“That was a cool one”. Anastasia groaned after the make-out session with Alex. “You better get out before anyone sees you here”. Alex warned, clearly annoyed she had overstayed her welcome. “But you were my first and that was great”. Anastasia pouted while gathering her clothes scattered on the floor. She must admit she didn't know Alex would fall for her seductive ways, but it worked perfectly fine and she couldn't be less happier because she had succeeded. The only thing she has to do is to make Alex settle with her so she can be the Luna. She didn't care about her mate or whoever Alex's mate was. Alex is hers and only hers. Alex scoffed and rolled his eyes. “Why did I even bed a whore this time?"he asked his wolf. “Because you couldn't keep your dick in your pants”. Kairo shot back, clearly disgusted with the she wolf touching her more than usual. He only yearns for his mate but this stupid human of his is messing everything up. “ He just hopes their mate will be kind enough to forgive them, else he's going to make Alex regret everything. “First time,are you kidding me. I know you have been sleeping around before this. I know a virgin when I see one. Will you be quick and leave before I loose it". Alex spoke clearly, depicting his patience is limited. Anastasia just grinned and walked towards the door. “Wait!". Alex spoke, halting Anastasia in the process. “It was just a fling,we just had fun, so there's no need for you to feel attached. Do I make myself clear". Alex smirked. Anastasia frowned, clearly annoyed by his comment, but she quickly regained her composure and made a fake smile. She nodded and left. “You think you can get rid of me just like that. We shall see about that. I definitely get what I want. It's me or no one else”. Anastasia laughed at her thought.



“Darling, why did you leave before that time? Does your tummy still hurt". Beta Nick spoke through Mina's door since she had refused to open it. Due to his high senses, he could hear stifles from the room. Clearly, his daughter had been crying but he was not going to press further until she was ready to voice it out. “I'm heading downstairs. I've placed a drug by your door, do well to take it". Beta Nick said while glancing up once again, hoping to see his daughter come out, but he was disappointed. He walks towards his room and halts when he notices the look on his wife's face. “What's wrong babe". He enquired while caressing her cheeks. “Is she alright". Nina asked with worry evident on her face. “I don't know what's wrong but I think something happened at the party that we don't know about, but we will just let her be,” Beta Nick replied. “She's a strong one, I know she can handle it, that's why she hasn't spoke about it". Nina replied.



Mina applied make-up to cover the wrinkles left under her eyes due to crying because she knew nothing passes by her mother unnoticed. Checking whether everything was intact in her bag, she headed downstairs. “You are quite early today. Hope you had a nice sleep”. Nina spoke, glancing at her daughter. “Yes mom what's there for breakfast today?". Mina asked. “As usual your favorite, enjoy your meal hunny". Nina ruffled the top of her hair while heading towards the kitchen to fetch her daughter her meal. “Mom, where's dad?". Mina asked. “He has to attend some important meeting with the Alpha. They have to fix a date for Alex's coronation as the Alpha, which will be held during his birthday". Nina spoke over her shoulder. Mina stuffed the food into her mouth as if there was no tomorrow. Nina was intrigued by her daughter's attitude this morning. She laughed. “Why are you laughing mom?". Mina asked, confused by her mom's laughter. “You need to take your time sweetie else you will choke on your food". Nina explained. “It's not my fault you make delicious meals. I just can't help my unsatiated appetite". Mina replied. “All done, I have to go to school, mum". Mina said, “Take care and have a great day". Nina spoke while Mina opened her door to settle in the car.



Mina sped off to the pack house, getting out quickly as soon as she reached there. She made a mental note not to bump into Alex. She didn't want to act awkwardly towards him else he would suspect something was wrong. Guess the favor wasn't on her side when she bumped into a hard chest. Without a doubt, she realized it was Alex. She quickly regained her stance and bowed, saying sorry before walking into the house looking for Amya. “That's strange". Alex thought.“Did Mina really avoid him without saying hello? There's definitely something wrong with her today, he just let it slide and walked to the training grounds. They had to start training sessions with the warriors of the pack and he knew he was going to receive a lecture from Noah for being late on the first day. That guy is so time-conscious.



“Did you miss me ?". Alex asked Noah. “Get your ass over here dude". Noah spoke with venom. “Patience dude, let's begin". Alex spoke poking Noah's shoulder. “Everybody picks a partner and spars with him or her". Noah ordered. “What do you say about being my sparring partner" asked Alex, grinning. “Bring it on". Noah spoke. Although Alex was stronger than him due to his rank, this was definitely going to be fun and he could get to punch him as pay back for being late. Noah smirked.
