Birthday

Venus had been ramming in her head, making Mina wake up. “Slow down girl, I don't want a headache today. Let me sleep in peace". Mina warned. “No, just let me out". Venus whined. “Are you for real? What are you so desperate about? I just want to sleep please". Mina explained. Venus rolled her eyes and went to the back of her mind. “That's weird". Mina thought. Mina slept again, unperturbed by Venus.





“Urgh, this alarm sounds so loud". Mina grumbled, turning it off. Today was her birthday and she knew the probability of her finding her mate was high. She just hoped her mate would be a loving and caring mate who would make her feel like the queen she is. She can't afford an egoistic or arrogant mate who will be ordering her around or acting possessive. She would put him right in his place because she was his better half and they were made for each other. She shrugged and got out of bed. She looked into the mirror and laughed at her messy appearance.





“We ought to take a bath,we can't afford our mate to see us like this". Venus suggested. “I agree with you, but not until I take a run in the woods". Mina spoke, making Venus roll her eyes. “I think a good run will help us calm down and start our day better. Don't think about abandoning me in the woods". Mina spoke. Mina sneaked downstairs, making sure not to wake her parents. She grabbed an apple and quietly closed the door, walking along the front patio. She giggled and rushed to the edge of the woods. She quickly looked around, making sure no one was around. Although nudity is something normal in the werewolf community, she wanted her mate to be the first to see her nakedness. She blushed and removed her clothes, hanging them on a nearby tree.





Mina connected with Venus and embraced the shift into their gray wolf. Venus growled once they shifted and dashed through the woods. Venus was happy feeling the breeze of the woods along with the eerie sounds from the animals; the birds and the insects chirping. It's been a while since they shifted. Mina had always resisted the urge to shift whenever she wanted to. She was quite surprised when Mina agreed to run through the woods. They spotted a rabbit and hunted it down. After Venus was satiated, they ran towards the waterfall in the middle of the woods. Venus looked up at the skies, earning a giggle from Mina. “The skies look really beautiful”. Venus commented. “I agree with you". Mina spoke. They quietly approached the waterfall. Venus gently immersed its paws in the water and feeling its coolness,yirped. “Give me control back Venus. I want to swim". Mina spoke. Mina quickly shifted back into her human form naked and dashed into the water, swimming and playing with the water. “This feels so nice". She giggled.





After staying in the water for long, she realized the skies were brightening up. “We need to hurry back home before our parents wakes up else they will be worried". Mina spoke. They would think she sneaked away early in the morning on her birthday. Mina didn't want to have a lecture from her mom this morning. As if on cue, Venus sneered. Their mother was quite a talker. “I can hear your thoughts”. Mina spoke. Venus feigned pain. Mina shifted and ran through the woods back to their house. She quickly changed back and wore the clothes she left hanging by the tree. “It's time to sneak back into the room". She didn't want to take risks using the front door. If her parents were awake, they would definitely smell her scent and notice she had been outside. She walked around the house and approached the back door tiptoeing. She heard some noises. “Shit mom is in the kitchen". She muttered under her breath. Her mom was a neat freak. I guess I picked it from her, Nina thought. If she walked through the back door her mom would catch her. There was only one way out. That was jumping. She tapped into the strength of Venus and jumped. She landed carefully at the balcony of her room. She hurriedly walked but unfortunately she knocked the vase of flowers down. The vase made a loud noise when it fell, breaking down into pieces. “Shit”. Mina grumbled.
