Chapter 41

"it's none of your business Jupiter and I won't let you talk to me in that manner" he shouted
"then I'll talk to her" Jupiter said turning to face the girl "what exactly do you want with my brother?"
"can you stop acting childish Jupiter. Where is your sense of understanding and manners?" mars shouted as he rose up and Jupiter shivered backwards "I need you to leave this room now"
"you push me away because of her?" Jupiter asked in disbelief. What's mars her best brother anymore, her most favorite person
"yes!" he shouted and Jupiter nodded without hesitation and turned to the door
"okay" she whispered as she opened the door, still trying to register everything that happened
"Jupiter?" mars called slowly and she turned to look at him from out the door "can you come inside please?"
She stared at mars, why was he so confused? He just ordered her out of the room some minutes ago and now he called her back. She was eager to hear what he wanted to say, she sighed and moved back into the room and shut the door behind her. But they didn't say anything, the three people glared at each other.
"I am inside" she reminded her brother, rolling her eyes.
"come and sit beside me" he said to her but she shook her head negatively and he frowned slightly
"I want to sit on your legs" she bit her lips and gave him a puppy face
"Jupiter you are a grown adult, you aren't that little Jupiter anymore" mars frowned as he spoke in confusion
"but that's where I want to sit, it's been long I sat there" she answered as she glared at him
"fine, come and sit" mars said and she moved faster and sat on his legs, Dinah stared at the both of them quietly.
"so?" Jupiter asked, wanting to the know the reason her brother called her back
"you are going to be the first person to know this" he smiled at her and she stared at him curiously "Dinah is my mate"
Jupiter's eyes widen in shock and surprise, she rose up from his legs and glared at the both of them.
"she can't be the next queen of the wolf kingdom" Jupiter shook her head negatively
"why?" mars asked as he tried to control himself
"not with the way she acts, she's not fit to be a queen. How would she rule them?" Jupiter questioned
"I didn't make her my mate, don't forget that" mars reminded his younger sister
"but..." Jupiter frowned shaking her head and staring at the girl beside her brother "I don't like her"
"you'll get to love her when you know her more" mars said and rose up as he walked closer to his sister
"I am not so worried about the fact that I don't like her. I want someone who can rule the wolf kingdom perfectly, this would be the concern of everyone, the wolf kingdom doesn't need just anyone" Jupiter said as tears fell off her eyes "I am happy for you, I am happy you found a mate. But would it favor the wolf clan? Would it favor our kingdom? Can she sacrifice for the life of others? Can she rule in justice? There are a lot of questions to ask before concluding"
Mars dried the tears that fell of Jupiter's face, he understood her. Jupiter's love for the wolf kingdom was unexplainable, she would always want the best for the kingdom and even sacrifice for it
"I understand you Jupiter but let's give her a try?" mars said to Jupiter "please?"
Jupiter moved away from her brother and walked towards Dinah who rose up to her, Jupiter stared at her.
"you are right about me" Dinah said before Jupiter could say a word "I am not perfect, I am just being me, annoying and rude"
"if you don't mind, I could teach you to be a queen" Jupiter smirked
"I am sorry about earlier, I am sorry about everything I did today and I would be happy if you understand me" Dinah said and mars stood beside her
"Jupiter doesn't take people to mind for long, she can be emotional most times" mars smiled at his sister "I know she accepted you already, just trying to get on your nerves"
Jupiter laughed loudly, she knew her brother would always be able to read her and know her plans.
"welcome to the family" Jupiter grinned at her and immediately moved forward to hug Dinah tightly
"thank you Jupiter" Dinah smiled at happy, she felt so happy and mars pulled her out of Jupiter's grip and kissed her passionately.
"I need to go tell the others" she grinned and ran out of the room happily and the two new couple giggled and followed her out
"I would have to talk to my mother but I won't be able to leave the kingdom" Dinah said to him sadly.
"you don't need to worry. I would call you when I need you in the kingdom" mars answered and she frowned
"that's totally not normal" she complained
"can you stop complaining? Let's go tell the others first" mars smiled and kissed her cheeks as she nodded slowly.
They walked to the dining and Jupiter had already gathered the others around and they waited in curiousity.
"What's the big surprise?" Venus asked as she was more eager to know why her body was so excited and strong.
"She's my mate" Mars smiled happily and their eyes widen in shock.
"That can't be possible, I am so excited" queen Alexa jubilated and hugged her daughter as the others hurried to meet the new couple and they discussed how everything went.
The door bell rang loudly, waking every individual in their different rooms. It was time for the visitors to go home or move to the fairy kingdom. In their respective rooms, they began to prepare and arrange theirselves. No sooner, they strolled out of the dinning for breakfast. The mermaid queen already took her position, waiting patiently for the visitors to assume their position. They arrived sooner and exchanged pleasantries with happiness boldly written on their faces.
They noticed everyone was on the table except the new couple's. Mars and Dinah, but they all understood their reasons for not been here. They were going to cling into themselves because sooner they would be going separate ways and they had barely had enough time for themselves.
The others began to eat as they couldn't wait for Mars or Dinah. Jupiter cleared her throat and smiled gracefully, they all moved their attention to her.
"Good morning everyone, I need to inform y'all that I'll be leaving earlier and to a different destination" Jupiter spoke audibly and when they continued staring at her, she decided to explain further. "I have to see the vampire king, it was my deal with him and it's the only way I can know his plans, he won't like to know that I came here".
"She's right" Queen Laura added with a nod. "You are permitted to go".
"What about Selina?" Adam asked. "why don't you go with her?"
"Well, we would return together if that's the only choice" jupiter answered "I know what to tell Lord Logan"
"That's fine. You would meet us at the wolf kingdom when you need us." Queen Laura smiled at Jupiter and she nodded and she returned the smile.
Soon everyone was done and with their meal, chattering and talking among themselves. Finally, it was time to leave, the visitors took their necessary things which they had came with and the gift they had received from the mermaid Queen. Venus was sent to go inform the couple's that it was time to leave.
"I should go now." Jupiter said as she had began to feel so uncomfortable but couldn't point out the reason.
"Why not wait and see your brother?" King Desmond asked as they all stared at her curiously but she shook her head negatively, her face looked pained like she was fighting an internal turmoil.
"You should return to the kingdom sooner, I sense something wrong." jupiter answered and began to create a black fog and Selina got in with her and they vanished. The others glanced at each other in misunderstanding and just then Mars and Dinah stepped in, smiling from ear to ear. They didn't hesitate to greet everyone present but they realized two people were absent, Dinah frowned slightly.
"Where is my baby sister?" Mars asked and they knew he was referring about Jupiter.
"And Selina." Dinah added, looking around in search of them.
"They left." Mercury answered bluntly and Dinah swallowed uncomfortably,her expression held guilt.
"Did she leave because of me?" She questioned calmly, almost in a whisper as she searched for the perfect word to justify herself.
"She left because she has some things to attend to." Adam replied her with a smile.
"Was it so important that she couldn't wait for our arrival?" Mars questioned.
"You should know her better, she wouldn't leave if it wasn't necessary." Venus rolled her eyes at her naive brother.
"So she isn't mad at me, right?" Dinah asked as she bit her lips and blinked slowly.
"Don't be too worried." Queen Alexa smiled excitedly at her daughter. "Jupiter isn't upset or pissed, she has no reason to be mad anymore. Or did she look pissed?"
Queen Alexa turned to the others for help and they shook their heads negatively with smiles and grin.
"We should start heading to the fairy kingdom." Queen Laura said as she smiled brightly.
"I'm going with y'all." Dinah said aloud as she glanced at her mother with a pleading face but her mom stared back at her speechlessly.
"Dinah?" Mars called in confusion. He couldn't recall discussing this with her, they had both agreed that he would come visiting at most times. "You have responsibilities which you must be attending to."
"Mom can handle all that. It's not like I'm doing much." Dinah answered as she frowned slightly.
"But she needs your help, you told me that yourself." Mars said to her, staring into her eyes which was becoming wet.
