THE PARTY

SELENA POV
"No one was abused we were making an example," I spoke out first before the doctor could say anything. He understands what I was saying and also played along making him calm down a bit. But why was he worried about me it's not like he likes or accepted me. I looked at him to know if he kind of fell for our lies but couldn't his face was blank he is very good at hiding his emotion.
"How is she now?" He asked the doctor as he walked toward us not minding I was sitting there. The doctor told him I just need to be observed for a while before I can be discharged.
The doctor did some checkups asked some more questions and bowed to him, he also told me bye giving me the expression we are going to talk later. Gosh, I am not done with Jane disturbing me every time and now him.
I heard someone clear his throat getting me reminded I wasn't the only one in the room. I looked up at the man who is my mate but doesn't want to accept me.
"I guess you are fine now, it's a piece of great news. When you get discharged you should resume your duty training there is no time for you to slack around." He said looking seriously at me.
Wow, what a nice way to show care. I wanted to scream at him and hit something on him, but recalling what happened the last time before my accident I know it's gonna be my end if I try that.
"Words." He growl making me replied him.
He glare at me one more time before turning back to leave.

"Wakey wakey" I felt someone shaking me but I kept pushing the hands away I was so damn tired yesterday's training wasn't like the normal training the gamma has been teaching me and I had to do it for a whole day making my body sore badly.
I left the hospital after two more days, lucky enough I didn't see the doctor again after that day. I was told he was needed in another pack, having a rogue attack, they couldn't transfer them here so he went there which I am grateful for.
The young doctor was the one who came for my check-up and also gave me my dose he is so funny and nice. I found out that his name is Smith. He has also worked for humans a lot so he knows a lot about us. I'm pretty sure with the number of people knowing I am a human the whole pack is going to know.
The pack members now hate me since I caused a fight between their beta and Alpha, they think I am a threat to them. Most of them don't talk to me they only throw me glares. Not like I feel like talking to them anyways. Gin
"Common Selena you can't just sleep your whole day out, it's 2 in the noon" I heard her say again still shaking me.
"Stop it, I need to sleep," I mumble against my pillow still not opening my eyes, and snuggle more into the bed enjoying the softness.
Suddenly I felt the duvet ripped out of my body, making me feel kind of cold. After much pressure from her, I finally opened my eyes glaring at her.
"Sophie I have enough rest for tomorrow's training, since I am free today allow me to have enough sleep. Please," I begged her but, of course, it went on deaf ears.
"Let's go out and have some fun. My friend is having a party" She jumped excitedly on the bed making me glare at her.
"Then you go alone why waking me from my beauty sleep. It's not like your friend knows me in any way" I grumbled.
"It won't be fun without my bestie by my side." She said with a pout making me not able to resist her puppy face.
"Fine, I will dress up you should also go get ready," I told her of which she immediately jumped out of the bed running out of my room. She doesn't behave like her age at all.
"Selena!" I heard someone scream out my name making me jump out of the bed. Oh my goodness she is so gonna kill me I slept off again after she left.
"You told me you are going to dress up only for me to come to your room expecting you to be done with your bath only to meet you sleeping!" She yelled making me run to the bathroom not giving her any chance to say any more things.
When I was done having my bath I met Sophie spreading a long beautiful black gown on the bed. I went close to it mesmerized by the design.
It's a Stunning Beaded Black Long Mermaid gown, with Boat Neck Long Sleeves.
"It's beautiful where did you get it from?" I asked stunned.
"if you had paid attention when we went to the mall you would have known where I got it from." She said with an eye roll.
"It's not my fault I didn't pay attention, I wasn't used to staying in the mall shopping for almost six hours," I answered still checking the gown.
"It's a girls' thing, Selena, I need to teach you a lot, nevermind come sit here so I make your hair and do some touch-ups on your face." She pointed to the chair she told me to sit.
I sat on the chair she told me to, then she started doing her thing a few minutes later she was done with my hair. She told me to open my eyes and was shocked by the person I was seeing right now.
This isn't the mute, freak, and ugly girl people know, this is someone else entirely.
My dull ginger red hair is now back to life it is packed in a low braided bun allowing a little hair drop in the front at both sides of my head. She added a little makeup to my face with a nude lip gloss.
"Woah thanks a lot, Sophie," I said almost tearing up it means a lot to me the last time someone made my hair was when my grandma was still alive.
"Oh please, you are a beautiful girl so I didn't do much I just did a little touch-up on your face." She said waving it off.
"Now go put on this gown, and no declining a special someone of mine is having a party you don't want the pack saying stuff. I will be back soon I need to talk to someone."
She was also putting on a beautiful black gown it is a One Shoulder gown with a drawstring and V-Neck. It was having a slit at the front right from her thigh down showing her beautiful long leg. Her hair was also packed in a bun but her's wasn't braided.
I picked the gown up gently so it doesn't get damaged, I put it on and zipped it. Looking in the mirror I looked like an elegant lady, the gown hugged my body showing my curve which I never knew I have, pushing my breast a bit up. One thing I love about the gown was that it never showed out any part of my body. Thanks to Sophie.
Not long Sophie came in again with some pack members who drop some boxes on the bed, they bowed and left.
"What are these?" I asked surprised. "Well..." She clapped her hands and jump to where the boxes were dropped she opened the smallest box which made me gasp. It was a pair of golden earrings and a chain in a moon shape. She helps me put it on and also with the necklace.
She open the other box in which there is a gold high heel she told me to put it on and also opened the last box it was containing a black bag decorated with golden stone in a moon shape.
"Now everything is done, you look perfect." She said clapping her hands.
"Sophie is this not kind of much I am just a guest don't you think I am dressing a little too much?" I asked. "Of course not it isn't much you are the King mate you can't be expected to dress lowly."
"Sophie they don't know I am the Alpha's mate," I muttered.
"Whatever I don't care we need to leave now." She said dragging me out.
" Careful Sophie, this is my first time putting on heels," I confessed. I hope I don't embarrass her at her friend's party today.
By the time we were done dressing up, it was 6 pm already.

"Where are we going Sophie we are damn far from the pack," I asked her worriedly as she drive further from the pack. I don't want the last thing that happened the other time to repeat itself.
"Relax honey we are not going to the human world, it is still in the territory of werewolves." She replied still driving.
My stomach grumbles reminding me I haven't eaten since yesterday. Sophie chuckled when she heard the way my stomach grumbled. Then she told me I would eat when I get to her friend's party. I doubt that.
Finally, we got to her friend's party it was like on a beach, it was dark already, and the beach also was very quiet it kind of freaked me out. We went into a small cottage and everywhere was dark I couldn't see anything.
"Sophie I am getting chills I don't like this place, it's too dark," I said but no one replied .
"Sophie," I called out still no one answered I became scared now when did she leave my side?
"I am scared now Sophie so please stop playing tricks now," I cried out but no one replied to.
Tears start trickling down my face, I am always scared of darkness because of my parent. I always get the feeling they can come in at any time to hurt me.
"SURPRISE!"
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SELENA!" ......
