We took her to Jane clinic but she couldn't treat her. So she was transferred to the main hospital in the pack. Since it's related to her head a neurosurgeon was needed.
Thank goodness I allow some of my pack members to have a better education. So we have a good doctors among them. Now they could use it to treat my mate.
Members from other pack do get transferred here if they have a serious injury doctors over here can take care of them.
We have been waiting outside the surgery room for some time now, Derek has been restless ever since she went in for the surgery.
An hour later the doctor walked out of the surgery room.
"How is she?" I asked.
"Well Alpha thankfully it isn't that serious it was just a mild concussion. If it was wolf it wouldn't have taken that long with her being a human, she was put in an induced coma to reduce the swelling in her brain and also get a lot of rest." The doctor said.
" When is she going to be up?" I asked again.
"If she was a wolf, we would have known that but since she isn't we can't say anything now.
"Alpha, next time something of sort happened call the emergency unit. So we can come pick her ourselves. You bringing a patient who wounded her head is very dangerous. It's a miracle nothing happened to her. The doctor explained.
"Can we go see her now?" I asked him.
"She will need to be transferred to the ICU unit before you can see her." He said gently. He was an omega wolf before he became a doctor. He is best doctor we have here he think he could help the pack since he love treating other so he decided to go study in the human world, which is kind of really helpful now.
"Thanks," he bowed and left.
I glared at Sophia, who has been crying non stop since she came to the hospital. Now she heard she was fine she should be happy.
"The next time you leave the pack without my permission and again with my mate I won't take it likely with you." Since she was still shock about what happened she just nodded her head in agreement with smile on her face.
"Alpha, there are some things we notice about her if you mind I....."
"You should talk to me about it I am her only friend," Sophia rushed toward the doctor pushing me out of the way. The doctor stare at her and look up at me I nod telling him to talk to her. He bowed again and Sophia went with him. "I am curious about what the doctor wants to tell Sophia." My wolf said sadly. "Let's leave that for another Derek." I replied my wolf.
THREE DAYS LATER
It has been three days with no response from Selena, it got to a stage where I couldn't do anything in the office all my mind was occupied with her or should be I put this way my wolf doesn't allow me concentrate on my work.
When I asked the doctor why she hasn't woken up. He made it clear he did his part. Now it was left for the patient to do hers. And also since she is a human it might take sometimes for her to regain conciousness If the care of my mate wasn't in his hands I would have done something bad to him.
Derek keep getting worried every single day our mate has been on the hospital bed.
Sophia is always with her the whole twenty four hours, she clean her up and get her dress everyday. She doesn't allow any other nurse touch her. She must be really close with her. My sister doesn't havea friend she always push people away from her since she has been a kid.

I walked into the ICU, feeling bad seeing her lying on the bed, she is still gorgeous even though her head were wrapped in bandage. The way she slept as if she has no worries in the world,I went close to her and sat on the little stool beside her bed. I hold her hands making my wolf purr in satisfaction He has always accept her from the beginning I am the one who doesn't want to accept her. I still haven't gotten over my mate death.I couldn't reject her because my wolf threatened to break connections with me if I do.
"Don't you have something important to do in your office?" Sophia asked irritated with the way I am always here.
"The heck, why can't I be here? she is my mate," Derek growled out.
"I am surprised you called her your mate." She said with scowl on her face. I ignored her and look back at my sleeping human mate. I am getting use to me calling her mate this days.
"If you had accepted her from the beginning this wouldn't happen, she is such a sweet girl who hasn't been loved instead of her mate showering her with love all he does is he can't accept or reject her. You keep being stupid everyday." She grumble out.
"Wait, did you just read my mind?" I asked surprised. As if just realizing what she did she slam her hands on her mouth shocked.
She hasn't for once been able to read my mind or hear my thought since she was a kid. I also made her stop learning sorcery since I wanted her to be just a wolf to prevent the council causing trouble for her.
"Did you start to learn spells?" I growled out using my Alpha voice on her.
"I am sorry okay, I just can't help it she was full of a lot of misery I wanted to know about her." She admitted.
I pull her out of the ICU so we don't disturb my mate.
"Stop pulling my hands hardly it's hurt," She whispered lowly making me release her hands and told her to follow me quietly.
"What sort of misery is she full of that you decided to put your life in danger? You and I knows what happened to mum and you still go ahead to practice it!" I yelled furiously when we got to a quiet and deserted place where I know is going to be hard for just any wolf to come to without a reason.
"My mum lost her sanity when her mate died she couldn't die because she is an half witch. It got to a stage where I begged for her death but my wish wasn't granted. Then I vow to myself I wouldn't allow my sister practice sorcery. Then it's dawn on me my sister is now an half witch.
"Damien, no matter how hard you try to stop me from practicing sorcery it can't stop the fact that I am a witch." She said again.
"I know I can't change the fact you are a witch that is why I don't want you to learn spells, so you don't fully become one"
"Oh please just because dad died making the bond affect mum means I am also going to lose my mate you can't continue controlling my life Damien you are the Alpha doesn't mean I will always do what you want!" She screamed making me see red.
"You don't talk to me that way!" Derek growled. He doesn't like it when he is yelled at. Before I could say anything she pushed me out of the way and left me standing there. She is lucky she is my sister.
I walked back to the ICU to see her talking to her to my sleeping mate, I was mind linked by my Beta to come to the pack that we were having some issues. I didn't want to leave but I had no choice but to do so.
"Alpha news got out to the vampires you have found your mate and she doesn't have a wolf." What the heck how did that happen I can't let that happen the council won't be happy to hear my wolf is a human"How did it get out?" I asked my beta annoyed.
"We are trying to find out how it happened, the pack doesn't know yet so it's better you protect her from the outside world for now. Also the council find out about it they want to meet with you now." My beta said.
"You may leave," I muttered making bowed and leave. I was damn confused my wolf was restless he doesn't want anything to happen to his mate. The council can be so tricky.
I mind linked my Beta to stay in the pack and ask some warriors to go guard the hospital. Since my sister is they are going to think I am protecting my sister. "Alpha are you sure you are going to be fine going alone?" My beta ask concerned.
"I will be fine, just make sure they are well protected and pack is safe." I said getting ready for my trip.
