DIALOGUE

Damien has been enjoying his company with his little mate who has been hugging him for a few hours now and for once in seventeen years of his life, he felt at peace. He regretted his decision of pushing his mate away from the beginning. He promised himself to treat her like the princess she is, just needed to wait for her to become a better Luna and make every single creature bow to her feet.

"Do you think I am a human?" Selena interrogated, raising an eyebrow and gaping at him innocently with those cute green eyes. 

He is beginning to solicit himself how the hell he wasn't patient enough and hadn't seen this beautiful side of his mate.

[Because you were such an asshole] his wolf retorted making a funny sound. [Shut the f**k up] he counters with annoyance, cutting off connection with his wolf.

"Flower, I can't give you an honest answer now. Still, don't you think It would be nice for you to have power? Having power doesn't mean you are a monster." He explained, staring at her in an adoring way. He knows with what transpired a few hours ago she wasn't a human. But he chose not to tell her now. He wanted to be sure what she is so he could explain it to her understanding and not let her lose it like what transpired when Zyres dropped the news.

"I am not a human, am I?" She inquired again, still staring at him with the same cute gaze not distorting her utterance a bit.

"Selena, you are not a human, and you are also not a monster either." Damien not knowing how to give a response to the question she asked, just told her the truth.

"Is that the reason why you are now nice to me? Like are you nice to me because you are now sure I am not a human?" Though she loves how he is with her now, she is happy he now cares for her. She is also excited with the spark she keeps getting the way he encircled his hands around her. But she couldn't help but ask the reason for him being nice to her?

Knowing why she asked that he couldn't help but feel a twinge in his heart when she asked. 

"No," he gave a firm reply, staring at her with so much intensity, to show how sincere he was. When Selena saw he wasn't stopping anytime soon from looking at her, she averted her gaze from him, staring at her fingers like there was something important happening with it.

Damien put his index under her chin raising her head to look up at him. When her gaze met him, he was lost a bit with her eyes, looking closer at her eyes he discovered the color of her eyes was forest green, with a little dot of red in the middle of them. It was so beautiful.

"It's the truth flower," he stated sincerely, still staring at her beautiful eyes, he wished he could know what was going on in her mind.

"You treated me like trash when I first came here," she whispered looking at him now. 

"I was so stupid then and I regret every single thing I did to you. I am not being nice to you because you begin to show some signs of not being human. I came to my senses when I nearly lost you again." He explained calmly hoping she is going to give him a chance.

"Apologise for everything," she murmured.

"What?" Damien asked, shocked. Apologizing to someone wasn't something he did, the other day he said sorry he had swallowed his pride and forced himself to do it. He never knew she would ask for it again. He couldn't say no to her if he wanted to gain her trust. So he had to do it again. "I am so sorry and I promise I won't act absurdly again." He apologized forcing his eyes shut.

"Why did you close your eyes? Oh my, did something get into your eyes?" Selena asked, alarmed, confused at how he shut his eyes.

"Nah, it's fine I am just not used to apologizing, people beg me." He countered truthfully there was no need to lie to her.

"So are you saying when you do something bad to someone you don't apologize?" Selena asked again. 

"No, I won't agree with your phrase. I don't do bad things," he muttered.

"What! You do worst…."

"That's more like it," Damien let out, interrupting her from what she wanted to say. Selena stared at the man before she was shocked, he does a bad thing and he doesn't feel bad about it?

Someone knocked on the door interrupting them. Sophie told the person to come in. For some reason, Damien wasn't pleased with the person by the door because he already knows who the person is through her scent.

When Sophie also saw the person she immediately had a scowl on her face. After what transpired between them, she doesn't want to go anywhere near her anymore, but she doesn't know how to say it. She is also mad that the witch even dares to come into her room. "Why are you here?" Selena growled before she could stop herself.

"Can you see I did a good job with her in just a day?" Alexandria asked in a mocking smile now looking at Damien. 

Damien gave a lazy smile nodding his head, he was annoyed and at the same time happy with whatever she did that triggered her.

This act of Damien kind of disappointed Selena and for the first time she wished Damien killed Andria just as he killed those people. 

Thinking of that, she got reminded of Gina, she hasn't seen her since she regained consciousness. Does this mean Gina was among the cooks he killed? She was so lost in her thought she didn't hear Damien calling her until she felt someone touch her making her startled but relaxed when she felt the same familiar spark she always gets when Damien touches her.

"Flower, how come you always get lost in your thoughts?" Damien asked when he finally got her attention. Selena looked around but couldn't find Alexandria, she was surprised she couldn't find her. 

"She left when you were lost in your thoughts," Damien told her when he saw how she was looking around.

"When will Alexandria leave? I don't like her." Selena said again.

"She can't leave now Selena, there is something she came here for," Damien replied. "You said she came here to train me. How come she's here for something else now?" Selena yelled now getting mad.

"Selena…"

"Is it true?" Selena asked, making Damien confused.

"What do you mean?"  

"I heard you are going to mate with her since she is an Alpha daughter and has an Alpha blood in her," Selena says looking at her mate furious.


"Where the hell did you hear that from?" Damien yelled standing from the bed, "Give me their name and…"

[Alpha you are needed in the office] His gamma said through a mind link. [Why?] he growled. [Two spies were caught in the pack and when we did some investigation we found out that they were vampires.]

"What the hell?" Damien growled furiously storming out of Selena's room leaving Selena appalled…..
