You can hear me breathing heavily as I punched and kicked the punching bag I have become better at it. I can fight with the gamma but I haven't been able to defeat him. He is very strong you know. After what he told me I chose to become stronger and he is happy I did.
He is now friends with me he teaches me different kinds of techniques in fighting and doesn't teach me roughly like before.
I don't talk much to the Pack members all I do is wake up in the morning take my breakfast in my room, train in the morning cook breakfast with some members. They use every opportunity to pick on me, especially Gina and Alexa but I don't let it get to me. Alexa is the name of the girl on who I poured water. She hates me the most. Sophie once took me to the dining table one night and I regretted going there.
A lot of faces were there and they kept asking me a series of questions. How did the Alpha find me? How did I lose my wolf? Thanks to Sophie and the Gamma who intervene. My cover would have been blown. Since then I promised myself never to go to the dining room ever.
Sometimes the gamma makes me fight with some pack members. It wasn't easy at first since they have wolf powers but now it is becoming easy I am beginning to win in some fights with them. Sophie is the worst of all since she can hear my thoughts and also have the Alpha gene in her. Though she lets me win sometimes though.
The Alpha wasn't back from his trip, Sophie told me the pack they went to help another pack having problems with rogues attack. I now know much about the werewolves.
I still go for my normal checkup in Jane's clinic, my bruises are beginning to heal though I still get some from fighting. The gamma name is Andrew but I prefer not to call him by that. Since I am already used to calling him gamma.
The last time I went for a check-up Jane still tried to convince me to talk to her about how I got the scars on my body. But, I always divert it to another topic.
"Here you are, I have been looking for you around the pack," she said like the drama queen she is.
"You know I have nowhere else to be except this place," I said rolling my eyes.
I am now very free with Sophie she still hasn't asked about my scars sometimes when we talk and it gets to the topic of beauty she makes me feel loved by always saying how beautiful I am.
"Well I just want to tell you my brother is back," She said calmly. I suddenly went stiff. A part of me was happy he is back but another wasn't happy. I was scared he is going to do something bad to me.
"Selena, the only reason he behaves that way with you is that he hasn't come to know you well, you need to be strong you can't keep letting him say things to make you look down on yourself. Make him see you are no more the girl he brought to the pack. Show him you have changed a lot," she said holding my hands to calm me. I didn't even know she is now close to me.
"Hold on, how did you know he called me weak?" I asked. "I told you you are like an open book I can read your thought easily so I know everything that happened the first time you went to his office and also the second time." She said kind of feeling guilty.
"So you knew I was his mate when you took me to the office the first time," I asked her to make me understand.
"No, I kind of knew from the beginning before he brought you home, I saw the vision he was going to bring his mate home but I never knew it was going to be a human.” She said showing confusion on her face.
"Wait vision? What vision are you talking about?" I asked surprised.
"Hmm, seems I haven't told you this because I don't want you to get scared actually my mum is a half-witch and half werewolf making me have it in my gene. Though most people don't know about it because my brother doesn't want them to. He believes I would be safe that way." She said making me shocked.
"So are you saying you are a witch?" I asked to be sure of what I just heard.
"Yes I am but I don't practice sorcery because my brother doesn't want me to but sometimes I see visions from the future," she explained.
"Wow, that is nice. That means you have magic if I am right?" I asked again. Yes, I don't believe supernatural beings are real but I have always wished to have magic then. So I could live on my own.
"Yes I have, but don't practice it because I don't know the spell." She said suddenly strolling towards the punching bag.
"Why does he not want you practicing it?" I asked her confused.
"It's a long story," she said smiling. I decided not to push her to say anything again. Since she doesn't feel like telling me I also didn't tell her my secret and she was fine with it.
"Is anything the problem?" I asked when I saw the way she suddenly stare at me.
"Now that I think of it, my vision has never been unclear, though I am not that good in it." She said again.
"What are you trying to say?" I asked.
"When I had a vision of my brother bringing his mate home it wasn't human but I am surprised you are a human," she said getting serious.
I wanted to ask her something but was stopped when someone told me the Alpha wants to see me. I wasn't happy about it but I couldn't ignore him. Sophie made me promise I won't let him pull me down. Not like I was sure I can do it but I kind of make her know I won't allow that to happen.
When I got to the Alpha office, I knocked and heard a grumpy come in. I don't think he will ever change. I went in and met him facing his computer and pressing the keyboard furiously, I never knew a wolf would have work to do except killing people. I thought.
"Good day, I was told you called for me," I said boldly just as Sophie has taught me to do.
He raised his head and look at me for some time before facing back to his computer doing what God knows. Can't he see someone is standing here waiting for him to say his trash so I can leave? After a few minutes of him doing what God knows he finally says something.
"I heard you improve a lot in your training," He said still typing. I decide not to reply to him since he was told that.
"You still haven't taken to correction about you answering every single question I ask," He said rising from where he was sitting. I thought I was going to be scared of him but I wasn't. Wow, it came as a shock to both of us.
"I see you are becoming bold," He said with a wicked smile. Is he planning to do something? He stopped talking to me and kind of looked stiff sometimes. He must be mind linking someone. I recalled when Sophie was talking to me but suddenly went stiff I was frightened and started jerking her thinking something bad happened to her. I could remember how she teased me about it before explaining it to me.
A few seconds later his eyes were back to me with a mischievous smile he said.
"Why don't we fight tomorrow,"
"What? I never said I can fight with you and it wasn't like I told you anything about me improving." I said glaring at him.
"Hmmm, did you just talk to me that way? You have changed a lot that you even dare to question my authority" He said looking straight into my eyes.
"Hello Mr, the last time I check and read about werewolves I am your mate and I have the same right as you, I can't allow you to make me feel worthless, I am a human doesn't mean I can't be your Luna," Okay I think I have kind of crossed my limit.
"Wow, Flower you are becoming brave and l like it." He said smiling walking slowly towards me and making me move back.
"You know you have disrespected me a lot today. Don't you? He said again closing our distance I shifted back again and noticed I couldn't move back anymore when my back hit the wall. He blocked me with his two hands then sniff my hair and he breathe out.
I felt my body react to his touch He looked at me with a smirk on his face
"The next time you disrespect me I don't know what I will do to you, make this be the last time you talk back at me." He said finally letting go.
"6 AM sharp, meet me in the field I hate it when someone isn't punctual." He said and went back to his system doing what he was doing before I came in.
"Leave," he said, of which I wasted no time in running out of his office.........
