THE LETTER

"My sunshine, we are sorry we couldn't live to see you grow up, we are sorry we won't be there to look after you sunshine. I want you to know that whatever we did was for your good.
If you are reading this letter it only means one thing. My sunshine is now twenty years old and ready for her duty. You might be getting confused reading this, but please try to take it slowly. I know it will be hard because you have lived your life as a human. I don't know if the world has been treating you well but I hope after knowing your true self, you are going to brace up and not let any soul look down on you.

My sunshine, you are not a human you are to be the queen of all werewolves, you are a special wolf, I made you not know your real self because that is the only way to protect you. I hope you complete what your father and I couldn't. You should keep this secret to yourself till you find your mate, only he can protect you from danger till you get to know how to use your powers. We love you our little sunshine.
"We are wishing you HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUNSHINE"

Selena fell in shock, not understanding a thing about the letter. She knows only about Daniels as her parents, then whose parents were written on the letter. Confused, Selena read the letter all over again. Then something got her attention, she finally knew what creature she was.

A special wolf, what sort of wolf is she? Then she thought, it would be better to wait for that figure to appear before her, or maybe she could go see Smith. She took out the bottle not knowing what it contained, she suddenly felt a force pull her to open it, but she instantly dropped it inside the box along with the letter. She closed the box and kept it where she saw it. She picked up her sandal with shaking hands and left the room.

She went down to the dining room, which was already filled with the wolves having their breakfast, when she got to the dining room all eyes turned to her including Damien. Some men stared at her like she was a piece of meat, this act of them disgusted her. She instantly regretted putting on the gown. She turned back and was about to leave, but Sophia ran to her.

"Selena why the hell are you leaving when you are here already?" She said when she went to her.
"Remember as the future Luna you need to be able to face the crowd and also act a little mean," Sophia whispered.

Selena thought about the letter, "she is to be the queen of all werewolves", so she needs to start learning it now. She walked back to the dining room along with Sophia, she noticed Fiona wasn't in her seat. She took the chair by the left side of her mate, opposite Alexandria.

Alexandria has been glaring at Selena from the moment she stepped into the dining room, she became envious of Selena, since she is a beautiful girl, she had been heartbroken ever since Damien introduced her as his mate. She has always had the dream to become his mate and queen of werewolves. But with the current situation, she is scared.

"Are you crazy? Why the hell would you sit there?" The jealous girl yelled out, making the members suddenly quiet, Luna had told them she would be the next Luna.
"Why is she sitting there a problem of yours?" Damien asked, irritated with Alexandria's act.

"Dam…" Alexandria was about to call his name but stopped when she heard a loud growl, his eyes turning to his icy dark blue colors. "Call me that one more time and you are going to be six feet under, trust me you do not want to get on my wrong side," Damien growled.

"Alpha, I am sorry about my daughter's behavior but I don't think it has gotten to you yelling at her in front of them," Alpha Santiago said calmly.

"Get out of my pack now," Damien spoke in a low eerie tone, the members knew the Alpha was at his peak at the moment, a single wrong step from them they would lose their life.

"Even if Santiago is an Alpha it won't take him a minute to get killed by Damien, he is the King after all.
"What? Did you just say what I heard you say?" Santiago asked, shocked.

"How dare you! Tell me that just because of this mere smut?"
"Call her that one more time, I promise you and your family won't live to see the next day," Damien growled.

The whole table was silent as a graveyard, even a pin drop can be heard when it falls. Selena was as shocked as the members, she couldn't say a thing. She stood from the chair and quickly ran out of the dining room. Damien was about to go after her but was stopped by his sister.
[Let her be alone for the moment, you remember she isn't used to this?] Sophia explained through the mind link.
[You sure she is going to be okay, I might hurt you if something happened to her.]

[She told me she wants to tour around the pack, guess she is trying to learn more about the pack before becoming the Luna, and besides what do you expect three members to think? ]
Damien took in a deep breath, and his tense body got a little relaxed, a bit.

"The next time she comes to the dining room, and any shit is utter from you guys making her leave, I can't promise that wolf will be alive." He warned dangerously. This is the second time his mate is leaving the dining room without eating, his will is furious about it. She is getting thinner and she doesn't take much.

[Get a guard to look after my mate and strange moves from anyone make me know about it.] Damien told Daren.

Daren still couldn't believe what happened within just the time he wasn't around, he noticed Damien now cares more about Selena. [Alright Alpha]

Selena left the room furious about what happened a few minutes ago. "Guess I need to teach that b**** a lesson!" she yelled out .

She thought about where to go for a few minutes before she finally decided to go to Smith, since he is a doctor he should be in the hospital pack. It was not that far from the pack.

Getting to the hospital, she was amazed at the beauty of the hospital building, she still couldn't believe the beautiful hospital belongs to werewolves. If someone had told them all these few months ago, she would laugh at the person's face telling the person he/she was saying thrash.

She walked into the hospital but didn't know where to go, so she began wandering around hoping she would find someone she knew, even if it was just an empty hope. She was walking around, still using the opportunity to see more of the hospital. Still fascinated by the beauty she has been seeing, she forgot to look where she was going until she mistakenly bumped into a hard chest.

"Watch where you are going smut!" An angry voice yelled bringing back the lost Selena's attention to him.
"Oh my! I am sorry for bumping into you, I was so…." Selena tried to clean the liquid which also poured on her body.
"Keep it smut! What will you do about my ruined shirt?" He yelled. Selena shifted back scared he might hurt her. "I never intentionally did it, you should also watch where you are going. I wasn't the one holding a blood bank!" Selena yelled back before she could control herself. The gown was a new one, how could it be ruined just the first time she wore it?

"You smut! How dare you talk to me that w…." He was blown away with a force and he hit his head on the wall. This got the attention of the crowd, they gasped in shock when they saw this. Selena, almost in shock, was about to run to him, but a hand pulled her back. She turned to see the person.

"Oh my Smith, he… he…"
[It's fine, Luna I did it.] Selena stares at his shock, she still marvels at how he can talk in her head.

"Get back to work! She is the Alpha guest so he needs to suffer the consequences!" Smith growled. The instant they heard she was the Alpha guest they all scurried away.

Not long after some men rushed toward the scene, they grabbed the man who was full with blood, "Take him to the Alpha…"

"No, he is also a victim, you know what Dam... I mean the Alpha can do to him.."

[How are you going to explain your dress to him, I don't want to be in any further trouble].
"Stop talking in my head! Let him go!" Selena yelled, making the guards back off immediately in shock. They don't know who she was, but the superiority that radiated from her was powerful, it is the same as that of the Alpha, they didn't know when it compelled them to bow in respect.

"If the Alpha knows about this, you will be in his shoe. Got it?"
"Ye… Yes… my lady," they were both confused about the title to give her.
"You may leave," Smith whispered, he knows her identity, he dare not do anything stupid if he wants to still be in this world.

"Thank you so much for forgiving me, I will make sure to repay you." The man she mistakenly hit thanked her and also left when he saw how Smith glared at him.
"Where can I clean my dress?"
"I will take you to the restroom," Smith replied walking ahead.

[So Luna, why are you here to see me?] Smith asked smiling.
"What gave you the idea I was here to see you?" Selena inquired.

[You know no one else here, and besides, I see you have wanted to meet me yesterday, ] Smith smiled when staring at her.

"Is she your mate? Oh my, I am hurt you didn't tell me about it," A new voice butt in before Selena could reply to Smith.
The smile on Smith's face dropped when he heard that, "She isn't my mate, stop making stupid assumptions," Smith snarled.

"Oh sorry about that don't get your ass so worked up," The girl replied, smiling crazily.
"My name is…." And she freezes, surprising Selena, Everywhere was quiet as a graveyard.
"Smith, what is…." She also stopped talking when she saw the person walking in her direction.
