YOU ARE NOT SAFE

"What just happened?" I asked no one in particular. I quickly climbed up the stairs running back to where I just came from, I busted into the old man's room, which I still don't know.
The two men were shocked by the way I ran into their room.
"What the f**k?" He yelled pretty sure you know who.
"I… I… walked down the stairs and saw a terrifying strange figure down there... And please stop using curse words, it's getting too much." I couldn't help but say. I noticed I am now using it often.
"What figure are you talking about?" The old man asked.
"I don't know, it appeared to me last night and now, I am getting scared," I say, almost crying now.
The Alpha and old man stare at themselves, comprised before looking at me now.
"I don't know the way to explain this Luna, but I think the things happening to you are because of the magic she used in protecting you." The old man announced.
Not long the door opened and some men came in bowing to the Damien
"Escort her back to her room," Damien ordered the men.
"I don't want to go to my room, I want to check on Sophie," I declined Damien's order. He breathed in harshly trying to calm himself before saying anything but he failed.
"Sophie is fine and it will be best if you go to your room now and stop defying me," he growled. I wanted to say something but Zyres stopped me from talking, shaking his head, giving the eyes not to say anything.
I glared at the Alpha one more time before reaching out to the doorknob.
"Zyres save you this time, the next you look up at me that way I will make you suffer and beg with no eyes." He said in a very cold terrifying voice making me tremble in fear.
I quickly walk out of the room with the guards behind me.
"You are to go this way and not the other way," one of the men pointed to another that explained why I was lost.
I followed them quietly till I got to my room, I note every single place In case I need it for future purposes. When they were sure I was safe in my room they turn back to the direction we were just coming from.
I went into the bathroom and have my bath changing into a turtleneck top with a denim fit jeans, I let my hair down. Most of the dresses Sophie got for me were turtlenecks and hoodies. She said I dress like a clown and she doesn't want that anymore so she got me dresses that were able to cover my scars, I miss her a lot, it felt like a month without her. I hope she is fine.
I peeked outside my room when I was sure no one was watching me. I tiptoed out of my room wanting to go to Jane's clinic, so I could ask about Sophie since it was just two blocks away from the pack.
But my whole plan and day were ruined when I met with Gina in the living room I turned from her wanting to avoid her. But, it was futile as she had already seen me.
"You b**** where the f*** Do you think you're going? You have been missing your work lately by going to the hospital every single day." She screeched.
" The Alpha stopped me from doing the laundry and the dishes," I said, having a not-so-happy smile on my face. But the witch won't let me be.
"Selena the wolf less wolf don't you think is better you help to do some dishes than to sit in your room and eat food made by us?" she screamed out getting the attention of all the members who were in the kitchen, they started whispering agreeing with what she said.
"Yeah Gina I think you are right, she can't just stay in the room and keep on eating food she didn't prepare when she doesn't have a rank in the pack." Another lady screamed out, I recalled her to be the girl who slapped me for mistakenly pouring dirty water on her.
I bowed my head in embarrassment and walked down to the kitchen sink to do the dishes.
"That's more like it," Gina snorted, making everyone turn back to their businesses.
Few hours later I was done with the dishes and she told me to help prepare meals.
Since she's the leader here and no one opposed her not like they would and I wasn't holding a title. I couldn't go against her order. I helped in making the meals scratch that y prepared most of it with them commenting badly on how I use the utensils. It was kind of hard to make their type of food since their food was different frothathe humans.
After much embarrassment, I was finally done with the food, today is the day the whole pack members have their dinner together. So there were many meals prepared. I helped in arranging the meals on the dining table.
Alpha's whole food was different from the rest of the members and his plates were also different. Done with arranging the food I ran to my room not waiting for any order from the witch.
I was about to go inside my room reaching for the doorknob and the beta voice stopped me.
"The next time the Alpha tells you to go home make sure you are in your room." He said and turned walking back to where I came, how the hell did he even get here without me knowing?
"What do you mean by I shouldn't defy him when he doesn't even care about my existence?" I said annoyed. Making him stop walking and turn back to me.
"The Alpha hates people who go against him, you have just been lucky because you are his mate, let me remind you he doesn't like you much and it won't take him a minute to finish you. He told you already the reason why he is still keeping you so instead of you keeping annoying him it would be better if you do what he wants. I just feel like letting me know it's your choice." He said.
"How is Sophie? I haven't seen her all day and it's killing me." I asked even though I was scared of what he just told me.
"She's fine, think more about yourself, you are not safe." He said and left, not looking back once leaving me speechless.
I went into my room confused and sad. Sad because I wasn't able to see Sophie today confused because of what the beta just said. I went to have my bath and changed into the PJs Sophie bought for me, my stomach grumbling reminding me I haven't taken anything since morning.
I decided to go to bed that way to avoid any sort of embarrassment from the pack members again.
Lying on my bed reminiscing what the beta said when I heard a commotion from the outside. I wanted to stand from the bed to go check but my door was busted open making me scurry out of the bed shocked by what just happened.
"That's the traitor, get her now!" Gina yelled, pointing at me leaving me confused about what the heck was going on.
"Two well-built men rushed to me and dragged me out of the bed roughly.
"Why are you guys doing this? I don't understand what is happening." The man didn't even look at me once they just dragged me out of the room. Then Gina stopped them and came close to me giving a very loud slap making me fall to the ground. She squats so she is also on the same level as me.
"I told you I would finish you off without doing much. Enjoy your days in the dungeon." She said with a mocking smile.
The men dragged me out of the room without another word. Few seconds later we got to a dark basement, it reeked of a rotten smell making me nauseous, I felt like throwing up. The men were not even helping. We walked a little farther inside the dark basement.
I was thrown roughly into a cell having
different types of torture equipment getting me scared I didn't know I was already crying until I felt my whole PJs were wet.
The cell smelled bad, I stepped on something and looked down only to see a dead body with maggots coming out of it, I screamed out loud throwing out every single thing in my tummy. The men screamed at me to keep shut which I couldn't.
"What the hell is my offense? Why are you guys doing this to me?" I yelled out, not able to take it anymore.
"Tell that to the Alpha, when he comes you will explain to him why you wanted to kill him." One of the men said, making me speechless.
Kill him, what was he talking about?
