THE ANNOUNCEMENT

Selena woke up the next morning feeling sore. She thought about how they spend the night together in their hands having different sorts of sex styles, she smiled to herself thinking about it. She enjoyed every bit of what they had the previous night.

She also recalled the last word Damien said before she slept off.
"Could he mean that word?" She asked herself.
[We can't say, maybe after we ask about it.] Serena replied.

[Talking about mate, I can't feel him anywhere near.] Serena said.

Selena stretched her hands forward to touch the side of the bed where Damien was supposed to be but she found it empty. This made her disappointed.
Selena's happy face turned sad that instant she got up from the bed placing her leg on the ground. She stared at the bedspread where her blood could be found.

[Guess I thought too much,] Selena thought.
[Let's not think negatively, he might have an important meeting to attend.] Serena tried to assure Selena.
[I will make myself believe that then.] Selena replied sadly. Just then the door opened and Damien walked in looking all gracious in his white Sweatpant and T shirt.

"What are you doing? I was expecting you to still be asleep, since you were exhausted."

Selena's heartbeat when he said so.
[You really do care for us mate, He really does care for us] Serena kept repeating.
[It's okay now,] Selena said, making Damien stare at her.
"I would like to know what's going on in your head," Damien said.

"I just heard you in my head, how did you do that?" Selena asked curiously.

Damien strolled toward his mate who was just wrapped in the bed cover, he was pretty sure she hadn't looked down to what she was putting on and would freak out if he told her so he decided not to let her know.

He sat on the bed with her, taking both hands and kissing them. "We are bonded together now, we are both one. So you will be able to hear my thoughts and I will be able to do the same with you." Damien explained.
"What?"
"I love you," Damien confessed, making Selena stare at him with her eyes wide in shock.
"You don't have to force yourself to give me a reply, you can do so anytime you are sure you feel like answering."

Selena couldn't hold her tears any longer, with tears rushing out of her eyes, she hugged him tightly. "Flower, did I do anything wrong? I am so…."

"I love you too." Damien went still for some time when he heard her confession, yes he confessed to her first but he never in his wildest dream thought she would accept his love. He had hurt her a lot when she just came to the park, even without knowing her past he judged her wrongly and always made her look weak.

"I have never for once thought I would ever be loved by someone." Selena cried out hugging Damien tightly. Damien and his wolf were both pleased with their mate's words. Damien was ready to spoil his mate with love and material things. He wasn't in her past to protect her from the bad people but he would always be in her future to make her feel the best love anyone has ever had.

After a few seconds of hugging as if she recalled something she released Damien and glared at him. "Am I in trouble?" Damien asked. He knows anytime she casts him this gaze it means she is mad at him.

"Where were you? I thought you left after…."

"Flower, how could you think that? I will never in my whole life do that to you, I had an important meeting to attend and I also thought you won't be awake till I am back. So I took the risk." Damien cupped her face in his hands, " You are the best thing that has happened in my bored and lonely life. I can never do that to you, we are going to fight this together and win it."

He pulled her in for a kiss, it was a soft, tender, reassuring, and slow kiss. Since she still doesn't know what to do, she was nervous, but then he put his hand on the back of her head, and he reassuringly stroked her hair, then he bit her lower lips like it was his favorite meal. Selena let out a moan which kind of made his member hard down there. He quickly released her. He knew she was still sore and down there since it was her first. He doesn't feel like hurting her again, he could still recall her tears and how she told him it hurt.

"I will go make your bathtub, you look kind of tired so you need to eat and take your medication." Damien stood from the bed and walked toward the bathroom not looking back to see how confused his mate is.

"It's ready Flo…," Damien stopped talking when he saw his mate already sleeping off, she coiled on the bed with the best spread still around her body. Damien understood she was still exhausted.

He strolled toward the bed and sat on the bed, he stroked her hair gently admiring the beauty before him. He was so lost staring at her till he was disrupted by his sister.
[The hell Damien! When am I going to see Selena? I missed her a lot] Selena grumbled.
Actually, she has been disturbing him to let her best friend ever since she heard she got discharged from the hospital.

[When she is healthy, now stop disturbing me. I am in the middle of something important.] Damien gave a low growl, this kind of made Selena starred on the bed.

"Sleep is over now. Flower, you need to take breakfast and it's almost time…."

"Time for what?" Selena's eyes were not fully open, her ginger red spread on the cushion like that of a bed nest. "Time for breakfast," he answered.

"You want me to call Soph…?" In an instant Selena was up, one person she won't want to come to wake her up or meet her this way is Sophia. She would pester her all about the previous night and she wouldn't want that.

"I am up," Selena slurred. Damien smiled at his mate's silly act she looks so cute. Damien decided it would be best to carry her to the bathroom himself if he doesn't want to waste more time.

He picks her up in bridal style making her enclose her both hands on his neck. She smiled with her eyes still closed and snuggled into him, making her face strut on his chest. She breathed in his scent and gave another beautiful smile making Damien pleased.

Getting into the bathroom he dropped her into the bathtub with the bedspread still around her. Selena's eyes widened again when she felt him removing the bedspread from her body. "What are you doing?"

"Taking off this," he said and was finally able to remove it, Selena used both hands to cover her breast glaring at her mate.

"What?.... You won't take your bath in that, would you?" Damien smirked when he saw her face flushed crimson red. He moves close to her face, making Selena close her eyes tight. He smiled again when he saw her were closed and her lip also closed tight. Then he moved his head to the side of her neck, close to her ears, and whispered, "I am still wondering why you are closing that when I saw it all." Selen gasped when she heard what he said.
"Hey!"
"You never told me you want me to kiss you? Should I do it now and spend another hour worshipping your body?" Selena pu$$y twitch when he said that, it suddenly feels hot in the bathroom her whole cheek was red as a tomato.

[Oh my, please do] Serena whispered.
[Hey! Have you no shame?] Selena asked with an eye roll.

"You know I can hear that right?"
"You should leave now so I will take my bath."
"That hurt a bit," Damien said, holding his heart and feigning a sad face.
"That is not working now leave…" Selena pushed him away from her….

"Why are you taking me to the dinner table?" Selena asked again for the tenth time.
Damien was getting sick of her always getting scared when she wanted to go to the dining. She is the Luna of the pack, he wants her to be free and do anything she wants.

He planned on making the whole pack know their Luna and give her the respect she deserves. But he didn't tell her because he knew she would not let him do so.

"Dam…" she stopped talking when they came across Damien's mum who was also going to the dining table.

"Good morning," Selena whispered.

"I will be delighted if you tell me what the heck is good in the morning." Fiona snarled at Selena who looked down disappointed.
She wanted Fiona to like her not hate her, she still couldn't bear the hatred of someone hating her. Thinking about what she thought about her brother who she killed, she has buckled it up somewhere and doesn't want to think of it. But it keeps coming back to her mind, how could she be so heartless to kill her brother?

"Flower?" Damien called for the third time, he noticed she blanked often every she was brought back to the park. He didn't want to force her to tell him what she encountered in the human world. He wanted her to be comfortable and trust him enough to bring up the topic herself and tell him. He doesn't know when she would but with their current relationship, he hopes it wouldn't take long.

"Flower?" He called again, this time he was able to get her attention. "Don't think about my mum much, I will talk to her okay?" Damien assured her, she nodded her head and followed Damien lost minded not knowing where they were going.

"Good morning Alpha!" The whole pack's voice echoed. This startled Selena, bringing her attention back to where she was. Her eyes widened when she saw where they were. Damien had tricked her, they were not going to the dining but to the field.
A lot of people before her, some looking confused, some looking annoyed, some were anticipating what the Alpha was about to say, while some looked unbothered, they were just there because they couldn't ignore the Alpha's command.

Selena hid behind Damien instantly, she hasn't stood before the crowd in a long time, the last time she did was when she was told to speak in front of the whole school. She got frightened and forgot what to say with the number of students she saw and the whole school laughed at her, that was when the students started bullying her. Her parents were also not good to her so it took a toll on her.

Damien tried to pull her out but she pleaded for him not to do so.
[Selena you need to keep your head high, it's time the whole pack knows who you are. I promise to be of great help.]

[Damien I am scared] she answer truthfully
[Don't be, I am here with you.] With that Selena finally showed herself to the crowd, she was so nervous that she couldn't help but look down at her sandals as if something was interesting. She holds Damien's hands tightly as if her life depends on them.

Murmurs erupted when they saw the few gestures that went between their Alpha and the unknown girl. They could perceive her scent, and also her wolf. They could also perceive their Alpha scent from her. But they were not aware of what their relationships were.

When Damien was sure that Selena wasn't as nervous as the first time, he cleared his throat, making the whole crowd silent like a graveyard.

"I want you all to meet my mate and your new Luna."
