Da… Dam... Dam," she couldn't call his name, he looked so damn cold, everyone bowed as he walked toward her gracefully. Okay, scratch that, Damien's face was as cold as ice. When he saw her,

He rushed to her and in the next moment Smith's leg was no more on the ground, Damien lifted him by his neck choking him.

"What the hell Damien? Let him go!" Selena cried out. The girl beside Smith gasped when she heard Selena call their Alpha by his name.

Damien stared at Selena intensely then looked down At her dress, and that was when it became clear to Selena.

"I am fine, no one hurt me, the blood isn't mine," Selena told him. He started for some time before letting her go.

"The next time I see you near her, I won't promise you would be alive." 

"I am hurt, you still think I would hurt her," Smith replied, annoyed. Selena 

"I never said you hurt her, I meant you can't protect her, I am beginning to regret letting go for medical reasons," Damien muttered and turned to Selena. 

He tried to carry Selena but she move back, "I want to talk to him," 

"You don't want to get him hurt right?" Damien uttered, giving a dangerous smile.

[We will have your talk the next time we see please go with him now, ]

"Damien, people are staring," Selena whispered.

"I don't care," Before Selena could say another word he lifted her and carried her in a bridal style." Selena hid her face on his chest, as they walked out of the hospital building.

"Go change your dress, the smell of someone else's blood on you is making me want to kill," He whispers as he drops her in front of the bathroom. When he got to his room.

Selena, not wanting to get on his bad side, went into the bathroom to get her bath.

Damien went to his closet which was now shared with his mate, he picked up one of his shirts and knocked on the bathroom door.

Selena, who was stripped naked stood there confused staring at the door. "Come take the dress you are going to change into. It's by the door," Damien let out. He dropped the dress and strides out of thee room 

When Selena was done, she put on the shirt given to her and peek out before coming out of the bathroom, she sat on the bed then her tummy rumbled reminding her she hasn't had breakfast.

"Your breakfast is here," Sophia announced excitedly as she appeared before Selena. "Wow, Sophie you are such a lifesaver," Selena squealed as Sophia opened up the plate.

"I figured out you will be hungry by now," Sophia explained as she arranged Selena's meals on the small table.

Selena watches as she helps her arrange the meals, and smiles gently she has known Sophia for a while now and she hasn't for once hurt. She has always been there for her. She doesn't even know the dark figure much, so why should she trust him?

"Come have your breakfast," Sophia said to Selena smiling. With a happy face, she gently started her food.

"Sophie, why don't you have a mate?" Selena asked before she could control herself. She had been curious ever since she mistakenly heard the siblings' conversations. She was done with her breakfast for some time now. 

The smile on Sophia dropped, when she heard what Selena asked, she volunteered to be with her for like two hours before going for her training.

"I am sorry if it's a touchy topic you don't need…."

"My mum made Damien kill my mate," Sophia confessed. Her eyes were becoming watery. "What! I am sorry, there is no need to tell me if you…."

"It's fine, you are my best friend anyway and I am also your guardian angel. So it will be bad to keep it from you." Sophia explained, smiling. Selena kind of felt bad when she heard what Sophia told her. Here she was thinking if to trust Sophia or not. And Sophia is trusting her with a secret.

"I was twenty years old when I found my mate, I was so happy to find my mate. Ever since my dad and brother's former mate's death, the pack has become a nightmare for me. It was full of sorrow, my mum became idle of herself, she didn't even care about her kids. She kept mourning for her mate's death." Sophia wiped her tears which were already falling off.

"Sophia,"

"I was so happy that I went against mum's order to go live with him. I never knew he didn't want me. I have always thought your mate would support you.

"Jered! Jared! Where are you Jared," The young version of Sophia could be seen looking for her mate, she just got back from her shopping." Shecould perceive her mate's scent, but she was confused as to why she couldn't find him. 

Though her mate was just a normal werewolf, he doesn't have blood-related to high rank but Sophia was satisfied with it. She doesn't care for riches, she has lived rich and elegant life before, and she doesn't see any advantages in it. 

She was still looking for his mate when suddenly she heard his mate talking to someone else in their bedroom. She wanted to bounce in and to know who the person was, only to be stopped by the next word from her mate.

"My love, I never want her as my mate but you know she has an Alpha blood in her and she is likely to help attain a high rank, then you know we will kill her and pretend she dies of rogue attack."

"Are you sure this plan of yours is going to work? You already marked her." She heard a familiar female voice say, she nearly fainted in shock.

"Yes love it will, I did that to make sure no one gets suspicious. Her brother is too busy with the Alpha duties to even know while her mum has been hidden in the world of loneliness mourning the late Alpha, so they won't notice anything going on.

Sophia couldn't hold it in, she ran away from the house she called home, she ran straight to her brother. Damien was having an important meeting with the rest member she suddenly barged in. 

"Sophia, let's show respect to this…." Damien stopped talking when he saw the spark in Sophia was gone. Not able to control himself he rushed to his sister. 

"The Meeting is adjourned, you can all leave!" He growled. When they were all gone.

"Sophia, why are you crying?"

"He said my brother will be too busy to know I am dead, my… my…. mum also won't notice it. Damien, is it true?" Sophia asked, confusing Damien.

"Let me take you to the room, you are acting weird," Damien murmured. He lifted her and took her to her room. All this while Daren was following them. 

When they got to her previous room, He put the crying Sophia on her bed and stared at her confused about what to do.  Daren saw how Damien was confused about what to do then he helped him.

"Sophia it's going to be fine, you know he will sort anything out right?" Sophia nods her head quickly.

"Where is your mate? Why isn't he here with you?" Daren asked?

"Don't call that cheater's name! I caught the beast telling his sister that he only accepted me as his mate to achieve a high rank in the pack." Sophia screamed, surprising both boys.

"Wait, a liar? Does a mate cheat?..."  

"It's okay, seems we won't need your opinion here," Daren whispered.

"You recalled I have always told you not to trust him that much because I kept having the hunch something isn't right about him." Dare announced.

"Hold on, you noticed something odd about him and you didn't tell me any shit!" Damien roared.

"The painful part was that he told me that same girl was his sister like I have been living together with his mistress and not sister," 

"What! They are siblings," Damien whispered. Daren stared at Damien in disbelief, "Does that mean, they are having an illicit affair?" Darren asked, shocked.

They felt something blow past them, looking back they couldn't find anyone. "Mum, knows about it now," Damien let out.

[Beta, the Luna just asked for the capture of Sophia's mate and his sister, do you think there is a problem?] Andrew asked Daren through the mind link.

"She asked for the capture of them already," Daren announced.

"No, don't that… there must be a reason for him to think such." Sophia suddenly sprang up.

"I don't care Sophia, he hurt you, he is also having an illicit affair. It's wrong to keep such werewolves in a pack." Damien asserted and walk out. 

"No! Damien No!" Sophia ran after him but couldn't catch him.

~~~~NEXT DAY~~~~

Both siblings were both kneeling before the whole pack members, their clothes were torn with blood stains. 

"They have been having an illicit affair which is a taboo in this pack. You recalled that my mate , who was the Alpha of this pack, doesn't take wrongdoing easily, before his death and I won't be the one to accept it either even if one of them is my daughter's mate. They would both be beheaded by the new Alpha to serve as a lesson to every one of you." Fiona announced.

Damien walked out and the warriors staying beside the captives bowed as he approached them. Damien was sad he was the one who would kill his sister's mate and cause his sister pain. He tried to talk to his mum to make him reject her but his mum disagreed saying she want Sophia to learn her lessons.

"I will only give you an easy death because of my sister but your sister will get a very painful death." Damien let out.

"I beg of you Alpha, please give me the painful….." Before he could finish his sentence his head was off. "How dare you ask for my favor! How dare you!" Derek gave a loud growl. 

"Take her to the dungeon. I will deal with her when I am less busy." He and  he stormed out of the field.
