THE TRIP

"Sophie, don't you think that is too vicious of him?" We were in my room now, after what had happened in the dining hall I was too scared to go back to his room. I still haven't gotten over him killing more than ten people all at once because I was thrown into the dungeon.
"Selena, he did that to protect you, remember we are wolves and not humans, we have our rules. And besides Damien is the type who hates someone questioning his authority. For goodness sake, they know what he is capable of and they still defy him." She walked closer to me but I shifted back scared, she also stopped coming close.
"I can't believe even after staying with us for months, you still believe I am gonna hurt you," she whispered heartbrokenly.
"That's how he is going to live, he can't be too nice, else he might be killed. He has a lot of enemies, he is the king of all packs. A lot of Alphas want his position. Tell me, Selena, the moment he becomes too nice and lets his guard down, what do you think will happen to him?" She breathed in calmly and started again.
"Why do you think people look down on you? Why do you think Damien said you are too weak for him? Why do you think even when Andria just came this morning she is already trying to take your position?" She was near me now. I began whimpering, she has never been this mad at me.
"You want me to tell you the answer? Because you are too soft hearted, you always show the weak side of yourself the moment you meet someone, you are not boastful of yourself, you let people walk over you easily. F**k! You are even too slow when you eat. Do you still want me to tell you more?" She yelled again.
Every single thing she just said is a harsh bitter truth, but damn she is too harsh with the way she says it.
"I hope you can think carefully and choose wisely." She let out and left my room slamming the door hard.
I sat on the ground crying, letting all the things Sophie said sink in. It hurt a lot.
"What's wrong?" I felt a familiar scent and sparks close to me. How did he even get into the room? " I have been knocking for some time but I got no reply. So I let myself in." He said with a shrugging shoulder.
"I am fine," I replied as I quickly stood up, and wiped off my tears, moving away from him. He didn't seem convinced with my answer but didn't push the topic.
"I came here to tell you…," I shifted back again when I saw the way he was still walking closer to me.
He scoffed as he stopped walking, understanding I was trying to maintain my distance from him. "I thought we passed this stage?" He was infuriated.
He started walking again with me still moving back till my leg hit the bed since I couldn't retain my steps and got knocked down to the bed. He smirked and also lay on me, he rested his head on my shoulder sniffing in my hair. I closed my eyes tight, my heart beating very fast. Few seconds later I felt no one on me again. I opened my eyes to see him snigger at me.
"Calm down flower, I won't do any sort of crazy things with you now. You look more pretty without those scars." He made me tense when I heard what he said.
"Talking about the scars, how the f**k did you get them?" He asked, with his eyes suddenly turning in an icy blue which made me squirm. I couldn't tell anyone about what happened to me when I was still living with my parent and him I
I know what he is capable of doing If he gets a glimpse of what happened to me.
I also don't want to relinquish the little friends I had when I got to this pack.
"I don't feel like talking about it," I answered truthfully. He cast long stares at me, trying to still fetch some truth out from me. I cut the stare looking down, I noticed he has the kind of aurora of controlling spirit around him.
"Fine, when you fully trust me you can confide in me." He muttered.
"I am needed in another pack, their girls have been missing." He said again, making me glance at him stunned by what he just said, he has never told me his whereabouts ever since I got to this pack.
"Since you want me to prove to you if I truly meant everything I said last night. This should… you know kinda.." he said halfway looking down embarrassed. It made me smile when he did that. I noticed he was being careful with every word he picked when he communicated with me.
"For how many days?" I asked curiously. "Three days, Sophie is also going with me" he muttered. Making me whip my head up.
"What!" I yelled.
"She said she wants to come with me," he answered. I almost cried with the news he just broke to me. Is Sophie that mad at me that she thinks leaving only me here would be a nice payback.
"Don't get too worried, the gamma, Jane, and Andria, they will take good care of you." He said again trying to make me calm. But it wasn't helping, I am damn scared of Andria. I don't like being in this pack with her.
"Flower, trust me she is going to be of great help to you, she might be snappy or something but she won't hurt you." He added again when he saw how sad I was with his news.
"Can I come with you guys?" I asked, surprising him. I am also surprised with my outburst.
"Flower, you need to be taught a lot of things, you don't even know much about the pack. You need to meet up with the criteria of being a Luna, not just going around wherever Sophie goes." He explained. I looked down not knowing what else to say.
Though I don't know much about this Luna stuff, I still want to be with him despite what he did to me.
"Fine, I will stay and learn with Andria," I replied, still disappointed. "That's a good choice Flower," he said, smiling briskly.
"When are you leaving?" I asked again, surprising myself the second time. The man I was scared of a few minutes ago, is the same man I am unhappy with who is going on a trip.
"We will leave this night flower," he replied as he sat with me. "Promise you are going to eat well and take your medication." I nod my head in agreement, making him give me a genuine smile.

"Wake up you sleepy brat," I heard a female scream and in the next moment, I felt something wet pour on me making me scramble out of the bed in panic.
"What the hell was…" I was cut off with a slap on my face. I look up to see Andria glaring hard at me.
"Damien must have spoiled you so much that all you do is sleep your whole day out and eat. Meet me downstairs in three minutes, I would make you know the right thing to do at the right time." She said, clicking her tongue while walking out.
It's dawned on me that these three days are gonna be hell for me.
