, I could slap it away with one paw. But now Heather is still with me and I can't turn into a wolf.
The brown bear took one step forward, while I backed the car up at the same speed, all the while thinking of a countermeasure.
"What do we do? Call the police?" Heather asked nervously, grabbing my arm.
The easiest way to avoid fighting with the brown bear is to turn the car around and go the long way around to the hotel. The brown bear is so large that if you run it over directly, the car will definitely be damaged as well.
I had just turned the car halfway, and as the car crossed the road, I was still watching for any oncoming traffic behind me.
"It's coming at us!" Just as Heather's words fell, the brown bear's paw slapped hard against the passenger window, shattering it directly.
Tempered glass spilled all over the floor and Heather screamed, her hands clutching her head.
I jumped out of the car door, turned into a wolf, leaped over the roof of the car, and slapped the bear with my paws. The bear was smashed into a large tree on the side of the road and the pole was instantly snapped in half. The bear struggled hard underneath me, and his paws scratched my chest.
I could feel the wound bleeding, but my whole body didn't let up a bit until the bear was completely quiet underneath me. I didn't move immediately after I was sure the bear was out of breath, and I didn't even dare to look at Heather just now.
She shouldn't have been hurt by the brown bear, but I didn't know how to face her or how to explain the fact that I was the big black wolf she had seen.
But I stood in place for a long time without a sound behind me, and I couldn't help but start to worry a little.
Did she still get scratched by the brown bear?
Thinking that this was a possibility, I didn't dare hesitate to turn around and look immediately. In the broken window of the car, Heather collapsed in the driver's seat, not moving.
At this moment, I felt like my breathing was going to stop.
"Don't worry, she's not dead, I can still feel her life." My wolf said in my head.
"So what's wrong with her?" Still unsure, I rushed over to open the car door and check her body.
Fortunately for Heather, there were no wounds on her body and she was probably just stunned. But I couldn't relax. I wasn't sure if Heather had seen me turn into a wolf before she passed out.
After a few moments of hesitation, I decided to take Heather to the hotel on the beach first. I put Heather in the back seat and disposed of the brown bear before driving off.
When we arrived at the beach, I carried Heather to the hotel room, where Heather's friend Bria saw us first and greeted us immediately.
"Hey, who are you, Heather? What's going on?" Bria took my arm.
"I'm Aemon, Edwyn asked me to pick her up and on the way we met the brown bear and Heather got scared out of her wits." I explained briefly, holding Heather on my feet as I walked forward.
"God, you've changed so much!" Bria exclaimed in amazement, pressing the elevator open for me and asking worriedly, "Are you sure Heather isn't hurt? Should we get a doctor to take a look."
"I checked it out and it should be fine, but if there's a doctor here, it's best to come and help her."
Bria opened the hotel door for me and I carefully placed Heather on the bed, which was a relief.
"Of course there's a doctor, Edwyn is well prepared, so I'll go ahead and find ...... Oh my God, you're hurt!" Bria suddenly shouted.
"It's okay, it should have been caught by a bear." I said carelessly, my eyes still on Heather .
"Well, then you rest and I'll go call a doctor for you right away." Bria left the room again.
Now it's just Heather and I in the room again. All the rooms in this hotel have a floor-to-ceiling window, so visitors can see the ocean when they open the curtains.
Perhaps because it's daytime, the curtains in this room are hung up, the sunlight outside the window just spilled on Heather's body, illuminating her already fair skin seems to be glowing, beautiful unreal.
But Heather's face was too pale, she was mumbling a prophecy I couldn't understand, her brow was furrowed, and she looked like she was haunted by a nightmare.
"What did you say, Heather ." I leaned over to hear her voice, but I still didn't get it. I was about to get up when Heather grabbed me by the corner of my coat.
I looked at the girl in front of me up close and couldn't help but raise my hand to stroke her brow, finally smoothing out the crease in the middle. My hand lingered and didn't want to leave, sliding back up to the tip of her nose and then her lips.
Heather's lips are slightly thick, pink like jelly, she likes to bite her lips, this action is actually very sexy. I feel a little dry mouth every time I look at it, and want to bite on it to try.
So thinking, I have lowered my head, nose against her nose, as long as a little further down, I can touch the lips that make me obsessed ......
"Bang!"
Suddenly, there was a loud bang in the quiet space. I jerked toward the doorway to find Edwyn staring angrily at me, while the door behind him was still shaking.
