Entering the kitchen,Mina grabbed a bottle of water and tossed one to Amya, who quickly caught it. Sipping her water, she realized Mike and Noah had entered the kitchen. “Sup girls, what's the new normal?", Mike spoke, glancing at Mina. Before Mina could reply,Noah cut in. “Where did you guys go to? We thought you were missing." Noah spoke, making the girls giggle. Amya's voice was like music to his ears. He chuckled in response. “Mina, Alpha Alex told us to let you come to his office once you arrive". Mike spoke. “What's it about?". Mina asked, tossing the empty bottle into the trash can. “I have no idea". Noah chimed in.



Mina hurried upstairs to Alex's office. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door. “Come in". Alex spoke when he smelled Mina's scent. Mina opened the door gently and entered the office. “Heard you looking for me, what's it about?". Mina spoke, sitting on the nearest chair. Alex chuckled, motioning for her to come closer. She groaned and stood up from the chair, walking slowly towards him. Alex patted his lap for her to sit. “Are you for real? What if someone sees us". Mina asked. “But what's wrong with that?". Alex spoke, dragging her to his lap where he held her with his hands around her waist. Mina blushed in bewilderment, struggling to get free from his embrace. “Don't move, I'm already finding it hard to control my wolf". Alex warned, which stilled Mina's actions. “I missed you". Alex spoke, inhaling her neck. Mina turned to face him, holding his hands in her palm. “I missed you too". Mina blushed shyly. Alex leaned closer and kissed her, which she returned. The kiss soon turned into a passionate one and Mina was completely aroused. Smelling her arousal,Alex grabbed her ass, making her straddle his lap. Alex massaged her breast without breaking the kiss, making Mina moan into his mouth.



“Knock knock", someone interrupted at the door. Alex huffed in annoyance. Mina giggled and jumped from his lap, arranging her clothes well. “Come in",Alex spoke. “Alpha Alex, I'm sorry to disturb you but your mother called for the two of you to come downstairs for dinner",the omega spoke cowering at the dangerous aura emitted by the Alpha. “You can leave now, I will be downstairs soon". Alpha Alex spoke, dismissing the young omega who ran out of the room. “You scared her". Mina scolded him once they got out of the office holding hands. Alex chuckled.



Reaching downstairs with their joined hands, everyone's eyes were on the two of them. Taking their seats, they dug in. In between eating, Mike started laughing. “What's wrong?". Mina asked. “It's nothing". Mike replied when Alex shot him a glare. Mina realized everyone's eyes were on her, especially her neck. She followed their eyes and realized there was a big hickey left by Alex on her neck. She blushed in embarrassment. “I guess the two of you had a great time". Noah spoke. “It's not what you are thinking?". Mina tried to explain only for Luna Ayla to cut in. “No one is judging you dear. Enjoy your meal". Mina nodded.



After the embarrassment during dinner,Mina walked into her room after eating. Alex soon entered afterwards with a smirk on his face. “You did it on purpose, didn't you". Mina scolded Alex. Alex chuckled and sat on the sofa ignoring her comments. Annoyed about being ignored,Mina dashed into the washroom for a cold shower. After she got dressed in her pajamas, she walked towards the door. Alex grabbed her hands, stopping her from walking further. “Where do you think you going?". Alex asked, thinking she was angry. “I promised Amya a movie night in the living room". Mina explained. Alex leaned closer and kissed her forehead. Mina smiled and walked out.



She entered the kitchen to grab a bowl of popcorn and ice cream for the movies. Walking down the hallway with the bowl of popcorn and ice cream in her hands, she saw a brown envelope at the entrance to the living room. She bent down to pick it up. The envelope had Alex's name on it, which was strange. “Who would leave a letter in the middle of the hallway". Mina thought. Looking around, she didn't find anyone in the hallway. Amya had told her she would be downstairs in forty minutes' time. She sat down on the sofa and took the envelope. She glanced around to check whether Amya was lurking around before opening the envelope. Inside the envelope was a letter.



Dear Alex,

I know you are a man of good heart and you wouldn't want a child to suffer. I just wanted to inform you about the fact that I'm carrying your child. I know you have seen your mate, which I'm happy for you, but I can't afford my unborn child not to see his father or get fatherly love while growing up. I know you are wise and you would think of a better solution for this. Hoping to hear from you soon.

Mina's hands shook after reading the letter. She couldn't stop her tears. Anastasia was expecting a child with Alex. That's certainly possible because they had had sex before. Noticing footsteps approaching the living room,Mina wiped her tears and stuffed the letter in her dress. “I didn't long did I". Amya asked, settling down on the seat next to Mina. After watching the movie,Mina stood up and walked towards their room. There was no way she would show Alex the letter. Within the past few weeks,her love for Alpha Alex had rekindled but she couldn't let an innocent child suffer, so she would have to leave him before it was too late. Venus whined at her silly thought of them leaving their mate.





Unknown POV

“Hi Anastasia, the job is done". “Did you see her picking it up"? Anastasia asked on the other end of the phone. “I placed it when I realized her approaching the living room. She picked it up even with Alex's name on it". “She is a fool if she believes that". Anastasia replied. The person chuckled. “Well you did a great job and I hope it had the effect I wanted". Anastasia asked. “Yes it did". “Don't forget to give me feedback on what happened". Anastasia replied. “At your service girl, what are friends for?. Just hoping I'm not caught, else I will be banished from the pack". “Don't worry, I got you. Once I become Luna, I will make sure everything is alright with you". Anastasia spoke through gritted teeth and ended the call. “She's so stupid to think I would help her, but now she's of good importance". Anastasia chuckled and grinned with victory.





“How was the movie?". Alex asked as soon as Mina entered. “It was great. I'm feeling sleepy. Could we talk tomorrow". Mina spoke. She laid on the bed, switching off the bedside lamp. She whispered good night to Alex, who snuggled her closer into his embrace.
