THE PUNISHMENT

I just completed my work for the day, it wasn't easy but I was able to complete the task given to me. I checked the time and it says nine pm.
I was so exhausted but I couldn't sleep without taking my bath. Taking one of the comfy clothes in the closet I went into the bathroom and took off my current clothes.
I checked the place I was hit when training with the gamma and noticed it was already forming a bruise. I wipe off my tears. I feel like disappearing from this world.
After my bath, I dressed up and went to the bed straight without eating. I was already dozing off when I heard my door fly open. I stood up in fright and saw it was the Alpha who came in.
"And who the hell told you that you can have your sleep now when you haven't tidied up my room?" He boomed. Which made me scramble out of the bed.
"I am sorry Alpha I wasn't told to clean it up today," I said timidly.
"Wow, you are just like them. You guys are full of lies and you just proved me to be right about your species.
"I promise I am saying the truth," I said almost crying now.
"Are you saying that Gina never told you to clean my room," He said again which rendered me speechless.
"I always warn you to reply to me when I ask a question didn't I?" He growled. Which made me jump backward in fright.
"I am sorry," I whispered I was damn scared right now.
"How about you say it in front of her that he didn't tell you," he said again making Gina come in.
"Heard you didn't tell her to clean my room," He asked.
"I told her Alpha I even made it super clear she needs to clean your room." She said smirking at me when his attention wasn't on her anymore. I was shocked. I thought I was over this but I wasn't this was just the beginning of my suffering.
"Cat got your tongue." He said with an irritated tone.
"I am sorry Alpha I will go clean it now," I mumbled.
"Gina for this I want you to double her work tomorrow." He said leaving the room. When I was sure he left I glared at Gina.
"For goodness sake, you only told me to clean the Alpha room not the day." I let out.
"That's should be a punishment for you, I want you to know that no matter what you do, you don't and won't ever belong here." She said leaving.
"I never want to belong here in the first place," I mumbled.
I have been roaming around this house for some time now but couldn't find the Alpha's room. Who the hell just ask you to clean his room and not even tell him where to find it. I should have asked around but I couldn't. I don't want to meet with another Gina again.
"Selena, is there any problem?" I turned and saw Jane was the one who asked the question.
"Well I don't know the Alpha room, please can you help me with it?" I begged.
"You are going to the Alpha room this night?" She asked surprised.
"Yes, I need to clean it I forgot to do so during the day," I explained praying she doesn't ask more questions
"You look tired Selena, you just got discharged today and you are yet to be healed. You should be resting now." She said again.
"Please can you just give me the description of his room? I ask getting anxious.
"Fine his room is the one on the top floor are you sure he asked you to come to clean up his room?" She asked again.
"Yes, he is," I answered wanting to cry now are questions are getting too much.
"Sorry for much questions I was just surprised he doesn't allow people to his room except for his sister, my mate, Mrs. Aaron, and his Beta. So I was kind of surprised he want you to clean his room." She clarified.
"Fine I would leave now," I said smiling and running up the stairs. Which wasn't easy since it was on the sixth floor.
I finally got to his floor exhausted from climbing the stairs. I called his floor because it only has one big giant door with the wall having different kinds of art drawn on it,
Did I mention I love drawing? I love drawings so much, I learned it from my grandma before she passed away. Though I wasn't able to draw well then. But when she died I continued to practice it because it makes me feel like she is still with me. I also draw to clear my mind from things happening in the world.
I was so engrossed looking at the beautiful art drawn on the wall that I didn't notice someone was behind me. Until I heard someone clear his throat.
"What are you doing here?" I turned back to see it was the same guy I saw with the Alpha the night I was kidnapped. Heard he is the Beta.
"To clean the Alpha's room." Picking up the things I brought to clean his room.
Come do that tomorrow you must be tired, I saw you haven't rested much since you got discharged." He said.
"It's fine I should go clean it now if I don't want much trouble," I said going to his door. But was stopped when the Beta said the trouble is when I go inside his room now. It would be better if I leave. "But he asked me to come to clean it now," I said confused.
"Just go to your room and come do it tomorrow when he isn't in his room I don't think he is in a good mood now. But if you think doing it now is the best you can go in." He said and left. Leaving me confused about what I am to do. I went to his door and stood there for some time I wanted to knock but thought about what the beta just said.
"Maybe I should just leave, "I thought and left his floor going to my room.

"Selena! Wake up," I felt someone shaking me. But, I didn't feel like standing up my whole body was on fire it was hurting badly. I heard the sound of my room door bursting open, I wanted to check what was happening but couldn't open my eyes.
"You can't just come in that way Damien she is still asleep," I heard a familiar voice saying. Not long I felt something pour over my body which made me jolt out of the bed nearly falling.
"Why didn't you clean my room up yesterday?" He yelled. "I am sorry I....."
"Shut your mouth you tramp!" He boomed again. "Damien that's too harsh she isn't even well," I hold her signaling for her to stop talking so he doesn't get mad at her.
"Get out," he said in just a breath. Sophie stand her ground but he glared at her again which kind of made her bow and left just the both of us in the room.
"I have forgiven you enough for disrespecting me I won't let this go." He said coming closer. "I wanted to come but the beta told me it would be better if I leave that you weren't in a good mood," I said with tears dropping from my eyes. I don't think I will ever be used to him talking at me.
"You will be the only one to cook and clean the dishes today along with cleaning my room immediately after your training." He informed me expecting me to give a reply but I just nodded my head. He breathes in and out then leave the room slamming my door hard. When I was sure he left I fell to the ground in shock and begin crying. I heard my door open again but didn't lookup. I felt someone hug me trying to make me stop crying. But that didn't stop me.
"Selena, it's okay I am sorry he is treating you that way I will talk to him about that." She whispered.
"Sophie you won't do anything okay? You need to promise me." I said wiping my tears. "But..." She tried to say but I cut her off "You promise me right?" I ask with hope-filled eyes. "Fine" She grumbled out.
"Thank you," I said checking the time I quickly jumped up rushing towards the bathroom.
"What is wrong Selena?" She asked surprised by the way I jumped up.
"I am late for training," I said rushing into the bathroom not giving her any chance to say anything. I don't feel too well my body is burning badly but I dare not miss this training if I don't want to have any issues with the Alpha. Maybe if I have my bath it is going to reduce. But, it became worse after I had my bath.
I was about to reach for my clothes when I remember that I didn't bring in my clothes. Oh, my goodness this isn't good. I call out to Sophie but no one was answering. She must have left my room. I went out with my body wrapped with the towel in the bathroom still shaking badly, I managed to drag myself to the closet but felt dizzy I saw someone come into my room screaming out and asking what happened to my body. Oh no someone saw my scar I wanted to say something but couldn't I saw the person saying something but didn't hear anything suddenly everything went black.......
