“Luna, my mother told me to bring these fruits to you". Mira explained, handing a basket full of fruit to Mina, who accepted it with a smile. “You've already the hearts of the kids. I can't imagine you being a mother." Amya teased. “I agree with you". Gina spoke, earning a glare from Mina. “Who wants to hear a story?". Gina spoke to the pubs gathered, ignoring her friends. “Meeeeee!!!", the pubs cheered, raising their hands. “Well, what story do we have here with you today". Mina asked, observing one particular shy boy in the corner holding tightly a storybook. Mina walked over to his side and bent down to his height. “Hey Joe, what do you say about us reading your story book today?". Mina asked. The other pubs turned his way grinning and amused. They all knew Joe was a shy boy who refused to mingle with the rest. “Sure Luna". Joe smiled and handed the book to Mina, who received it happily. “Thank you". Mina mouthed and walked back to her seat.



She opened the book and started reading to the kids who were staring at her with interest, eager to know the ending. By the time Mina finished reading, the majority of the kids had fallen asleep on the mat with the exception of Joe, who was looking at him. “That is a sad story. Why didn't they marry?". Joe asked, intrigued. Mina chuckled and tapped her lap for him to climb up. He looked keenly at the Luna before making slow steps towards her. Mina grabbed him and placed him on her lap. “Not all stories have a happy ending. But there's a nice story book you have here. Who bought it for you?". Mina asked, interested. “ It's daddy who bought it for me". Joe replied. Mina ruffled his hair, rocking him back and forth. By the time she realized,Joe was also asleep.



“You are really good with kids". Mike spoke, stepping in with Alpha Alex and Beta Noah. “Shhhh". Mina said, putting her hands on her lips. “Keep your voice down,I don't want the kids to wake up. Let them enjoy their sleep". Mina explained, glancing at her mate, who offered her a smile. “Mind if I lift him off your lap". Alpha Alex asked, stopping in front of his mate. “I would love it. My legs feel numb. He's quite heavy for a kid. His demeanor reminds me of Noah's attitude when we were kids. He is a shy one". Mina mumbled, handing Joe over to Alex, who rested his head on his shoulder. Noah grinned, looking at his mate who was asleep in the chair. “I guess you did this on your own since Amya didn't do anything". Noah asked concerned.



“Don't worry, she's of great help. She gives me morale, like Gina, and I appreciate their presence, knowing fully they got my back. I think you need to get her to rest. She didn't listen to me when I told her to". Mina expressed happily. “Thanks". Mike responded by lifting his mate up in his arms as if she weighed nothing. “Mike, can you mindlink the parents to come pick up their wards". Mina asked. “Sure Luna". Mike spoke sarcastically. He knew Mina didn't like formality when they were involved. Mina glared back at him, which earned a chuckle from Mike. A few minutes later, the parents of the pubs gathered to pick up their kids one by one and thanked Mina for taking care of their wards. It was left with her alone and Alpha Alex since everyone left already. “It's late, let's go inside". Alpha Alex spoke, offering Mina a hand. She gladly took it and stood up smiling at Alex, who smiled back. She had been getting closer and opening up to Alex but she wasn't ready to mate yet, but now they were back in the friendship zone. Although her wolf has been telling her otherwise. She normally blocks her when she suggests things like that before she makes them do something they are not ready for.



Alpha Alex opened the door once they reached the room and ushered Mina in, following closely behind her. He slammed the door shut, which startled Mina, who glared at him. Mina dashed into the washroom and came out a few minutes later wrapped in a towel. Alex looked at her with a lustful gaze. Kairo begs him to fuck their mate until she thrashes under them. Alex blocked him out and chuckled, clearing the tension. “As much I would love to see you almost naked all the time, I would prefer you wear something as soon as possible. I'm fighting my wolf to stay in control". Alex whispered. Mina hurried into the walk in closet blushing immensely. After changing into her favorite pyjamas, she walked to the side of the bed to sleep beside Alex. Lying down on the bed, she asked “Won't you take a shower?". “I did before coming into the garden to fetch you". Alex explained lying still on the bed. Mina smiled and drifted into sleep.



“Why is this place so dark?". Mina asked. “Don't be scared my dear. Come closer",a voice spoke, startling her. She walked towards the direction of the light and reached a garden full of beautiful flowers. “Where am I and why am I here?". Mina shouted, which resounded with an echo. She had no idea where she was. Soon a beautiful lady clothed in silver apparel and long white hair approached her. She looked so radiant and beautiful. Mina got frightened when she realized who was in front of her. This is the same description of the moon goddess which she was taught when she was a child, but why was she standing in front of her? She remembered you only see the moon goddess when you die. “Wait, I'm I dead because I don't understand why I can see you". Mina asked, approaching the lady slowly. “I'm Selene the moon goddess and you are not dead. I just brought you here for some few minutes to explain some things to you". Mina nodded.



“I know you don't understand why I paired you with Alpha Alex despite making you see all his scandals. I was preparing you to be stronger than any wolf. You are the only one who can help Alex rule with power. But there's a prophecy concerning the birth of gifted twins who will bring peace and harmony to the werewolf community, eliminating all rogues. And you standing here are their mother. I was preparing you for what was yet to come, so you will be stronger. The werewolf community knows about this prophecy and the majority will seek after your kids because of their greed. It's up to you and your mate to protect the kids and together everything will be alright. But you don't have to tell anyone about this except your mate when you wake up. Your wolf will inform you about the right time to tell others. I would oblige you to accept Alex fully and stop resisting the bond,it will make you weaker. Farewell my child". With that, the moon goddess vanished, jolting her awake. “What's wrong?". Alex asked, concerned. It appeared as if his mate had had a nightmare. “I saw the moon goddess". Mina spoke, surprising Alex, who looked at her as if she had grown two heads.
