“Which girl is that ? I've never seen her before". Mike asked Alex. “Because you hardly visit our pack. That's Mina,we used to play with her when we were kids”. Alex explained and also was impressed by Mina's moves. “You mean Beta Nick's daughter, the cry baby". Mike said, stifling laughter. “She sure is". Alex replied. “She looks more beautiful and different". Mike explained. “I've also realized she's not the girl we used to tease anymore". Alex replied, “Look at all those curves". Mike commented, earning a growl from Alex. “Did you just growl at me? I'm just checking her out or is she your mate?". Mike asked. ”I don't know, but Kairo felt edgy about your comment. Sorry buddy”. Alex tapped Mike's shoulder. “It's alright but hope you don't mind if I ask her out". Mike spoke teasingly. “Don't you dare”. Alex replied. Mike laughed and raised his hands in surrender. “Does she know about your flings and escapades? I bet she doesn't”. Mike teased. “She doesn't need to know, it's my life and she's not my mate to begin with”. Alex answered. “I knew you had a crush on her since we were kids. I just didn't pester you. Do you still like her”? Mike asked. “Why do you seem so interested in my personal matters". Alex asked, annoyed. “Because I just can't help it". Mike laughed. “It's going to be fun staying in this pack. I'm glad you chose me to be your gamma. I can't wait to be declared as the gamma of this pack”. Mike spoke beaming with joy. “Don't make me change my mind about choosing you”. Alex warned, “You are such a fun blocker". Mike smirked.





“Enough with the gossip, let's concentrate. Spare with the opposite gender. Don't be easy on them, " Noah explained. “Amya, you will spar with me”. Noah declared, surprising everyone present, including Amya. “I'm gonna end up with broken bones today”. Amya muttered under her breath. “Hey gorgeous, would you mind sparring with me”. Mike asked Mina, waiting for an answer. He just hoped she wouldn't turn him down. Mina smiled and nodded. “When I say attack you start". Noah spoke. Alex left the training grounds uninterested in the turn of events. “I'm not going to take it easy on you". Mike warned. Mina grinned. The session ended with Mike having a broken leg. “That's all for today, you may leave”. Noah ordered. “What happened to your leg?". Noah asked, noticing Mike limping. “Don't ask". Mark replied, glancing at Mina, who just giggled.



“Have a great day guys, I will have to head home”. Mina spoke, walking towards the direction of her house. “She sure is strong”. Mike commented. “Yeah, she will be of great advantage to the pack. She surely has the beta genes in her”. Noah replied. “She's far stronger than that. She clearly disgraced me today". Mike said. Noah and Amya laughed.



“How was training today”. Beta Nick asked when he noticed his daughter walking into the house. “It was fun dad. I learnt new skills today. I'm hungry. What's there for breakfast?". Mina asked. “Your mother as always made you something delicious, but I think you need to take a shower first”. Beta Nick answered. “Dad, do you imply I stink". Mina asked, raising her eyebrows. “Darling, I would be lying if I said no". Beta Nick replied. Mina rushed into her room. After a quick shower, she headed downstairs and ate breakfast with her dad. “Where's mom today?". Mina asked, looking around to see if her mom would appear from their room or the kitchen. “She went shopping with the Luna for Alex's coronation and birthday decorations". Beta Nick replied. Mina smiled. She helped her dad to wash the dishes and headed upstairs to read her favorite story books.

“What happened to your leg". Alpha Damien asked when he noticed Mike limping. “He got his ass kicked by Mina. Dad, she sure is a warrior".Amya replied, not giving Mike the chance to explain. “Well, hope you had fun”. Alpha Damien asked. Amya smiled, explaining today's event on the training grounds to her dad. After the daddy and daughter duo chit-chat, the Alpha called the guys into his office to explain the details of the coronation and swearing in as leaders.
