A DAY WITH SMITH

"It seems like someone came in here," Sophie said again still sniffing the walking into the elevator.
"A girl named Alexandria came by, Damien introduced her as his childhood friend," I explained.
"Hold on, did you just say that clingy b*tch came here?" She asked now furious.
"Thought Damien told you already?," He only said I should come to accompany you, he never said that b*tch is around.
"Why do you keep calling her b*tch? It's not right," I said as the elevator door closed.
"Are you kidding me? You should be mad if another girl is with your mate, don't you feel anything?" She asked with her eyes wide.
"I feel bad though, but he said he wants her to help me in becoming a better Luna," I explained.
"Fine," she said with an eye roll still fuming.
The elevator dinged and the door got opened, then we both walked out of it with me looking down.
The moment we step out of the elevator, all the members gasp, some pretend not to see us, and some bow and scurry off as we walk by.
"Why is everyone acting strange?" I asked Sophie, stunned by the pack members' behavior.
"They can smell the Alpha scent on you," she replied walking faster.
When we got out of the building. Sophie holds my hands pulling me with her.
"Sophie, hold on I might fall if you keep pulling me with you this way." I cried out.
Sophie was still running when she suddenly stopped lunging me forward using my head to hit her back.
"Sophie, why the…." I stopped talking the moment I saw the view before me.
"Damien!" Sophie yelled out his name which kind of startled me. In a flash, Alexandria was thrown to the ground harshly.
"What the hell Sophia? Stand down!* Damien yelled. But that abbreviated her anger, she lunged her hands forward and enclosed it. Damien's eyes change to dark blue.
"Sophia, I don't want to hurt you so f**king, stand down now!" Damien growled loudly, making me tremble. But that didn't shake Sophie a bit. She raised her both hands lifting Damien.
"Sophie! What the hell? Stop it right now!" I shriek in fear. Damien is furious he might hurt he if she doesn't stop now.
In an instant Damien dropped to the ground, I looked toward Sophie and watched as she stared at her hands in horror.
"What just happened?" She asked, still staring at her hand, shocked by what just happened a few seconds ago.
"You nearly killed two people, that's what f**king happen," Alexandria replied with an eye roll dusting her dress. Like she even dares to talk.
"Don't you dare say sh*t, or you will be the next one getting choked?" She snarled, making her keep shut.
"Selena…."
"Stopped, I am too weak to be your Luna remember?" I whispered holding my tears.
I turned back to the direction we were coming from and noticed Sophie doing the same.
"Sophie please I want to be alone," I whispered, and walk out. When I got to the pack house or should I say castle. I turned to the other route leading out of it. This is the second time it's happened to see him kiss someone else.
I continued walking, not even watching where I was going. I thought he wanted me to give him a chance, why the hell was he with someone else? I felt anger, pain and other emotions I couldn't speak of wash over me, but why? I wasn't supposed to have these feelings. Why does kissing another girl hurt me so much? I promised myself not to depend on anyone so why the hell am I starting to depend on them? Why is my life even this way?
"Selena, you have been walking for hours now. Is there anything wrong?" I heard someone behind me. Bringing me back from my world. I looked around and noticed I was in an unfamiliar environment. I looked in the direction I heard someone's voice and saw it was Smith the handsome doctor.
"Why is beauty crying?" He asked as he walked closer to me. I touched my face and felt it was wet. I never knew I had been crying.
"Nothing," I answered as I quickly wiped the tears off my face. He chuckled already getting to where I was standing. I just don't get why I feel some kind of bond with him, I feel like he is someone I know.
"Having an issue with the Alpha?" He asked again trying to get me to talk but I shake my head still not answering his question.
"Hmm, why do I feel like you are lying?" He asked, tilting his head upward and scratching his beard like he was trying to think of something making a funny face. It kind of cracked me up.
"Can't believe that made you smile, I am highly honored." He proudly says putting a smile on.
"Do you want to sit be here or still have some walk?" He asked, of which I nodded my happy, I haven't been able to be outside that much. So I won't miss this opportunity.
But I remembered something, "Don't you have a patient you are supposed to attend to?" I asked.
"Nah, I am less busy for now." He answered gesturing for me to start walking.

We kept discussing different things, well he is the one doing the talking while I listen. He started with how he is an Orphan and his dad was killed when fighting alongside their former King. His mum died when she couldn't withstand the broken bond. Before her death, she begged Damien to please help her take him under his control.
"So why did you decide not to become a warrior just like you guys call it?" I asked.
"I have my reasons, I am kind of special and won't want to blow my cover. Being a doctor won't make them come after me." He said, casting his gaze on me seriously.
"Who do you mean by that?" I asked getting curious.
"You are going to understand later when you…" Then he suddenly stopped talking and sniff the air.
Then he said one word which made me stop breathing, "Rogues," he snarled.
Ever since the last incident, I have always prayed not to come across it again.
"What are we going to do?" I asked, frightened.
"No matter what happens, stay close to me and stand In where I will see you." He finished and in a minute he turned into his wolf form, making my eyes wide open and my heart beating so fast. I was still not used to seeing someone change into his wolf form.
Before I knew it Smith lunged an attack toward me, in shock, I screamed and closed my eyes thinking he was going to hurt me. A few seconds later I still didn't feel any pain. I opened my eyes and gasped when I saw a dead brown wolf on the ground and Smith's wolf standing on it. Then I understand he only did that, to save me from the rogue wolf which I never knew was behind me.
Smith's wolf turned to me, lifting his snout and staring at me. "Close your eyes, Luna, it will be over soon." I heard a voice in my head and instantly I closed my eyes frightened.
The moment I close my eyes I heard different growls, still trembling I didn't open my eyes. Not long I felt a striking pain behind my back, making me scream in pain. I opened my eyes, turning in the direction I felt pain. Like in a flash I watch in horror as a black wolf attacked it, snapping its head off. I fell in shock with what I had just seen.
The big black wolf was having black eyes, it looked around still sniffing the air, and suddenly. It turned to me and bowed at me whimpering, "I am sorry for not showing respect from the beginning, long live Luna," I heard in my head again making me confused.
"I am Luke, Smith wolf. " The voice said again. Then I looked toward the wolf, the bond I felt with it was kinda very tight just as I stared at it. Still staring at it I heard a cracking sound and it suddenly turned back to Smith. He stood from the ground and rushed toward me.
"You are bleeding badly Luna," he said as he inspect my wound.
"What is with the sudden change of name?" I asked staring at him confused.
"I never knew you were the Luna, my wolf detected it." He answered by removing his shirt and using it to stop my bleeding. I should scream even though it hurts. But I have felt more than this so I could bear the pain.
"Let's take you to the hospital," He said again. But was stopped when we heard a very loud terrifying growl before us. I gasp in fear but looking at its eyes it looks familiar then I know who the hell it was. It was looking at me but when his eyes landed the blood stain on Smith's shirt. It ran toward Smith raising its paws striking Smith real horribly…..
