Alpha Alex excused himself by sending a mindlink to Noah and Mike to meet him in his office. Mike and Noah stood up immediately, walking after Alpha Alex in the direction of the office. Once the guys left, Gina looked at the girls in confusion. “What just happened here? Why did they stand up right after Alpha Alex stood up". She asked, waiting for an answer. “Well, what they just did was called mindlink. You will be able to do so once you and Mike mark each other, but that's your choice and Mike can not force you into it". Amya explained. Gina glanced at Mina, who nodded in response. ‘Really' Gina mouthed. “Yeah you get to know each other's emotions and thoughts through the link, but you can build a block to prevent him from hearing your thoughts". Mina explained, watching Gina's reactions keenly.



“Well, girls, we have some shopping to do. We need to hurry so we can make it back here in time". Amya explained, walking out of the pack house. There was a bodyguard standing in front of an SUV. “Since when did you get a bodyguard?". Mina asked, intrigued. “Well, when Noah treats me like I'm crippled and I can't do anything. I'm not complaining, but I think he's going overboard". Amya explained, smiling. “Wait, where's Gina? Didn't she follow you when we came out". Amya asked, looking around for her. “I'm here. I went to get my phone from the room. Let's go". Gina spoke. The girls sat in the backseat while the bodyguard, who was now recognized as Zander, started the drive. “Where are we going, ma'am". Zander asked, looking through the rearview mirror. “Well, to the favorite mall where I do my shopping". Amya replied, and Zander nodded in response. “You even have a mall?". Gina asked, completely surprised because she never expected them to have a mall on their own. “I'm hurt by your comment. You do belittle us. We have every facility in this place. I'm surprised Mina didn't tell you". Amya spoke feigning disbelief. Mina just chuckled. The rest of the drive was silent with Gina looking through the car window, impressed by the architecture. “We are here ladies". Zander spoke, stopping the car in front of the mall.



The girls got down and entered the mall. Gina stared at the big mall in awe. This is way nicer and more luxurious than the mall in the city. The shop attendant quickly showed them the way and the clothes they had in the shop. Amya dragged Mina to the baby's wardrobe, picking random clothes, asking for help here and there. Gina held the one sparkling dress that had caught her eyes since she entered the shop.



“Miss, I can see you are interested in this dress. It's our latest dress and it was handmade by the designer. You will look fine in it". The shop attendant spoke, noticing Gina's indecisive thoughts. “What's the price if I may ask?". Gina asked, hoping it wouldn't be more than a thousand dollars. “It's just forty thousand dollars, ma'am". The shop attendant spoke as if it was cheap. Gina handed the dress back to the shop attendant, who smiled. “I can see you like that dress. Just buy it alright, that's why Mike gave you his credit card". Amya spoke when she walked into the awkward atmosphere between Gina and the shop attendant. Gina nodded and handed the credit card to the shop attendant. “Don't tell me you ain't buying any undies to seduce Mike. What about you, Mina? You haven't bought anything since we entered. What are you thinking?". Amya asked. Mina just shrugged and allowed herself to be dragged by Amya, who kept picking up clothes of each kind for her. She was constantly pushed into the dressing room to change.



After an hour of shopping and choosing their favorite dresses and undergarments that caught their eye,they paid and left the mall. Zander drove them back to the pack house. Upon reaching the pack house, the guys were already standing in front of the pack house waiting for them. They helped move their shopping bags upstairs. “Hope you had fun?". Alex asked Mina. “It was fun and I enjoyed it but I think I'm really tired". Mina explained. Alex nodded. After stuffing the new clothes and undergarments into the wardrobe,Mina took a cold bath to relax her sore muscles. She walked into the room and slept on the bed. The bed dipped and she realized the figure who had joined her. She snuggled closer into Alex's chest.



The next day, Mina woke up early and took part in the early morning training sessions. After breakfast, she showed Gina around the pack house and some of their history. During the afternoon, while Mina was sipping her orange juice in the garden, she noticed a presence. She glanced up and noticed it was Luna Ayla. “Hi aunt". Mina whispered. “May I join you?". Luna Ayla asked. Mina nodded and placed the juice on the cushion table beside her. “So I've been wanting to have this conversation with you as a former Luna but I just felt you weren't ready. I think now is the time". Luna Ayla explained, in which Mina looked at her in confusion. “It's no big deal, but I just wanted to tell you not to deny the mate bond and accept it fully. I know my son is of challenge to you, but can you give him a chance? You will be stronger together if you mate and mark. I'm not deciding for the two of you. I know you are mature enough to make decisions on your own, but take it as advice from a concerned mother. I would also like to start grooming you for the Luna duties.What do you say about that? Is that a deal". Luna Ayla explained, waiting for Mina's response. After some silence she nodded. “Well, I will take my leave. Let's start tomorrow. I take it Amya stressed you out yesterday on your shopping spree. I render my apologies for that. She has become extra since she got pregnant.". The Luna apologized for her daughter's actions. “I have no problem with that aunt. She's my best friend and I got her back". Mina explained. “Thanks for your understanding. I would beg to take my leave. See you tomorrow". Luna Ayla spoke. “Bye aunt". Mina waved back.



Once Luna Ayla left, she pondered on what she said. There was no harm in knowing the duties expected of her as a Luna. “I heard my mom paid you a visit in the garden. Did she pressure you into something". Alpha Alex asked while they were lying in the bed. “Nothing I couldn't handle, she just wants to start teaching me the Luna duties". Mina explained, leaving the part about them getting along. “Alright it's late,good night". Alex spoke and kissed her forehead.



The rest of the days in a row,Mina learnt the duties of being a Luna, from protecting and caring for the pack members to assisting her mate when he needs support. It was fun and interesting. Luna Ayla made everything as simple as possible and she enjoyed the week despite being stressful. She had some breaks in which she had fun times with the other girls. Being a Luna was going to be interesting and she was happy and proud to be one.
