MEETING WITH HER PARENTS

"Who the hell are you?" Sophia screamed at Jessica.

"The hell I should be the one asking that question. Since she is your friend why don't you talk to her instead of just accommodating her."

Sophia stood shocked by what she just heard. She glanced at Selena and saw the fear in her eyes, she seemed confused about the situation on the ground.

"I never knew about this," Sophia answered truthfully.
"I have no time for chit chat, we are going home now," William said, going close to Selena but Sophia stopped him.

She couldn't let someone else take Selena. First, she is the Luna of their pack, and also she doesn't even know who they are.

"How can I trust you won't hurt her if I let her go with you? I am pretty sure you have been hurting her, and that explains why she ran from home." Sophia let out, with a serious gaze. She couldn't think of any more reason for making Selena run from their house, if not that. She couldn't say she was their daughter because she looks nothing like them.

"Are you trying to say I can't punish her when she does something wrong? Hey, you! I don't know who the hell you are, so it will be better if you stay out of our business if you don't want to get yourself in trouble." Jessica snarled.

"I am her best friend. What is your relation to her? I am pretty sure you are not her parent because she looks nothing like you. So explain before I let her go." Sophia felt Selena's grip tighten when she said that. Sophia uses her other hand to caress the hand Selena used to grip her hands, trying to assure her she would be fine. Even if they are parents, she couldn't allow her to go to them, since she is the Luna of their pack. And also she has a weird feeling about the man standing before them.

"We……."

"Selena! Selena!" Sophia shook her, which kind of terrified her.

"What is wrong? You seem lost, who are they?" Sophia asked Selena who was lost from the moment she saw her parents come into the restaurant. Speaking of that, she looked forward only to meeting her mum's almost teary eyes. She was confused at first.

"Why would you run away from home? Do you know how much we looked for you? We were so worried something bad could happen to you." Sophia stood confused staring at her mum who was now crying. Then she came to understand that, she was the one who was having the thought in her head. She touched her face and still felt the pain on her face.

"I am sorry I did that. I was just overwhelmed with confusion and delighted at the same time to see you after months. Thank goodness Vanessa sent some messages for us to come here quickly," Jessica said, giving Vannessa an appreciative look.

Selena was shocked by what her mum just said, her mum has never apologized to her even when her dad and brother hurt her. Like her mum just apologize for slapping her, she also said they were worried something would have happened to her. But the next thing her mum did was surprise her. Her mum got on her knees pleading with her to forgive her for hurting her. Selena who was the kind hearted type quickly pulled her up telling her it was fine and she forgave her, James and William also pleaded with her, not minding the scene they created in the restaurant filled with people now staring at them.

Sophia, who didn't understand a thing happening in front of her, spoke for the first time.

"Selena, who are they, and what exactly is going on here?" Sophia asked, irritated and confused at the same time, Sophia wanted to read their minds but strangely she couldn't, it was like a force was pushing her away if she wanted to do it.

"Sophia I am sorry but please can we go somewhere secluded to talk about this, " Selena pleaded with Sophia. She would have introduced her parents to Sophia there, but she still doesn't know if they want the world to know they were her parents so as not to spoil their reputation. She wanted to make jest of herself when she already imagined the opposite of what she was getting from her family now the moment she saw them.

Sophia nods her head in agreement and follows them out. Before leaving the Daniels thanked Vanessa and bid her bye. They also apologized to the crowd for causing such scene and also compensated them by paying for every single things they bought.

They all got into the Daniels limousine after much help from the guards, since Jessica was a model, the paparazzi were already waiting for her in the vicinity of the restaurant.

When they were able to get into their car, the driver instantly zoomed off. Selena got reminded of how crazy fans sent some gifts to her mum. She felt a pang of hurt in her heart when she was reminded of the past. She felt her mum touch her, she looked up at her and still saw how her green eyes showed some care. It got her reminded of her own eyes and also the only thing that made her still believe she is her mother. She was happy for once those eyes which were always cold when she stared at her.

Not long after they got to the familiar mansion, it was just like the way she left it. The mansion was still beautiful just as she had left it. She got reminded of how she always hated the mansion ever since she was a kid.

The car slowed down when it got into the mansion and stopped. The moment they step out of the car, maids rush to help them out of the car. Sophia was surprised that the same treatment in their world still happened in the human world. But what she doesn't understand is how come the humans still use some of their kind as maids, talking about how they have their ranks. But she doesn't see the human having ranks, so she makes a quick note to ask Selena when they are both alone.

Selena on the other hand was surprised they already got maids to replace her the moment she left, it was something that should have been done in the first place. They all went into the mansion which were having different maids walking around
When they saw their boss come in they all stopped and bowed to them.

"Get the guest something to eat," William said and some maids rushed to the kitchen. "You may have your seat," Jessica said, gesturing for the both of them to have their seat.

"They are my parents, and he is my older brother," Selena announced when she saw the place was beginning to get awkward when they sat a few seconds ago.

"Oh, they are your parents? I thought you were an orphan with the way you know scars were on your body," Sophia whispered the last part but they all heard. Speaking of that, they now see the way Selena dressed, she was no more putting on the pop socks and handkerchief she always put on, after any of them hit her.
They were surprised, even a single scar was on her neck.

"So why did you leave home?" Sophia asked the question that has been bothering her mind ever since they arrived.

"To clear my head," Selena answered. She has planned to say that when they were in the car, she didn't want Sophia to hate them. And she couldn't explain what happened to her.

"So now they beg and you forgive, what are you going to do?" She asked.

"I don't know Sophia," she replied confused. If she was told to choose what she wanted to be the previous day? She wouldn't think twice before answering the question, but with her parents pleading for compassion, she didn't know what to do.

"Let's cut this short Selena, you know you can't live with them right?" Selena looked down, not able to say anything.

"What do you think I should tell….," Sophia stopped talking when she felt someone trying to mind link her, she let it through and heard her brother's cold voice.

[Why the hell are you in the human world?] Sophia stood shocked, surprising the Daniels.

[How did you know where we are?] Sophia asked, praying it wasn't what she was thinking, but she was wrong. For her brother to be able to mind-link her, it means he was close by.

[Where is my mate?] She could feel his anger even when she wasn't standing before her. [She is fine even if you already think I can't take care of her] Sophia retorted.

[Where are you? I need to be with my mate to calm my wolf, ] Damien replied. He was confused when his sister replied saying his mate was fine.

[We are with her parents, ] Sophia replied, heaven knows all hell broke loose when he heard that. [How the hell did you take her to her parents?] He roared, Sophia quivered in fear when he asked that question. She quickly cut connections with him.

"Selena we need to talk," Sophia whispered to Selena's. The Daniels stare at them confused, they were still surprised at the way she stood from the chair, abruptly went into deep thought, and now wanted to tell their daughter something.

Selena quickly excused themselves and they went out, getting outside. Sophia did not explain to Selena before disappearing out of the mansion. In front of a maid making her scream in shock. The Daniels ran out when they heard someone scream.

"What is wrong?" Jessica asked, confused looking at the same place the maid kept pointing at, but couldn't talk. "Th… The…. They are g…go…gone," she managed to say and fainted.
