“What are you girls talking about?". Mike asked, grabbing his son from his mate. “Girls talk,we are not going to tell you". Amya explained, glaring at him. “Suit yourself, I'm not going to press you further". Noah chuckled and climbed the stairs with his son lying on his shoulder. “Good night ladies". Noah shouted over his shoulder. Amya excused herself and followed her mate. She was feeling sleepy and Gina had been draining her with questions. She couldn't leave her alone when she was worried. It was good she clarified things to her before she made assumptions.



Gina dressed in the seductive lingerie she bought with Mina and Amya in the mall while shopping the other time. She had been anticipating her mate's arrival in the room. Mike explained he would be late than usual since there were some documents in the office that needed to be attended to. She glanced at the wall clock, checking the time. She played with her phone to kill time.



A few minutes later, Mike stepped into the room and switched on the lights. He was surprised his mate was still awake. “Why are you still awake? It's late". Mike asked, raising his eyebrows in confusion. “I was waiting for you". Gina explained, pouting her lips. “But you could have switched the lights on rather than lying in the dark". Mike whined and rushed into the bathroom, closing the door with a loud thud. Gina giggled at his actions. She made sure the door to the bathroom was perfectly closed with no loopholes. She switched off the light and started lighting up the scented candles. By the time she was done, she got rid of her robe and sat on the edge of the bed waiting patiently for Mike.



“Why are the lights off? What the hell happened in here". Mike whispered, stepping into the room, wiping his wet hair. “Gina, what are you wearing? Are you trying to seduce me". Mike asked, raising his eyebrows in amusement. Gina giggled and got up in a hurry but she slipped. Mike grabbed hold of her before she fell on the floor. He stared deep into his mate's eyes, which swirled with lust and determination. Mike bent down and kissed her. The kiss intensified and Mike gently placed his mate on the bed, hovering over her. He maintained his balance and rested on his elbows, not putting much pressure on his mate. Mike took time taking in his mate's beauty. “How long is it going to take for us to land?". Mina asked the air stewardess, who smiled and showed two fingers. “The plane will land in two minutes' time, ma'am". She explained, walking over to the next passenger on the plane who needed her assistance. “This is one of the reasons why I hate public transportation." Alex groaned, annoyed. He had intended using the private jet but Mina insisted they board the normal plane back home so they could surprise their friends and family. Dragging her luggage behind her, which she protested when Alex offered help with carrying it, she walked into the cab Alex had ordered. The driver placed the luggage into the boot of the car and drove in the direction given to him by Alex. Mina sat in the backseat playing music with her airpods on. “Miss, we have arrived". The driver shouted, alerting Mina, who had refused to answer despite her husband tapping her. She was so engrossed in the music that she forgot what was happening around her. Mina got startled and hit her head on the roof. “Thanks", she whispered, getting out of the cab. Alex laughed while she rubbed her forehead due to the hit on the car. “So what now?". Mina asked. “I asked a friend who stayed in this town to lend me his car". Alex explained, pointing towards the deep blue jeep parked in front of them. Mina smiled and followed her mate into the car sitting in the passenger seat.



“You are fully marked, Gina. I didn't know you were dead serious yesterday". Amya exclaimed, looking at the slight bruise on the gamma female's neck. It would have healed by now if she had possessed werewolf genes, but because she was a human,it would take time, but now she was fully bonded to Mike. “Did you take into consideration anything you would lose once you turned into a werewolf on the full moon". Amya asked, concerned. Mike glared at his cousin who was pestering his mate with personal questions. Why did the moon goddess even bless Noah with such a nuisance? He chuckled. Although he loved his cousin like his own sister he never had,they never agreed on anything. They always picked fights about little things. Everyone thought things would change when they grew up but it became worse instead. “Don't interrupt me ag....." Amya didn't finish talking when she noticed her brother and sister-in-law. She squealed and embraced Mina in a bone-crushing hug. Mina and Alex had been standing at the entrance amused by the fight between Mike and Amya. Those two act like kids sometimes. “I thought you were supposed to come the day after tomorrow. What changed your mind?". Amya asked, offering a helping hand. The gamma and beta males went ahead to help their Alpha with the luggage and welcomed them back home.



“Why did you cut your trip short?". Noah asked, confused. “Because Mina wanted to come claiming she missed you guys and wanted to surprise you. I wonder what she's married to. Me or the pack". Alex spoke in an indifferent tone. When Mina brought up the suggestion, he didn't like the idea but he didn't want to disappoint his mate, so he agreed to come back home with her two days before the exact day of their return. The gamma and beta males stifled laughter. Alex glared intensely at them.



“Where's my godson?". Mina asked, taking a seat on the sofa. “He's fast asleep". Amya explained. “So was the honeymoon. Give me the gist of it. I'm really curious about it". Amya asked but Mina shook her, not giggling. “Congratulations Gina. I'm happy for you". Mina replied, hugging the official gamma female. Gina blushed at the reminder of yesterday. “So how were things in the pack while we left for the trip?". Mina blurted out, looking at the beta and gamma female. “It was very goo...". They were interrupted by the cries of Xavier. “That's my call to leave. See you around later" Amya replied, rushing upstairs. “Don't look at me. I have no idea what you are talking about?" Gina explained and scurried away.
