“Why are there a lot of customers today?". Mina whispered while serving some customers. “I have no idea but it's a great thing. We get to close early". Gina explained. Mina nodded in agreement.



“Are you sure there's a café shop nearby". Alex asked Mike while they strolled around. “Maps don't lie, you know". Mike chuckled. Once they reached the café shop,Alex started sniffing when he smelled Mina's scent. That's unusual. Mike stopped Alex when he realized his eyes were changing color. “We are in the middle of human man. Control Kairo before he exposes us". Mike spoke. “I think I smell Mina around and it's coming from the café shop". Alex explained. “What are you waiting for?". Mike spoke, dragging Alex into the shop. “Mate mate". Venus whined, irritating Mina. “You've got to be kidding me". Mina chuckled. Glancing up she realized Alex was standing there staring at her. “Oh no I'm screwed". She muttered under her breath. Gina had excused herself into the washroom. Alex stood there with his mouth open. He couldn't believe Mina was standing there right in front of him. “Claim mate". Kairo whined. “Not here buddy, people are around". Alex explained.



He took large strides in front of Mina, who looked terrified. Mina backed away and ran out of the shop with Alex running after her. Mike stared in amusement until Milo started stirring in his head. A beautiful petite girl stepped to where Mina was standing. Milo whispered one word“Mate". Mike stared in shock. He was mated to a human. It is going to take forever to win her over. Gina stared at the handsome man in front of her and she imagined dirty thoughts with him on top of her and she screaming his name underneath him. “What is wrong with me?". She thought. “Hi, can I offer you something?".



Mike chuckled when he realized she was affected by his presence. “A cappuccino and some muffins". Mike replied, staring at her. “What's your name?". Mike asked. “I'm Gina. Have you seen Mina around?". Gina asked, looking for Mina. “She just went out". Mike responded. “How do you know the person I'm talking about?". Gina asked, confused. “Because she's my friend and my cousin's wife". Mike replied. Gina stared at him confused. “Oh no I have to find her". Gina spoke, grabbing her bag and Mina's bag waving at a certain woman. She ran out. Mike ran after her, catching up with her. “Wait". Mike spoke, holding her for the first time. Gina gasped. “What's that?". Gina asked, confused when she felt sparks. Mike scratched the back of his head. “Let me explain OK. But first take me to where you are". Mike explained. “You had better have something better to say.". Gina spoke, motioning for him to follow her.



“Mina, wait for once, can you listen to me. Let me explain myself". Alex spoke. Mina halted in her steps. “What you saw wasn't the entire truth. Please let me explain". Mina nodded. “Well, I was drugged, so what you came to meet,it happened though but I was still asleep. I suddenly woke up when I heard the noise of something breaking into pieces. I love you and I still do. I wouldn't cheat on you. Please believe me. It was a plan set up by Anastasia and her father, Alpha Declan. I know about the letter you found". Alex explained. “You do. How long have you known? I don't trust you". Mina spoke, glaring at him. “It's fine if you don't trust me, but that's the truth. Please come back home with me. Your parents are worried. Our friends and family are also worried. You can't relish your anger at them. Please say something". Alex spoke, waiting for her response.



“Fine. How are my parents doing and why did you come alone with Mike? Where's Noah?". Mina asked. “I've been searching for you for years. The elders have been pestering me to take a chosen mate but I can't. And for Noah, let's say he's mated to Amya and they are expecting a child". Alex explained, “A lot has happened while I left. Amya is pregnant already. I'm happy for them. I think it would be better if we talked in my house. Let's go". Mina spoke, heading towards her car. The ride was awkward. “That's the house". Mina gestured. Alex got out and followed her. “Mike what are you doing here and why are you making out with my friend". Mina exclaimed. “She is my mate". Mike mouthed. Mina smiled. “Well, I think we have some explaining to do". Gina spoke. “Well Gina,I want to go back home with my husband. I misunderstood him". Mina explained, looking at a confused Gina. “How do you believe him? What if he's lying. What about Glenn?". Gina explained. Mina didn't know how to explain to Gina that once your mate is lying, you will feel it.



“Wait, who is Glenn? Is that who I think he is?". Alex asked. “You know him?". Mina asked, surprised. “We met in the club". Alex explained. “Well he's been hitting up on me but I haven't been paying attention to him". Mina explained, she didn't want Alex to make the wrong impression. “Well, I believe you". Alex nodded in response. “Will you come with us Gina?". Mina asked. “What about the café shop?". Gina asked. “Don't worry, we will talk to Mrs Lovely". Mina explained. “But why should I go with you?". Gina asked, confused. “Because you are Mike's mate. He can't leave without you. He will die if you reject him. We are werewolves dear. It is high time you believed". Mina explained, looking at a shocked Gina. “But I thought you didn't exist?. Isn't that all a fantasy". Gina asked, looking at Mike. “It's real and I can make you turn too once we mark and mate". Mike explained. “Mate as in sex. That's super cool". Gina blushed, earning a chuckle from Mike. “Alright fine, I will go with you guys,let me pack". Gina explained, standing up. “Are you sure about this?". Mina asked, concerned. “As ready as I will ever be,count me in". Gina explained, running into her room.

“Thanks Mrs Lovely,we really appreciate it". Gina spoke on behalf of her and Mina. “I wish you girls the best of happiness". Mrs Lovely replied. Mina sat in the backseat with Alex while Gina sat in the passenger seat with Mike driving. “How long from here to your place?". Gina asked, looking through the window at the scenery. “About a 4 hour drive,we will be there soon". Mike replied, focusing on driving.
