DEREK AND SERENA

Damien gently left the door so as not to get any of their attention. He rushed out of the pack and ran to the hospital.

Walking into the building every single soul stopped. Some even forgot to breathe, it takes a long time for the Alpha to visit the hospital, but these days he seems to visit often. Which they dare not ask why.

"Welcome Alpha they all!" Their voices echoed around the space. The doctors ran toward him. "Alpha, we would like to know what is….."

"Get me Smith now!" Damien cut them off from any sort of cutesy. As if Smith knew he had been asked for, he walked out.

"There will be no need for that. Good day Alpha." He bowed. Damien walked out of the building with Smith tagging along, he doesn't know what is wrong but he hoped it wasn't something too serious. He couldn't bear to annoy him a bit.
When they got out of the building and out of people's reach he turned to Smith, giving him a blow in his stomach. Since he wasn't expecting it he couldn't avoid it.

"You knew about the whole truth all these years and kept shut!" Damien hollered walking toward Smith to pick him up, this time Smith was fast, he quickly disappeared and reappeared behind Damien.

"What truth are you talking about?"
"What truth? Is there another truth I don't know of?"

"Alpha…"
"You knew she wasn't my real mum?"
"Oh…." A punch stopped him from saying other things.

"Stop hurting me when you are annoyed, it isn't my fault, you trust them so much!"

"Trust them? My f**king life has been a lie. You knew Sophia betrayed me? What was it?" Damien's fang has grown out ready to slash him.

"Why is that my fault?" Smith asked, irritated. "She is yet to betray you, though she is meant to do so. But with the time I spent with her, she seems to like Selena. So I don't know if she would…"

"Guess the whole witch clan is going to betray us? I can't believe this!"
"You only knew she isn't your real mum?" He asked, Damien, shut his eyes in frustration. "So you also knew…. The hell! If you know this much then Melissa…"

"Melissa knows nothing, she is still the only one witch I trust, for now, she doesn't know her sister did all that."

"How do you expect me to believe that when the one I called my sister all my life betrayed me, just because I stopped her from seeing Selena…"

"So you are going to tell Selena the truth."
"What truth?" They both turned toward the voice. Selena walked toward them.
"We are just talking about the stuff going on in the pack," Damien said.
"Okay, so what are you doing here? You promised to let me hang out with Smith today." Selena answered.
[I need you] Damien whispered through the mind link. Selena sensed the sadness in her mate's voice and decided not to question him.

"Smith I would come here tomorrow so you can teach me more, you would also meet my wolf soon okay? Let Kerry know about it." Selena told Smith. She bid him bye and turned to where Damien was standing but he was no longer there.

"He needs you more than anyone else," Smith told his sister and patted her shoulder leaving. When Smith left, Selena turned toward the direction where she could still perceive Damien's scent, she followed the smell and saw Damien sitting under a tree

"Damien?" She called out to her mate when she saw him sitting dejectedly. She has seen him sad sometimes but not this much. She gently walked closer to him.

"Dam, is there something bothering you?" She asked calmly when she sat closer to him.
"Let's run together,"
"What? I can't run."
"I meant our wolves, it's nighttime already and it would also be a great opportunity for our wolves to get to know one another."

Serena's tail wagged when she heard what Damien asked for. [Yippee! I am going to see my mate today, yay!] Serena squeals excitedly.

"Well, you will need to take off your dress to avoid it getting ripped.
"What? I can't strip my clothes off right here!"
"Why? I am the only one present here."
"That's the reason why I can't take off my clothes here," Selena replied.
"There is nowhere else you can change your dress then." Damien let out a smile watching his mate's face drop.
"Fine, I will excuse you." He said again and left her standing there.
[I can't believe even after enjoying yourself the previous night you are still…]

[Don't you dare complete it, ] Selena let out and removed her dress remaining just her bra and panties then she shifted into her wolf form. Not long Damien in his big grey wolf marched forward toward where his mate was. Damien and Derek were mesmerized by the beauty of their mate's wolf. She lunges toward Derek using a snout to nuzzle under his chin with her tail wagging very fast. She has always wanted to be this close ever since she felt the mate bond. Derek was pleased with his mate's act, he raised his mate wolf and lick her face. Serena's tail continued to wag.

"She is such a b*tch." Selena thought.
"That's bad love," Damien replied.

They both played around for some minutes before Derek nudged his head forward telling them to run. Serena barks merrily marching forward. Derek allows her to run some distance before he joins. They both run for more than thirty minutes barking happily at one another like they have no worries till they get to a very beautiful waterfall. They were both tired of playing more so Derek shifted into his human form. Selena stared at him disappointed because she couldn't shift since she would be stark naked.

[I am so envious of you, why can't I also change with my clothes still on?] Selena asked sadly.

"Sorry about that but it was the moon goddess' wish." Damien
Damien pulled off his shirt revealing his abs and dropped it to the ground.

[Oh my, I feel like making those my breakfast.]

[You are such slut.] Serena scoffed [Like you are innocent,] Damien pretended not to hear their bickering.
"I am not going to look at you even if I have seen it all." Damien mocked and turned with his back facing Selena.

A cracking sound was heard and Selena shifted to her human form naked, she quickly changed into the shirt given to her by Damien. When she was done she looked up to see Damien was no longer there but sitting on the Cliff. Selena thanked her stars for having a small stature because the shirt looked like a gown for her when she put it on.

Selena gasps and runs toward him. "What are you doing there? It's dangerous to sit right there!" Selena yelled, earning a chuckle from him.

"Calm down Flower, this is my favorite place, nothing wrong will happen to you," Damien assured his mate.
"Hell no, I am not sitting there with you." Selena disagreed.
Damien, knowing his mate meant what she just said, stood from the side of the cliff and sat on the ground far from the cliff.

"What about this…"
"Yeah, I am comfortable with this place." Selena cut him from completing his statement.

He pulled her into a hug, sniffing her hair and licking the place he marked her again. Selena shuddered under his arms.
"I wanna be your baby today, can you comfort me?" Damien asked with a heavy heart.

"Of course, you can,* Selena patted his broad back with her small hands."
"She's not my mum," Selena thought she heard wrong so she asked again to be sure of what he just said.

"I heard their conversation." Damien scoffed. "That explains why Derek has never had any sort of connection with her."

"So you are saying, oh my Goodness!" Selena couldn't believe what she just heard from Damien.

"I have always thought all the time she use to torture me, where all for me to become a good son. Now I know it was all to release her anger on me. I have been living with the beast when I thought there were other beasts out there."
Selena tightens the hug and continues patting his back, "it's gonna be okay Damien." Selena whispered.

"I will make sure she pays for it." He said again, he couldn't bring his heart to tell his mate Sophia is no longer someone they could trust.

"Woah! What a great reunion!" They heard a familiar voice say behind them. Damien turned to them to where he heard the voice there stood. Naferes along with swarms of vampires with Selena's foster parent in front of them.
