SERENA

Selena could be seen lying on a hospital bed with a drip fixed on her vein. She was still looking pale but not like that of the first time when the spell was cast on her. She was putting on a very beautiful robe, her eyes were well brushed. She was just like a sleeping beauty. 

"When will she be awake?" A male voice asked.

"She should be awake anytime from now. I break the spell now and she also won't recall any of her memories she spent in the pack."

"Thanks for the help,"

"You are most welcome If you make her stay away from my son." Fiona bellowed.

 "Trust me I won't make her see outside of this mansion."  Fiona smiled and nodded her head then she disappeared from the presence of Naferes.

"I can't believe she will betray her people just because she's threatened by her." A voice said behind Naferes walking to the sleeping Selena.

"Back off! Powers are radiating from her, she might hurt you if you touch her." Naferes told his brother. She might not recall her memories but he needs to be careful around her, her wolf is very vicious if it dislikes someone. He needs to win her over.

Eden stopped walking toward Selena and turned to his brother, "Why do you want her?" This question has been bothering him ever since he knows of their plan to take her away from her mate.

"She can make me become the king of all supernatural beings. She is the strongest werewolf . What do you think would happen when they mate?" Naferes looked toward his brother. Who still doesn't understand what he was blabbing about.

"He will become the strongest if she's with him but if she isn't he will become weak and get destroyed." Naferes let out.

"Wow, that's great logic."  His brother said 

"This isn't logic but using the brain. Stop acting like a fool and get out," He growled.

Eden rushed out not wanting to get on his brother's bad side when he was gone.

Naferes walk closer to the sleeping Selena.

"I am happy you are finally here with me, do you know how many years I have been waiting for you to be by my side?" Naferes took Salena's hands in his and kissed them.

"You will be the one to bear my child and I promise to give you anything you want as long as I rule the supernatural world." He kept talking to her, even if she couldn't hear her.

A knock was heard on the door making Naferes walk to the door to check who the person was.

"I think it'll be better if you take her to her foster parents now the werewolves are on their way as we speak." His chief guard announced not letting him ask any questions.

"What! but they can't get past the boundary."

"They can, they have the witch sister with them"

"Are they back to the human world?"

"Yes, the same which took them back."

"Take her there and make sure my message is passed to them."

"Yes your Highness," he bowed and went to where Selena was sleeping and picked her up from the bed using his vampire speed, he sped out of their world down to the human world.


Selena kept trying to force her eyes open, she was having a banging headache and her throat feels scratchy at the same time her whole body feels like fire. After a few tries, she was able to open her eyes, she looked around and noticed she was in an unfamiliar environment. Something was strange about her, she felt she could hear water drops, her sight was very clear, and she could see things clearly even though her room was dark. 


She turned to her nightstand to check the time and saw it was 3 in the noon. She tried jumping out of the bed, but her body was too weak to do that.

"Oh my god how the hell did I sleep up to this time?" she asked in shock.

She then hears some footsteps coming closer, and in a few seconds, the door busted open. "Look who decided to be up!" She heard her mum's voice.

"Mum?" A slap landed on her face, shutting her up.

"Do you know what we went through all in the name of you running away from home" her mum yelled.

Selena looked up at her mum confused, "Runaway? what are you talking about?"

Jessica felt relieved when she heard Selena's reply.

What the man they met said was true, she couldn't recall her memories. 

"Let me explain to you this ungrateful brat who we saved from death. You ran away from home and had an accident. What if we didn't put up your poster all around? I'm very sure you would have been dead by now. You bitch, I will make sure you regret not ever listening to us and running away from home." She yelled and left her room banging her door hard.

After her mum had left, she looked around the room and it was strange because they were not in their former mansion. Her room was well decorated but her parent's behavior didn't change a bit. She wondered why she ran away from home. The only thing she was able to recall was her brother hitting her in the morning for not washing his shirt on time before she left for the workplace that morning.

Selena was doing the dishes when her brother appeared behind her she quickly scurried out of the sink before he could get to her.

"What do you want?" Selena whispered, shaking. She turned and saw he was just by the door, she wondered how she could hear his step and also smell his scent.

"You recall what you did to me the day you ran away right?" Selena looked down, not looking up at him. She couldn't escape anyway.


She felt her parents were hiding things from her, it was also weird to her that she couldn't find any scars on her body.

"I am sorry but I can't recall any of my memories," Selena responded, still shifting back.

"You are trying to run away? Such a joke. Let me make this clear to you, we are in a new city there is no way you are running away. Even if you think you can escape." James said and turned about to leave the kitchen.

"Why can't you for once in your life accept me as your sister? Why the hell do you all hate me? If you never wanted me you should have killed me from the beginning, not help me since I am an ungrateful brat!"

"How dare you!" James rushed towards Selena giving her a blow on her stomach, she lost her balance and fell to the ground. James continues using this opportunity to kick her mercilessly.

"You have no right to question me you will continue living all your life here as a slave! You bitch!" He roared and gave her a last kick. Then he walked out of the kitchen satisfied with what he had done to her.

Selena was speechless, She lay there staring at where he was standing a few seconds ago. She couldn't believe her parents could be this cruel. She stood up and continued what she was doing, not minding the pain she was feeling.

Selena was done with her chores so she went back to her room, she sat on the bed still staring at her body, still confused she went inside the bathroom and stared at the mirror before her.


She admired her body, and noticed she wasn't as skinny as she could recollect, she was now more pretty, and her ginger red hair which always looked dull was no longer looking dull. Something also caught her attention, she was supposed to be feeling pains right now and also have some bruises on her body, but there were none. She felt like she was going crazy


"Suddenly, she felt a pain in her head. "Since you are already pretty, I just did some little touch-ups." Selena continues staring at the mirror shocked, only her grandma says that to her. "But the voice she just recollected seems nothing like her grandma. She tried to still think deeper. "Happy Birthday Selena," she fell to the ground when she couldn't withstand the pain.

This memory seems like something new, she felt her parents were hiding something, if she had run away and they finally saw when she had an accident why the hell would they change their environment, why the hell would they lock her in the apartment saying she should leave the house. She stood up again and stared at her reflection, her eyes went to the side of her neck where she could find a mark like she was bitten. She touched it and caressed the mark.

 "Wh… what.. ar… are .. you doing Damien?" She heard her voice in her head, still concentrating on remembering what happened. "I am making you mine just like you wanted." A husky familiar voice replied in her head. In just a flash everything came rushing to her brain, she finally recalled every single thing which happened, how she ran away from home because they planned on giving her to someone. How Damien took her to his world and she met Selena. What had made her go unconscious he marked her. She smiled when she touched the mark. "He is going to find me, it won't take long anymore." She whispered.
