A Bandwagon Of Entitlement(Cont’d)
Aliyah's POV
"What? You can't possibly mean that. Now I know you are a real joker." I said and scoffed. She obviously did not want to tell me who.
Maybe he looked too terrible and she didn't want me to find out that she had no taste in men.
"I meant it. Wesley and I used to be close. I was his secretary and it demanded that I be everywhere with him. So I used to travel with him and I was a lot more fashionable. I thought he liked me enough to leave his stupid childhood lover but he never did. And yet, on the wedding day. He didn't show up. Just called it off and no one knew what was happening." She said and I realized that she was serious about what she was telling me.
"Wesley? I mean the Alpha of Red Blood Pack, Alpha Wesley." I asked to be sure. This had definitely taken a turn I never saw coming. My mind went back to Devon but I quickly pushed his thoughts aside. There was something bigger and better in front of me and a plan immediately started forming in my mind.
"Yes. The same one. I had to resign and leave. He told me off rudely one night and I never went back. The embarrassment was a lot and I didn't even do anything that serious." She snorted and hissed.
"What exactly did you do for him to treat you like that?" I asked so I could avoid doing the same thing when it came to me.
"You are definitely interested in this. Why?" She asked me. Usually, I didn't pay any mind to anything she said. She could be here and try to speak to me for hours but I would only nod or grunt in response.
"I just never expected that you had these sides to you. Seems pretty interesting and fun. I don't think whatever happened is enough for you to coop yourself in your apartment every day. You should let go of that feeling." I tried advising her so she could kill all the feelings she had for Wesley if there were any left.
"The only thing I feel for that ungrateful user is hatred and a burning need for revenge." She sneered and I looked at her shocked.
"Or you could take out the only obstruction to you being his woman," I suggested, a mischievous smile playing on my lips.
“What if he still doesn't want me?" She said, her vulnerability and inferiority complex screaming around her.
"What exactly did you do the day he spoke to you rudely?" I asked her, still curious about what someone like her would have done and how far she would go to prove her feelings for him.
"I stripped naked in his office. He walked in on me doing that and had me thrown out still unclad. We had done everything work-related together before this time and he was really nice and kind to me. I would work extra hours, tirelessly to ensure that everything is put in its proper place." She explained and my jaw dropped to the ground.
"You shouldn't give up. You should tell the Alpha how you truly feel. He will soon be getting married to a total stranger. Even though she is my sister, I know you are the one who truly deserves to be with him." I said to her and beamed with a happy smiles.
"Your sister? The incoming Luna is your sister? Are you not upset that I am talking about being obsessed with your sister's husband?" She asked me, looking bewildered and baffled.
"I do not like her so much myself. Back in Omnidom, no one respected her or cared about her existence. Even the man who just left was my boyfriend whom she tried to take away from me and it didn't work. I am only here because our mother insisted we make peace. She is really not all that something special. You can have her taken out of the way and your Wesley will be yours. All you have to do is approach him in a better way." I said and began to plan my next line of action.
If Cecilia took out Elena, I would have enough alone time with Wesley and then my plans would progress better as I would only have one thing to worry about. Which is to get Wesley to act on the feelings that I have seen him show me. Elena's presence was really ruining a lot of things for me but with Cecelia's help now, I had one less thing to worry about.
"You don't mean it? It's only because Wesley treats her that way that everyone here respects her. If there was a way to show them that she was not really anything special, then they would treat her the way she rightfully deserves." She sneered angrily.
"So what do you think we can do to get her out of the way so you can take your rightful place as the Luna of the pack and Wesley's bride?" I asked her, wanting to know if she had any ideas in her head.
"I will come up with one in the morning. But, we need to stay so close to them, yet so far." She said and I wondered why she was saying we, I realised that I had said that too so I was now fully involved in plotting the downfall of my sister.
"Alright then. Let me know what you come up with." I said and she stood up to leave.
"I have to go now. I like to take long baths before I sleep." She said and I wondered how that was any business of mine but nodded anyway and saw her off to the door.
My phone beeped after the door closed behind and it was a text from Devon.
"One last chance to meet me at the airport before I leave. Gate F." The text read. I deleted it and blocked his number.
Tomorrow was a new day and I had a big plan in motion.
