"Are you all kidding with me? Then what about the wolf story " he mocked "check the door Seth". Oliver said, and the others looked at her in confusion and she rolled her eyes in annoyance and shouted "just stay at the door and make sure no one comes in"
Seth walked to the door, peeping outside as he was still confused about what Olivia was up to, just then he heard some bone cracking noise and when he turned back and his eyes widen and his mouth open.But then he's eyes met Adam who was on the floor and was scared to the marrow, Jupiter was laughing loud as Olivia black wolf transformed back to human.
"What was that?" Adam stammered as he stood up but stared backward.
" What did you see?" Olivia asked with a smile as Seth walked back to them.
" I thought wolves don't exist?" He shouted in fear.
"But you just saw one now" Jupiter laughed.
"This isn't funny, you're a wolf too?" He pointed at Jupiter.
"Mine is complicated"she frowned.
"I'll like to know" turned to Seth.
"why did you hide all this?"
"Because they trust me to keep their secrets" Seth answered with a frown
"Can we even trust you?"
"As long as you don't eat people, then I can keep any secret, but if you do, I'll tell this to the principal" he warned, and they laughed.
"He would eat you up himself" Jupiter said "He called me princess, I'm the wolf princess and he is my subject"
"He's a wolf too?" He's eyes widen, and they nodded "How many more wolves here?" He asked in panic
"We have just two wolves, Olivia and Mr Fredrick" Seth answered
We're werewolves and not wolves" Olivia corrected
"How is she the wolf princess when she's not a wolf?" He asked in confusion
"She's human, adopted and trained by the royal family" Olivia answered and he nodded in understanding.
"Any more things I should know?" He asked
"Jupiter would tell you everything, let's get back to our class" Seth said as they move out of the hall.
"I and Adam would be acting the part of a boyfriend and girlfriend "
Jupiter said as they down to the hall and the others turn to her own with surprise on their face. "What?"
"But........" Seth tried to speak
"Don't think too much, it's just an act for the school with the purpose of making Chloe jealous and stay away from Adam" she rolled her eyes.
"You can make the acting real, you" both matches greatly. Olivia smiled, and Jupiter eyed her secretly.
"We are fine like this "Adam said with a smile "you and Seth match perfectly well".
"That's just a joke Seth laughed, 'see you later"
Seth and Olivia moved into the class, leaving Jupiter and Adam to walk back to their class.
Andrea stood at the door as they got in, not giving them some space, Olivia brushed past him without hesitation and Seth joined her as Andrea moved to attack them but was stopped by one of his teammates.
"He's protecting you from getting more broken bones" Seth laughed as he sat down"
"Ignore the fool, if he gets on my nerves I won't hesitate to pull out his thirty-two" Olivia said to Seth with a smile.
"You got a pretty wolf Olivia "he smiled " it's all black"
"I trim it most times with the help of Jupiter " she grinned.
"I'll get to touch it one day, right?" He asked with a puppy face.
"don't give me that face, it doesn't affect me, Jupiter tries it every day " Olivia laughed.
"Not when I give you that face all day" he pleaded keeping the face and Olivia laughed louder,
"Fine, you won. You'll get too touch my wolf just once " she answered,
"What about a ride?" He grinned, and Olivia eye popped out in surprise,
"No one has ever ridden on me" she replied,
"And why is that?" Seth questioned,
"Because I'm scared of something, thought you got no feelings" he raised his brows and Olivia stared at him blankly.
I have feelings and emotions, I don't use them because of some reasons.
"What reasons?" He asked curiously,
"Don't want to talk about that now" she answered as she thought about her brother and younger sister which she must fight like she got no feelings for them. Seth noticed the change in her looks, her face had suddenly become moody and he knew he has gone too far "I'm sorry" he apologized patting her back.
"Sorry? About what?" She asked curiously as she straighten up her face to act like nothing happened.
"Went too far," Seth answered, "I asked you too many questions"
"Come on, that's not it, I'm okay she smiled, and it looked so real, but Seth could swear that the smile was fake.
"I'll appreciate a more genuine smile Olivia" he stared, and she laughed.
"It's funny how you could easily read my expression, no one have ever been able to do that except Jupiter who is naturally gifted with a lot and now you" she narrated in laughter
"Maybe because I'm attracted to you" he smiled, and Olivia laughed died down and she froze, she stared at Seth.
"What did you say?" She whispered to in disbelief.
"I like you and I'm attracted to you", he repeated with more seriousness and she became even more speechless, no one had ever told her that, everyone had been scared of her for so many reasons, she thought no one would ever tell her those words not until today and she had never been bothered about it because she didn't want to get attached to anyone, her life was a risky one and anyone with her was taking risk, that's why she had intentionally pushed everyone away, it was better to lose the relationship she had with them than lose them to death.
"Thanks Seth, but you'll get over that. it would fade away", she smiled and got up, "excuse me, I'll like to use the rest room", she walked away leaving Seth.
The teacher left the class and the class suddenly became noisy and Adam turned to Jupiter immediately.
"We've got a lot to talk about, so start now" he said, and Jupiter laughed.
"There's nothing else to talk about, I left my kingdom to begin a new life outside because I wasn't wanted there," she answered.
"Why?" He asked curiously as he straighten up,
"Because I got no wolf, no wolf ability either and my twin sister had a wolf, I was ..."
"You have a twin?"he interrupted as his eyes widen in surprise "identical?",
"She's not exactly my twin, I was adopted on the same day she was born, I'm human and she's a wolf. My parents kept that secret from the entire community and they all believe I'm the king's biological daughter" she explained,
"Why would he hide that information?" He asked angrily,
"Because he was trying to protect me, he didn't want them to know I'm human, they would have killed me. The wolves hate the humans, but the Royal family loved me. I was only told I was human on my 19th birthday, the same day I met Seth at the boundary between our kingdom and the human world" she narrated the other experience and Adam listened quietly without interruptions, she explained why she came with Olivia.
"It's really an extraordinary story. I won't have believed anything you said if I hadn't seen Olivia's transformation" Adam said when she was done.
"I'm fine and I can cope perfectly in the human world" she said with a smile.
"But your hair and colored eyes makes you less human"he said with so much seriousness
"It's a natural gift" she smiled proudly,
"You mentioned something like sharp hearing ability, destroying boundaries, foreseeing and some other things" he mentioned.
"Yes, I said all that and it's a natural gift" she answered again.
"What If it's not?" He asked with a frown and moved closer to whisper, "what if I call you a witch",
She stared at him and then began laughing but stopped when she noticed his expression hadn't changed a bit,
"Wait? Don't tell me you're serious, why do you say so?" She asked frowning in great confusion,
"Because I'm a wizard" he answered, and she moved backwards till she got to the edge of the desk then he started laughing "okay, I'm joking.can you join me home after school? I have something to show you".
"I need to inform Olivia about it first" she answered rolling her eyes as she refused coming closer to him and he laughed.
"How could you accept and buy the idea of going to his house?"Olivia grumbled as she stood outside with Jupiter.
"I haven't accepted yet, he asked that I should come over and I said I have to Inform you first and that's what I'm doing" Jupiter answered frowning,
"So, what now?" She asked, "we aren't going with them".
"I'll go tell them your answer and you'll look like a bad person" Jupiter folded her hands and looked away,
"That's not a big deal, I mostly don't care about people's feeling"she answered and walked to the boys and Jupiter trailed behind her with a frown.
"So?" Adam asked with a smile but the look on Olivia face gave him the answer.
"We aren't coming with you, we need to go home and rest" Olivia replied,
"Why speaking on Jupiter's behalf?" Seth asked and earned an angry glare from Olivia who has been avoiding him after she came back from the rest room.
"I don't want to rest, I would love to come but I'll need Olivia along with me" she answered
"And as your bodyguard, I'll say no, a big one" Olivia shouted.
"Jupiter? Do you let people make decisions for you?" Seth asked,
"Why are you so eager to bring her to your house?"Olivia attacked Adam ignoring Seth,
"Because I have something to show her and not just her, all of you" Adam answered.
"We aren't interested" Olivia answered bluntly and looked away,
"What's all this blabbing Olivia?" Seth raised his voice "is it because you're trying to a avoid me, because of what I said in class?"
"What happened?",
"What did you say?",
Jupiter and Adam asked simultaneously as the looked at the two people curiously and waiting for an answer,
"Nothing, it's nothing" Olivia answered the two angrily,
"I would leave if you don't want me around. But I think what Adam want to show Jupiter is important and I'm curious as well, so let's end this and you could avoid me tomorrow at school" Seth said, and Olivia swallowed hard before biting her lower lips.
"Olivia?" Jupiter called "you both can settle your issues later, for now let's see what's so important that Adam have for us".
"Fine", she rolled her eyes "you won, can we go now?" She asked, and the two people laughed except Seth and they walked to Olivia's car, she threw the keys into the air and Seth caught it, he was going to drive.
"I hope you don't kill us Seth" Jupiter said as he started the car and others laughed.
The car rolled into a big milky storey building, it had two floors and it was beautifully painted with flowers orderly arranged.
"Your house is beautiful" Jupiter said with a smile.
"You live alone?" Olivia asked as they stepped out of the car, she turned to look around
"I stay with my father" he smiled,
"And your mother?" Jupiter asked,
"You have heard stories of mothers who run away leaving their unborn children to the father, well that's my story too", he said as he led them into the house and called "father?"
Seth joined him inside and the girls followed suit, the house was a very big one and behind it was a farm house. The girls looked round, studying the house and smiling at the pictures they saw on the wall, Adams baby picture and that of his father. He looked so much like his father but when they moved to the next picture and saw the beautiful woman, it was obvious that Adam was his mother's child, the resemblance was striking, and they shared the same physical feature.
"What are you both staring at?" They heard a different voice and turned to meet an older man, from the pictures they had seen, they knew he was Adams father, he had a lovely smile on his face.
"Good afternoon sir" Olivia and Jupiter greeted in unison as they smiled back at the man.
"Call me Jordan"he smiled "Adam doesn't bring friends home"
"Ehm, we are schoolmates"Jupiter answered as she looked around for Seth and Adam who hasn't appeared since they got in.
"Not even school mates, no friends home except Seth. And you both are girls, that is not Adam" He said still holding a smile and the girls stared back at the man speechless and then the boys walked out with trays of drinks and placed it on the table.
"Sit down" Adam said to them as he handed them their drinks and finally joined Seth at the opposite chair, but the older man was still standing.
"Father meet Jupiter and Olivia, the new students in school I told you about" Adam introduced "And this is my father, he loves to be called Jordan".
