HER ARRIVAL 2

Selena was still consoling Sophia when the door suddenly burst open, then a woman with a very bright light surrounding her walks in. Selena screamed and jumped on the bed behind the terrified Sophia.

She wasn't scared of the intruder, she was terrified because the intruder was her mum, who they didn't expect to come, this morning. Not only that, with the light surrounding her, it shows she is furious.

"Mum?" Sophia called shockingly, making Selena stunned. "She is your mum?" Selena whispered, but the lady heard what she said.
"And who might this guest be?" The lady asked pretending not to know who she is.

"She is Damien's mate," Sophia replied, holding Selene protectively. She was a little scared of what her mother could do to Selena.
"Hmm, make this be the last time you say such a thing again." She whispered, Selena, knowing what her mum was about to do quickly used her spell in blocking her.

"Trust me that spell won't work on me," Selena growled, using her Alpha tone, which surprisingly worked on her mum.

"What sort of power is that?" She asked with her eyes wide agape. But felt another presence beside her. She look towards the person .

"Oh look who we have here," she said, giving him a malicious smile.

"Mum?"
"Thank goodness you still recall I am your mum," she answered moving a bit from where she was standing.

Damien look towards his mate who was hiding behind Sophia, "Mum, how come you didn't notify us before your arrival?"

"Do I need to notify you before I arrive in my pack?"
"I needed to ask mum, not only you didn't notify us but also came into my room scaring my mate." A force pushed him away, making him hit his back on the wall. A gasp could be heard from Selena as she watched the event that unfold before her.

"This is exactly what I am saying! You are becoming soft now, that you don't know how you are being attacked. I gave you a test and you failed it." She yelled, walking toward her son raising him with her powers.

"You tested me? What do you mean by that?" Damien asked a little confused.
"You want me to say it?"
"Don't tell me, you are behind the vampire breaking the boundary?" Damien growled and his eyes color changed. But it didn't scare his mum a bit. She has been his mum ever since she was a kid, in fact, he took his anger after her.

"You might be the Alpha King, but I am still your mother, so don't you dare use that tone for me." She roared. All the glasses broke the moment my she screamed, making Selena yelp. The next thing she knows she was hugging Damien terrified. She didn't know how her legs took her to Damien, but she knows being in his arms would be a little safe for her.
Damien reciprocated her embrace, trying to make her relax.

This made her scoff and walked out of the room. "Meet me in my room when you are done with your love thrash] she mind linked him

When Selena knew she was out of sight, she disengaged from the hug "Damien, are you hurt anywhere?" Selena asked, checking if he had any wounds. This innocent act of his mate, made him crack a little.

"I am fine, flower. There is nothing wrong with me, I should be the one asking if you are okay?" Damien asked and lifted her face to look at him.

"I am fine, thanks to Sophie." He has constantly wondered why she called his sister Sophie instead of Sophia. But he didn't ask since his sister didn't quibble about it.

"Your mum doesn't like me right?" Selena asked, playing with the hem of the shirt he was wearing, unknown to her.

"She isn't the type that gets used to guests much, but with time she will warm up to you." Damien convinces the scared girl even though he knows it would be hard before his mum accepts her.

"So you are also like her?" She whispered. Damien heard and understood what she was whispering about. So he thinks it would be better not to comment on what she just said.

"Flower, I need to go meet her. She came unexpectedly and there are some.."

[Waiting for you] Damien heard his mum say it again before he could complete his word.
Knowing she isn't the patient type and it would be better to go meet her now. "Flower, I will talk with you later, just please stay with Sophia." Selena nodded her head.
He gave Sophia a look, [Stay with her,] he said and left.

"Sophie, is your mum that harsh? She is not going to harm him right? She seems to be very powerful."

"No mother would hear their child," Sophia replied sitting on the bed. "Not all though," Selena mumbled. But with Sophie being a powerful creature she heard what she said. Sophia suddenly became curious, when she heard what Selena said.

"What did you say?" She asked, to know if she was going to repeat what she said.
"It's nothing," Selena quickly shook her head. Sophie thought it would be nice for her to let the girl be.

"Selena, I think we should know more about your power. We can't keep postponing it. Mum might do something funny if she doesn't like you."

"What?" Selena inquired, she then recalled what the beautiful woman had told her. Does this mean she would make Damien mark Alexandria?

"Sophie, does your mum like Alexandria?"
"Yeah, she does a…." Sophia stared at Selena weirdly. "Why did you ask that?" Sophia asked.
"Sophie, I need to learn every single thing about being a Luna and also finding out who the hell I am," Selena said.
"Why did you suddenly think?..."
"The woman told me if I don't find who I am, Alexandria and Damien might get mated together, I can't let that happen, I can't go.." Selena quickly stopped talking, when she knew she had suddenly said too much.

"What happened to the, you won't become soft anymore?" Fiona yelled as Damien got into her room.

"You know this same thing happened with the late king, and that made us lose their race for life. Do you want ours to be gone also? There are other creatures out there who don't want you to be king."

"She is my mate, so I need to be soft with her. I am pretty sure you knew how I treated her at first because she is human,"

"She isn't a human," Fiona cut him off. "She is too weak for you, she has lived in the human world all her life," she said again.

"Yes mum, I know all this, and I still want to be with her. I will…"

"Being soft has made you not know how the vampires came into this pack and also how they disappeared. This isn't about the love you have for your mate anymore. You should mark Alexandria as yours and not love her so you can concentrate more on the pack." She bellowed.

"Don't you get it, mum, I live the life you instill into me and I finally discovered I don't want my kids to have that kind life. And again I can't believe you help the vampires pass through the boundary." He yelled back at her.

"I have my reasons for doing so,"
"Reason, more like you wanted them to take Selena with them,"

"I can not believe you still seem to be blind by this mate stuff, that you have become lovesick. Anyways I already talked with Alpha Santiago, you need to reject your mate soon and mark Alexandria to be your mate. She is the suitable Luna for this pack. And it's time you are also coordinated to be king and move to the palace.

"What? You did all this without me knowing anything? I won't acc…"

"It will be held in two days and nothing is stopping it." She boomed.
