Trip back to the pack house

It was more than a three-hour drive and the atmosphere in the car was awkward. “So how long till we reach there?". Gina asked, breaking the silence in the car. Mina and Alex seemed lost in thoughts while Mike was busy focusing on the road. “We will be reaching there soon". Mike spoke, glancing backwards to look at the couple sitting in the backseat. He couldn't believe they had found Mina and he had also come back home with a mate. It was a dream come true and his mate didn't give him a tough time. She just handled the information very well for a human. But he realized she talks a lot and doesn't take a no for an answer. “I love her feisty nature". Milo spoke through the link. “That's a grand way to make an entry buddy". Mike chuckled, making Gina look at him in confusion. “Sorry about that I was talking to my wolf.



Did I scare you?". Mike asked, concerned. Gina chuckled and laughed, snapping the silent couple from their thoughts. “What's funny?". Mike asked, making Mina raise an eyebrow, grinning their way to wait for the performance displayed by the couple in front of her. “Your eyes just changed colour but I'm not scared one bit. I just find it interesting. Can I also do some when we fully mate". Gina whispered the last part, blushing. “I got you babe. It's your choice. I can decide to change you into a werewolf, which requires a lot of energy, or you could decide to still be human. Your choice, not mine". Mike explained, amused by his mate's reaction. He was expecting her to be scared, not interested. He has a lot to learn about this woman. “I can't believe I did something crazy. I just followed you just like that. What if you are some cult and you want to use me for rituals? It's not too late to change my mind, right?". Gina asked. It was the turn for Mike and Mina to laugh. Mina laughed hard, clutching her stomach. “Are you for real girl? If I was part of a cult, I would have sacrificed you for a long time with that sharp mouth of yours". Mina spoke, glancing at Gina who was ready to throw a tantrum.



Alpha Alex just remained quiet staring at the interactions between the people in the car. “Alright lest I forget, I left my car behind". Mina said, tapping her face because of forgetting something so important. “Don't worry, I will have someone transfer it over to the pack house". Alpha Alex spoke for the first time since the ride. “Wow, this place is a city on it's own. I love it already". Gina exclaimed when Mike gestured for the security guards at the entrance to open the door. “Wait till you see the pack house. It's even amazing". Mike explained, chuckling at his mate's behavior. “I can't believe you left this awesome place to come to the small city, Mina. You really amaze me". Gina explained, looking at Mina, who just smiled, showing her pearly white teeth.



Arriving at the pack house,they alighted from the car. Alpha Alex went to open the door for Mina, which she just chuckled in response. “Omg this is so amazing, so how many people live here". Gina exclaimed. “Well, it's me and Alex, Mike,Noah and his mate, the rest are just workers,they have their own houses. The previous leaders had relocated but they visit once in a while. But this is now your home. The first floor is for Mike and his mate, which happens to be you. The second is for Amya and her mate, who is the Beta, and the last floor is for me and Alex". Mina explained, studying Gina's reactions. “Let's enter. I bet Mike can't wait to introduce you to the rest of the pack". Mina spoke and chuckled. Walking through the hallway, Gina glanced at all the portraits on the wall. They looked so magnificent. The Omegas, as described by Mina, bow once they approach them and Mina explained everybody is treated with love in this pack, irrespective of their rank. They sat on the sofa when they entered the living room. “I've already spoken to our family through the link that we are back and I have good news for them. They will be here in some few minutes". Alpha Alex explained to Mina, who just nodded in understanding.



“Honey, are you ready? Alpha Alex just sent a link that he is back and he has some good news". Beta Nick spoke, looking up at his mate who was climbing down the stairs. “Do you think that's what we think it is". Nina spoke, glancing at her mate. “I miss our daughter already. I just want her to come home and she surely deserves a scolding for leaving the pack without informing us. “We were the last to hear about her disappearance". Nina explained seriously, earning a chuckle from her mate, who just nodded in response.
