The twins

It has been three years already and Mina has delivered. Leo, being the first born and the heir to the Alpha throne, was the spitting image of Alex, while Lilliana resembled Mina with the exception of her jet black hair that she took from her father. Alex doted on his children a lot, especially his daughter.



“Dad,Leo stuck a chewing gum on my scalp". Lilliana whined with tears streaming down her face. “Let me have a look at it". Alex turned her around, removing the gum which pulled some strands of her hair along. “It's not that bad". Alex explained, wiping her tears. “Leo, where the hell are you?". Alex shouted, startling Lilliana, who just giggled. “Dad, I'm here". Leo spoke standing in front of his dad, smiling sheepishly. “What did I tell you about bullying your sister?" Alex asked, raising his eyebrows. “You said I shouldn't hurt her but, dad, we were just playing". Leo explained with a smirk. “Apologize to your sister now or face my wrath". Alex warned. “You are such a cry baby".Leo murmured under his breath. His sister was the nagging type,any little thing she would snitch. “Do you want me to cease your video games"? Alex smirked, enjoying the show. “I'm sorry Lily". Leo explained using her nickname. “That's much better". Alex explained hugging both of them. He had seen a lot of twins getting along but his children were different. Leo was the brave, naughty and smarter kid, while Lilliana was calm and smart. They were like water and fire. Whenever they played, it was either Lily came back crying or there was a fight between them and he had to separate them.



“Who's in for some cookies?". Mina spoke, entering the living room with the baked chocolate cookies. “Me". The kids run towards their mom each grabbing a piece of the cookies from the tray and munching onto the cookies. “How about you Alex?". Mina asked, raising her eyebrows. “I would love to". Alex explained, grabbing a piece. “Where you going to eat without me?". The kids turned when they recognized their grandma. “Grandma",they squealed, rushing to hug Nina. “Where's grandpa?". Leo asked, looking behind his grandma. “Here I come and look what I got you". Noah explained by stepping in. “A toy car". Leo screamed, hugging his grandpa. “What about me grandpa?". Lily asked, pouting her lips. “Grandma got you a barbie doll". Noah explained, “Yay, you are the best. Grandma, come, let's play with my new doll". Lily spoke, dragging her grandma to the sofa.

“Mum, I'm going to be late for school". Leo protested when Mina was busy braiding Lily's hair. “Give me five minutes. I will finish soon". Mina explained. “But Xavier is waiting for us in uncle Noah's car. He's going to drop us at school today". Leo spoke angrily. “Sorry son". Alex spoke ruffling his hair. “I'm not a child's dad". Leo protested, fixing his messy hair. Mina laughed and placed their lunch boxes in their bags, waving them goodbye as they hurried off into Noah's car.



“I look like a ball". Gina protested, sipping her orange juice. “You look beautiful". Mina answered, smiling at her friend who would be due in two weeks' time. “How is the business going on?". Amya asked Mina, who smiled in response. “The restaurant is flourishing as usual. It's been a while I visited there". Mina explained, focusing on painting her toenails. “That sounds good. I'm happy for you". Amya explained. “Guys guess what?" Amya asked. The Luna and gamma female snapped their heads looking at the beta female. “Noah proposed yesterday and I said yes". Amya explained in a hushed tone. “I'm happy for you", the Luna and gamma female replied in unison. They chuckled at their actions.



“How was school today?". Alex asked his son, knowing his great dislike of schooling despite being the first in his class all the time. “It was boring dad. That weird teacher gave us lots of homework because tomorrow is a holiday". Leo explained, dropping his bag on the sofa. “Daddy". Lily screamed, rushing towards her dad, who caught her and spun her around. “Where you giving any homework today?". Alex asked and she nodded. “Mom can you help me solve these maths questions?". Leo asked, showing his homework book to Mina, who was playing with her phone. “Your dad is better at maths than me, but I can try". Mina explained, taking the pen from her son. “But daddy is playing with Lily". Leo explained, annoyed. Lily was a spoilt brat but he wasn't going to voice it out because he was a mummy's boy. “Are you jealous son?" Mina asked, raising her eyebrows. “No I'm not". Leo sneered, focusing on his book.



“Aunt Amya, did you cook this food today?"Lily asked, seeing that most of the dishes were her favorite. “At your service your highness". Amya spoke with a smile. “You are the best aunty in the whole world". Lily exclaimed, biting into her chicken. Leo chuckled at his twin's reaction and rolled his eyes. “Can we play video games after this?". Xavier spoke, looking at Leo, who nodded his head. Mike looked at his nephews and smiled. In a few days, he will also be a father. “I bet Aunt Gina will give birth to a boy so the three of us can play football". Leo spoke, looking at Gina's belly. “Nope, it's a girl. You have Xavier to play with, so I also need someone to play with". Lily explained, folding her arms. “Don't argue over this, you can all play together whether it's a boy or a girl". Gina interrupted, ending the argument between the twins. She had decided not to check the gender of her child, but whatever she would give birth to, she would dote on the child.

While the boys were playing video games,Lily played barbie with her grandma Ayla, who taught her how to braid. “Grandma, who taught you how to braid this nicely?". Lily asked in confusion, staring at the doll's hairstyle. “You will be perfect when you become like me". Luna Ayla explained, smiling at her grandaughter's childishness. “Really,then can I braid your hair, grandma?" Lily asked, staring at her grandma who smiled and nodded.
