"You're amazing, so amazing. I thought you were still on the basics with Adam. How could you have gotten to Jordans level and even beyond him", Laura said as a tear fell off her eyes and she pulled Jupiter into a hug, "I'm proud of you darling. I'm so proud and happy that I have you"
"Thanks so much, mother", Jupiter grinned excitedly and disengage from the hug.
"Then we got no time to waste, she would move to the next level" Mercury jumped happily
"It's your turn to teach her" Adam said with a smile to Laura
"She's gone beyond us" Jordan laughed
"What would you teach her?" Olivia popped in immediately and they all turned to Laura waiting for an answer.
"Do you mind knowing how to fly?" Laura asked with a grinned and Jupiters eyes widen, everyone in the room gasp, she had never thought that one day in her life, she would have all this power and this people who cherished her this much, she nodded excitedly.
"I would love to learn too" Adam said immediately as he was so eager to learn how to fly too.
"The it would be a pleasure to teach you both and when you're good at flying, I'll show you how to transport, like to appear and vanish" she demonstrated by flickering her fingers and they all laughed loudly.
"There isn't so much to do, since everything obeys the queen and princess" Jordan explained, "all you need to know is the spell and chants and you're going to read a lot of witch book and you'll become a wonderful witch".
"So, if I read the witch books and spell, would I be able to cast spells?" Seth asked and they all laughed.
"You're a human, no matter the spells you read, you can't cast a spell or do anything", Laura answered, and he frowned
"I'm actually the only human here", he frowned and they all looked at him, understanding how he felt.
"You're perfect the way you are" Jupiter said and walked closer to him, she held his hands tightly "you're the most intelligent, smartest and bravest person I've ever met. You could easily associate with us not regarding us as monsters, you were brave and easily earned our trust, we don't trust humans, you became my first friend, the first Human I met. You'll never know how lucky you are"
"You stand with a witch queen and princess, you've met the wolf kind and queen and even the other royal family, you've been with wizards and lived with them. You're indeed a lucky human" Olivia smiled and planted a kiss on his lips.
"But I'm defenseless, I'm not compared to anyone here, I'm obviously the weakest!" He exclaimed unhappily, and they looked at themselves, having no clues of what to do.
"Seth?" Olivia called with a sad voice "If we had a way to make you one of us, we would do it willing without hesitation"
Seth bit his lips and looked up at her and then his lips formed a smiled and he kissed her passionately and everyone laughed at the way Olivia cling unto him.
"I remember when we fought at the forest" Jupiter grinned, " Seth was actually physically strong, but he held himself back".
"I don't beat ladies, I told ya" he grinned.
"You need to see my Seth breaking bones in school"Olivia smiled excitedly and kissed him again
"I heard about that, I wished I had seen it myself, Mercury rolled her eyes and yawned loudly,
"Am I sensing tiredness?" Adam asked Mercury as she yawned for the second time,
"You can call it that"she replied "I'm so weak right now".
"And I'm tired and sleepy", Jupiter complained as she leans towards Laura.
"It's dark, you would certainly be tired", Olivia answered and turned back to Seth who she had been hugging.
"Can you not be too clingy?" Jupiter demanded, rolling her eyes at Seth and Olivia
"You've got Adam with you right?"Seth eyes her and Olivia wink as Jupiter folded her arms, glaring at them angry.
"Seth has this inbuilt talent of annoying people" Mercury said to Jupiter, "don't let it get to you".
"I'll certainly try to avoid his taunts and annoying comments", Jupiter answered and turned to Laura "why are you both always quiet when we talk?"
"I'm actually observing", Laura answered with a smile, opening her palm,
"Observing what exactly?"Jupiter questioned curiously as she raised her brows,
"You and others but mostly my daughter, I'm trying to study you" she replied.
"Mom? You're so sweet" Jupiter laughed slightly and paused, "can I ask a question?"
"Sure" Laura smiled "you would always have questions for me,"
"My father, what is his name?" Jupiter asked curiously, and Laura stared back to her quietly, she shut her eyes, breath in slowly and exhale as she opened her eyes.
"Your father, his name is Logan Gretel Roderigomez. They called him vampire Lord Logan", she answered with a slight frown and Jupiter nodded as she walked closer and hug Laura.
"Do I remind you of him Every time?" She asked, and Laura bit her lips,
"I can't run away from it, can i?" Laura laughed in tears and quickly dried the tear drop with her palms "I love you and that's all that matters".
"You do?" Jupiter asked as her body trembled slightly "I am so happy that I found you and you love me this much. I love you too".
"Okay let's save the tears for something else, you should go home, it's getting darker", Laura smiled at her and she nodded, then hugged her mother again before turning back to others.
"I'm going to miss you", Adam kissed her lips and she smiled,
"Not when we are going to meet tomorrow in school", Mercury raised her brows at Adam and Jupiter.
"That's doesn't mean I won't miss her for the night", Adam defended himself and Jupiter laughed at them as they battled with words. Mercury turned away from them and her eyes met Seth and Olivia both clinging to each other and not ready to leave.
"For goodness sake, we are almost a hundred miles away from home and I deserve good rest. Can somebody hear that?" Mercury shouted, and everyone laughed loudly as they finally gave her attention.
"What If I transport us there with a portal?" Jupiter asked,
"I pray you don't imagine Adams bedroom and transport us there", Mercury answered causing everyone to laugh again.
"Mercury don't be a pain in the ass", Olivia said kissing Seth one last time as Jupiter began creating a portal, soon they could view the apartment as the three girls walked through and got to the other side.
"Do well to drive the car to school tomorrow, we would get it there", Mercury shouted to the boys at the other side and blew a kiss, they nodded in response, waving at each other and Jupiter blew Laura a kiss before closing the portal.
"What if I approach him?" Mercury asked as Jupiter and Olivia turned to her.
"Approach who?" Olivia asked as she slumped on the bed,
"The math teacher, Mr. Kenny" she answered, and Jupiter eyes popped out,
"That's not a bad idea" Olivia said immediately, "but we're going to play smart".
Jupiter and Mercury frowned at her curiously, waiting to hear her smart idea and opinion.
"Ehm... What guys?" She asked as she noticed them staring at her intensely,
"Say something, what's the smart opinion?" Jupiter shouted,
"I actually have no idea. I'll come up with something tomorrow", she grinned and rolled over
"Great nonsense", Mercury groaned, and Jupiter giggled.
The girls giggled as they stepped out of the portal into the girls toilet, they pushed the door open and came face to face with Chloe and her two companions, they looked at the three girls suspiciously and they noticed Chloe signal one of the girls with a wink and the girl took out a phone and immediately captured the three girls who were squeezed up inside the small toilet and struggling to step out.
"I never imagined you girls as lesbians" Chloe grinned, "the school would love to see this, it's been long we had a reasonable gist"
Jupiter groaned inwardly as she knew Chloe would post that image or even paste the picture in all the classes. She quickly looked at the phone which the girls were holding far from her reach. She concentrated on the phone as Mercury and Olivia struggled to move out and grab the phone from Chloe and her friends.
"Break!" She shouted and immediately the phone vibrated and scattered into pieces, Chloe and her gang screamed in fear as they one who held the phone cried at her burnt hands. Mercury and Olivia sighed in relief as they winked at each other, then gently they moved out of the tight toilet and faced the other girls in front of them.
"That's what you earn when you mess with a red-haired princess" Jupiter grinned at them as Olivia and Mercury laughed, brushing past them.
"I'm lucky to have you, you're gonna do incredible things" Mercury smiled excitedly.
"I didn't even recall you have powers, you should have wipe their ass" Olivia laughed " you need to see the expression on Chloe's face, like she had seen a ghost"
The girls laughed as they found their way to the classroom and immediately Jupiter and Mercury got into the class, they were surprised by the sudden hug from Adam, he hugged them tightly and they giggled when he placed kisses on their cheeks.
"I can't believe I missed you" Mercury laughed as she walked out of his arms, leaving the two love birds to themselves.
"You did?" Adam and Jupiter asked simultaneously in surprise
"Surprised? Ya, you should be. I really need to see Seth, because I miss him too" she asked with a big smile.
"I missed you too"Adam answered with a grin "both of you with Olivia"
"Okay, I'll be back. I need to see Seth, so please chew yourselves. Love birds", Mercury teased and walked out of the class, she hummed a song as she walked through the hall way and stopped in front of the door as she heard the familiar voice, she blinked simultaneously and when she looked up at him the man, she realized he was staring back at her, she swallowed hard.
"Are you looking for someone?" He asked looking at her direction, but she raised her brows and looked behind her and found no one, she realized he was speaking to her, she turned back to him and the whole class laughed loudly. The man walked closer to her, she could feel her body trembling and her wolf uncomfortable, but she was not a weak girl. She held herself and her chin high and watch him approach her.
"Are you looking for someone, Mercury?" He asked, and her expression changed, she was surprised
"You called my name. How do you know my name?" She asked immediately, and he smiled, and she could see the perfect line that ran through his jaw and the perfect set of teeth she had even seen.
"I'm a teacher, so I could easily ask you mates"he answered "so? Why are you here?"
"To meet a friend" she answered pointing at Seth and Olivia "I thought they would be lecture free now, I can go and return later".
"I'm not teaching. I just had a little mathematics problem which I needed someone to solve and I expected my student to handle it" Mr Kenny said to her " and anyone who can solve it would have a free extra class lesson with me"
And immediately all the students raised their hands, all eager to have the extra class with the mathematics teacher. He stretches out the board marker towards Mercury as she only stared at him and looked at the board from the door, staring at the math problems then she turned back on him.
"You can't solve it?" Mr Kenny asked still holding the marker to her, she bit the marker as her Heart ponder hard, she was scared, she wasn't so sure of the answer, but she was familiar with the problem, she felt lucky that she had professional teachers at the forest. She moved to the board, her fingers tremble and the marker slipped out of her grip, she quickly bent and picked up the marker, she turned backwards, and she could see Olivia and Seth smiling and giving her a thumbs up and Mr Kenny was quietly staring and his eyes sent shiver down her body.
She concentrated on the board, placing the marker below the problem and started giving a solution to it, she went through the steps and rules, the equations and BODMAS,them finally she placed the equal sign below all the things she had written and looked behind her to Mr Kenny and he smiled at her, she turned back to the board to avoid his gaze. She wrote down the last number she felt was the correct answer and stood still in that position not turning to the class, they whole class were quiet, and she became scared that she has just done the wrong thing.
"Mercury?" She heard him call and she turned around to the class and she noticed they were quiet and all looking at Mr Kenny who held no emotions.
"You're not saying anything" she said impatiently and then he smiled widely.
"I'm sorry, that's because you did this so well and it's unbelievable" he answered as he peeped at the board again.
"If I'm right, why do you find it unbelievable?"she questioned in confusion.
"Because you solved it with the most advanced method", he answered still smiling and moved closer to the students, "can Mercury get a clap?"
All the students began clapping as Olivia and Seth grinned at her, she smiled slowly back at them.
"So, you would be having an extra class with me after school everyday. Meet me at the staff room so we can talk about the time and location" he said to Mercury and she nodded, he smiled at her and he walked out if the class.
Mercury walked to Seth and Olivia.
"I knew you'll solve it" Seth grinned happily as he hugged her.
"It's a simple piece of shit" she rolled her eyes at them.
"Tell me you're not happy about the extra lesson with Mr Kenny?" Olivia asked with a mocking face,
"Well, I'm not so excited as you think" she answered and that got the other two laughing.
"That's a straight forward lie" Olivia said as she patted her.
"Fine!" Things are actually going the way I wanted, and I'll tell him that we can learn at his house" Mercury replied
