Chapter 7

"My hair is a natural one like he said earlier, so if you can't cope with that, then I'm sorry" Jupiter spoke loudly, not allowing them to intimidate her, the whole class fell silent as she stared directly at chloe, she knew that Chloe would be her rival and obviously Chloe was the prettiest girl in class and it seems Jupiter had come to take over that position. The whole class was still silent as they were surprised at the boldness of the new students. And obviously she has drawn enemies to herself and at the same time attractors.
"Where's my seat please?" She asked Adam who was also speechless at her courageousness.
"We seat together, so I can help you with things you don't understand" he explained as he led her to the empty desk in front. Immediately a teacher got into the class, they all got up and greeted her loudly. The woman turned to Jupiter and stared at her without expression.
"Stand", she ordered, and Jupiter obeyed. "you'll sit with Brad, over there"she pointed at the desk behind Chloe, the boy on the desk was grinning, Adam stood up immediately, "she's supposed to sit with the class representative "He countered.
"Then she sits with Chloe then," she smirked.
"No!" This time Jupiter answered, "Are you ready to teach or cause more mess?"
The whole class roared in amazement and some where laughing, nobody had dare spoken to this woman in disrespect. She was the head teacher.
"How dare you?" The woman asked batting with anger.
"Dare me? I won't like to be rude ma, but you aren't polite. If I guess right, the policy of the school is that all new student sits with the class representative and that's exactly what we did", Jupiter said not batting an eye.
"We can talk about this in the Principal's office, Miss Sylvia" Adam said adapting to Jupiter's courageousness. The teacher turned to Adam in anger, then walked out of the class filled with rage.
Jupiter turned to see Adam pale face, when his eyes met hers, they bursted into laughter.
"How do you do that?" He asked as they sat down,
"Do what?" She asked in laughter,
"Speak your mind out without fear" he said,
"Well, that's just me being blunt. Natural me" she smiled.
"And I didn't realize when I joined you to talk back at her. It was awesome seeing that expression on her face", he laughed and immediately someone slammed their desk and they looked up to meet Chloe.
"Where ever you came from, I want to know. Weren't you taught respect and manners? Have you ever been to school, because if you had, you wouldn't speak to your teacher in such manner" she said angrily.
Jupiter turned to Adam and then back to Chloe and then stood up to face her and Adam stood up to prevent them from fighting, but he was also curious to see what this new girl could do. But he wasn't watching alone, the whole class were quiet.
"I guess your name is Chloe, and if you would like to know. Where I come from is totally a different place, if I could bear their taunt, then I'll overcome yours. Talking to me is just like pouring water on a chicken, it bounces off Chloe. Stop wasting your useless and not precious time. And the other question, what was it?" Jupiter raised her brows, acting to be in a deep thought, then she looked back at Chloe. " I recall and you're right. I never went to school, I studied and had my classes at home, because my parent didn't want me meeting someone like you" Jupiter laughed as Chloe stood speechless and they whole class were laughing.
"It's your first day here and don't make it your worst" Chloe pointed out
"And what would make it my worst day. Oh, I'm meant to say, who would make it my worst day? Please don't give me a reason to laugh, I don't have a good sense of humor, I'm learning to find things and people funny" Jupiter laughed and turned to Adam who was watching curiously. "Please ask this piece of chunk to leave my desk, I can also be very violent".
"You have to go back to your seat" Adam said to her as Jupiter sat down ignoring the other people and acting busy.
"You defend her now?" Chloe shouted at Adam "because she's new? I'm your girlfriend here".
"No, she's real and sincere. And If I check well, you started this whole problem. Give me one reason why you left your desk over here?" He asked rendering her speechless as she fumes in rage.
"Jupiter!!!" The students hailed and screamed her name, Chloe turned and walked back to her desk angrily and in shame and Adam sat down and gave Jupiter a smirk, she laughed. Then they found themselves exchanging hand shakes and laughing.
"Jupiter, Adam!" "Jupiter, Adam!" They students screamed at the new outcome in their class, they now had a lot to gist about. Some other students envied her, they had been intimidated by Chloe but now someone stood up to her.
Chloe and her squad stood at the end of the class, as they were comforting the emotional Chloe. Chloe was the richest kid in school and she downgraded and discriminated a lot of students and rolled with the other rich kid.
She has been dating Adam since she started attending the school, she's been controlling and commanding, but just at the last minute someone had come to destroy all her plot and strategy.
Olivia sat beside the boy which she had been paired with, he had been throwing glances at her and then move his eyes away when she looked back at him. She laughed inwardly as she fiddles her phone.
"Hey!"someone called, and she looked up to meet a tall huge boy who was smiling and grinning from ear to ear, she rolled her eyes as she wondered what he was up to.
"You can call me Andrea, I see you're new around here"
She nodded and looked beside her, her desk partner was staring at them curiously and she turned back to the huge boy.
"I'm Olivia" she replied bluntly.
"Unluckily for me, you've been paired with the class representative, but you can come visit me at my desk" she smiled pointing to his desk at the back of the class.
"Don't worry. I'm fine here" she smiled back at him trying to send him away.
"The class representative can be very boring" he laughed and tapped the boy on his shoulder hardly and he winched in pain, "he's actually a weakling too, can't defend a pretty girl like you".
"And like I said Andrea, I'm very fine on my desk, I can defend myself too" she replied already getting pissed
"Come on, you can't just reject me that way" he held up her chin and she pushed his hands away and he brought them back to her face smiling widely, she brushed it away and when he brought them again she realized he was a bully and was trying to get on her nerves.
She turned to her desk partner, ignoring Andrea totally, trying to observe if he'll walk away or wait to get the beatings of his life.
"What's your name? Jupiter's friend", she asked with a smile and great composure, he was marveled at the way she ignored the bully.
"I'm Seth", he replied, "your wolf friend told you about me?"
"You call her wolf when she's not," Olivia laughed slightly at his ignorance, "her name is Jupiter"
"And yours?" He asked curiously.
"Olivia, Olivia Jude" she answered and just then she was hit on her shoulder, not only her but Seth, she looked up to meet the devilish eye of Andrea who now held Seth tightly on the collar.
"Let him go and I'll let you walk away" she stood up as Seth spin out of Andrea's grip, but just then a bunch of guys appears, and they were Andrea's squad of friends, they circled the two-desk mate. They class suddenly became noisy, the students were murmuring and screaming as they were eager to see the next move.
"What can you do? you little weak girl", Andrea mocked.
"Nothing much, but something that can send you to the school clinic", she laughed.
"Andrea please return to you seat and let's forget about any sort of problem" Seth said, he knew he could stand up to Andrea but not when his team of five boys were around him and then Olivia, He was more worried about her but then he recalled the incident in the forest between Jupiter and her older wolf sister. Since Olivia is Jupiter's friend, maybe she would be strong as Jupiter who fought him at the forest.
"Are you begging this chipmunk?" Olivia rolled her eyes and frowned, eager for a fight "it you need some beatings and broken bones, please come to me".
She smirked at Seth and immediately the boys went after her, she cracked her neck and then dodged the first blow coming from a boy, she held his hands and broke the elbow, he screamed in pain and fell to the floor. But the other boys didn't learn from the first one, they moved again. Andrea turned to face Seth, he folded his fist and attacked, Seth sent his elbow into Andrea's face and immediately blood gushed out of the broken nose, Andrea staggered backward and groaned then came forward again, Seth kicked him on the stomach and he fell to the floor, the students hailed him. Then he went after the remaining two boys that Jupiter was dealing with, the other boys laid in the floor with broken bones and nose. Seth and Olivia held the arms of the boys, stared at each other and exchanged a smile then simultaneously twisted the arms around and the sound of broken bones was heard in the class and the other students shouted as the bullies of the class laid on the floor.
The two people walked back to their desk, ignoring the stares of their class mate, the boys were left on the floor. The door of the class was pushed open as the head teacher stepped in.
"What's happening here?" she shouted in panic and then pointed at some boys, "take them to the school clinic".
Olivia took out her phone and Seth focused on his text book. Miss Sylvia walked up to their desk and they stopped what they were doing.
"What happened here? Class representative" she asked
"It was a slight misunderstanding, as usual Andrea tried to entice the new student, but she ignored him, and he tried to bully her which resulted to what you saw" Seth explained, and she moved away from him and walked to Olivia who held her chin high.
"And you're the new student?" she asked.
"Yes ma'am" Olivia replied.
"You resumed classes today and you're already hungry for a suspension and expulsion" Miss Sylvia asked raising her brows.
"I can't go for a suspension not even an expulsion. Because I wasn't at fault, tell that to the boys I sent to the clinic" Olivia answered, and the woman nodded in disbelief.
"Seems the new students have no idea of who I am and what I can do" she arranged her collar neatly
"the new student at the other class had no respect like you"
And just then Olivia busted into laughter, she realized something had happened in Jupiter's class and unluckily this woman had met the wrong side of Jupiter.
"You mean Jupiter Desmond?" Olivia mocked, "she's my best friend and we are the same, just avoid her, if not you'll regret ever going into her class", The woman stood there looking dumb folded and embarrassed as Olivia sat back on her desk and picked up her phone, Seth joined her and soon the whole class ignored the presence of the head teacher, she walked out of the classroom in shame and anger. She had never been humiliated this way before but just today she had been humiliated by the new students twice in just one day and in front of all the student. She shook her head, trying to compose herself as she began plotting evil in her mind, she wouldn't let the girls go away with what they had done. She headed to the principal's office with great agenda.
"it was nice working with you" Olivia grinned at Seth as miss Sylvia left the class, the whole class had become noisy again and the students were giving themselves details of what happened.
"I didn't know you could handle all those guys" he smiles "I underestimated you, I shouldn't underestimate anyone that walks with Jupiter" Olivia laughed slightly
"you weren't bad yourself, I saw how you knocked Andrea out with one blow"
"Don't flatter me, Olivia" he laughed.
"so, you said Jupiter isn't a werewolf, convince me"
"She should give you answers herself; I don't know what happened that day at the forest"
"I saw a werewolf, I saw her in the wolf form and witnessed the transformation and that was Jupiter's sister"
"That was Princess Venus" Olivia answered calmly.
"Yes!" he exclaimed with a victory smile "I was trying to figure out that name, so if Venus is a werewolf, then why isn't Jupiter?"
