Chapter 27

Mercury couldn't hide her embarrassment her cheeks flush red as she realized Jupiter and Olivia had been watching and the boys had opened the door and caught her in the act,
"are you shy?" Kenny whispered to her ears,
"more embarrassed than shy" she answered not lifting her face from his shoulder, but he laughed slightly at her,
"they are your family and I see no reason to be shy," he ran his hand through her hair and she nodded slowly before looking up at the other people in the room.
"hi" she waved at them, but they only stared at her silently, feeling guilty,
"you guys are not going to remain quiet, are you?" Kenny asked with a frown,
"I'm only speechless, wasn't expecting to meet a couple in the act" Seth answered, blinking simultaneously,
"it's not like you caught us having sex, that's when you can boldly call it an act" Kenny said to him,
"how long have you both been standing there" mercury said as she began to copy Kenny's boldness,
"long enough" Olivia answered with a grin and Jupiter nodded in unison,
"how long?" she asked again,
"well, we followed you behind" Jupiter answered raising her brows "we were curious,"
"this is one of the reasons I wanted having the lesson at Kenny's place. To avoid your curiosity, can't you all let me be? Don't I deserve privacy?" she shouted, and Kenny pulled her and held her waist,
"you really wanted learning at my place?" Kenny asked mercury, trying to take her mind off the issue as he signals the others to leave. She heard the door closing, she turned around and there was no one,
"where did they go?" she asked in confusion,
"they are giving you the space you deserve" he answered with a weak smile "you were rude.
"who?" she asked, and he smiled at the way she acted like she knew nothing about what he was talking about,
"Jupiter, of course" he answered "around here, we shouldn't expect privacy. Your family would always be around; you could get privacy at my home,"
"but......." She frowned and found herself not having any word to defend herself,
"I don't want you to have problems with your sister because of me" he kissed her forehead and she nodded then they heard some screaming sound "let's go see what they are doing."
They both headed towards the direction of the noise, it led them to the kitchen and on opening the kitchen door, they were welcomed by a blast, their face was filled with dusted flour and immediately everywhere went silent. The four culprits looked at each other with fear in their eyes, wondering what the next reaction from Mr. and Mrs. Kenny would be who had dust of flour on their faces.
Kenny and mercury looked up at the four people in the kitchen, they were all covered in flour and they had pans of different sizes with flour in it. Their body and the whole kitchen werecovered with dusty floor. The gas was lit and fire emanating from it with no pot on it.
"what the hell is happening?" mercury shouted with a widen eye,
"is this era of food wastage, maybe I could be of help" Kenny grinned and immediately raced to Seth's side with an immeasurable speed, he grabbed the two pans from him and speed back to mercury under a second, they were all surprised at the speed, he handed a pan to mercury and soon the four teenagers were receiving a large quantity of flour on their faces. Jupiter managed to attack back with the same level of speed Kenny used. Then Kenny and mercury focused on her, leaving the other people who had fallen to the ground. But still Jupiter could match both with her speed, giving Olivia, Adam and Seth time to join and soon they were up, and it was four against two. The whole place was a mess, Kenny and mercury realized that they were getting weaker, they quickly ran out of the kitchen from the open door, laughing loudly as the four others collapsed to the ground in laughter.
Finally, they had finished preparing breakfast. They all sat down in twos, everyone with their partner and they felt so complete, while they sat down to eat there was a knock on the door, Olivia got up immediately and moved for the door.
She opened the door to meet a man on black, he stood there all alone and not saying a word and there was no sign that a car had dropped him off. She greeted and waved at him, but he ignored her.
"hey guys!" she called loudly to them "come check this out,"
But as they all rose up, there heard her scream loudly and followed by her wolf howling. They ran to the door to see what was happening and saw the man waved a hand and Olivia's wolf collided with the wall and she became motionless.
"my father" Jupiter whispered to all of them, so they'd had anidea of who he was, and their eyes widen,
"you need to leave now; he needs you" Kenny said to Jupiter "everyone leaves! I will hold him,
"I'm not possibly leaving you" Jupiter frowned as they watch the man walk closer,
"me too" mercury added,
"Jupiter I'm not going to let him get you, you don't know what he is capable of and mercury, I won't risk your life" he shouted sadly in a pleading tone "now go to your parents,"
Jupiter nodded and dragged mercury with her into the apartment where the boys stood already, she opened the portal with a shaky hand as she trembled in fear, when she was done, she hurried all of them into the portal as she looked back at Kenny and the man battling violently. She was so worried when Kenny was finally knocked down, his body lay beside Olivia's already transformed naked body
"close the portal Jupiter, we have to go" Seth said to her as the man began heading towards the portal, she glared at him in anger and pain as he smiled wickedly at her. It angered her more and she tried to move out, but mercury immediately held her back and suddenly the portal was closed,
When she turned around, she met her mother and Mr. Johnson, she realized it was her mother who closed the portal, Jupiter was already in tears.
"he hurt them, mom" she cried as Laura pulled her into her arms "just because of me,"
"are you supposed to cry or get ready to fight him?" Laura asked her,
"he wants to see more of your tears, he wants to hear your voice, crying for his mercy" Jordan added "he's back and he won't stop,"
"we need an army" Laura said and they all looked up at her in confusion,
"an army? For what?" Seth questioned,
"he's just one" Adam added, and Laura smiled at their confusion,
"he has an army of vampires that attacks when it gets dark" Laura explained "he's not alone,"
"I need to call my parents" mercury said and they all nodded,
"I think we should go there instead, but I can't leave Olivia and Kenny" Jupiter said sniffing,
"that's right, it's safer at the wolf kingdom" Laura said,
"but what about Olivia and Kenny?" mercury asked with a worried expression,
"be calm, I'll get them. But I'll need some help" Jordan said and glanced at Laura,
"pack up your necessary things, we leave by noon" Laura commanded, and the boys nodded,
"so how do we rescue them?" Jupiter asked curiously,
"we would search for them through our minds and teleport. But you haven't been taught teleporting, I and your mother would go for them" Jordan answered, and Jupiter nodded, biting her lips and drying her tears,
"we need a quiet place, so we can search for her location with our mind" Laura said to them "pack up your things while we are away,"
The couple walked into the room leaving the teenagers who hadn't moved away from their position.
"I pray they find them" Jupiter leaned on the wall as her voice was mixed with both anger and pain
"they will be found" Adam came closer and hugged her tightly "now is not the time to cry, get ready. Only you can defeat him,"
"can I?" she frowned slightly her voice held doubt,
"of course, who else?" Adam asked, "you're his blood, you have a responsibility, it's time to take it up and come out victorious,"
"we need to pack up guys" mercury said slightly, and Seth nodded, and they walked into the boy's room,
Seth and Adam gathered their dresses into a box, including that of Jordan and Laura, everyone took out all their valuables,
"I feel there's no need to taking all these clothes. The house shouldn't be empty" Jupiter said, and they looked up at her "I want him to feel we took a walk out, he would certainly be here, sooner or later. If he realizes we are gone with our belongings, he would trace us but when he sees a full house he would wait and expect our return and that would buy us more time to plan,"
They nodded at her with understanding and immediately began putting all the clothes back to their previous place.
"you could easily get new wears at the kingdom" mercury assured the boys with a weak smile,
"I thought I'll be in these clothes forever" Seth laughed then he turned around and paused "hey, they are back,"
The others turned to see Laura and Jordan alone, the two people were breathing heavily and sweating profusely.
"where are they?" Jupiter asked in panic and Laura pointed at her side which the wall had restricted their views. The teenagers ran out of the door and then they met Olivia and Kenny's lifeless body on the floor, Jupiter and mercury quickly knelt beside them.
"why are they still unconscious?" mercury questioned almost in tears as she leaned towards Kenny's heart, trying to read his breath and Jupiter did the same to Olivia, they both sighed in relief when they realized they were breathing.
"I think he's working with a powerful witch" Jordan said to them,
"what kind of witch or wizard would work with an evil man?" Seth asked but they didn't reply,
"how does that have to do with the fact that they are still unconscious?" Adam frowned,
"he's using the forbidden spell; someone gave him access to it. He can make them unconscious forever with the forbidden magic, he can even do more evil things with it" Laura answered,
"how do we revive them?" Jupiter asked in pains,
"it's going to be a hard process, but we don't have enough time now" Jordan said,
"and why can't we revive them now?" Jupiter shouted in anger and everyone became quiet, staring back at her as tears spilled down her face and she whispered, "I'm sorry,"
"when he realized that they are gone, he would trace us again. We have to leave now" Jordan explained, and she nodded,
"you boys didn't pack up?" Laura asked with a frown and mercury quickly explained what they had planned, and the two adults nodded in understanding, smiling at the children smartness.
"how do we leave?" Seth asked them,
"I and Jupiter would open a portal that leads us there. You would carry Olivia and Jordan would take care of Kenny" Laura answered and they all looked at each other quietly,
"what are we waiting for?" mercury frowned and then Jupiter and Laura balanced, and Jupiter began to open the portal since only the royal blood could penetrate the boundary, the portal began to grow, and Laura joined her, helping to increase as the signal all of them to go through. Mercury stepped in first followed by Seth who was carrying Olivia, then Adam followed suit with Jordan who held Kenny on his shoulder, it was now Jupiter and her mother left,"
"go in" Laura said to her but instead Jupiter shook her head negatively,
"I opened this portal, I should close it mom. So, go in" Jupiter said to the woman and she smiled with a nod and got into the portal. Jupiter sighed as she thought about the reaction of her people if there realized she was back with a human, witch, wizard and a vampire, they couldn't accept her there, she wondered if they would accept them, she inhaled sharply and stepped into the portal.
She was welcomed by the sound of howling and growling wolves. She found out that they were surrounded and trapped by wolves, she had created a portal right into the hall and unluckily there was a meeting going on.
"stand down!" she heard mercury shouted at the wolves, she knew they could smell Seth and as human and the others weren't wolves. Laura, Jordan and Adam whispered a spell, ready to attack.
Jupiter walked in front and stood in between the wolves and her friends, she could sense the wolves' anger.
"I command you to stand down!" Jupiter shouted authoritatively and they all shivered backward and remained silent. Soon she could hear bone cracking sounds as the wolves transformed back to humans.
Seth frowned at the fact that they had clothes on them after the transformation, and he glanced at mercury and Jupiter.
"when you are in the royal castle, you could easily get a cloth after transformation, they magic is in here too" mercury whispered to him.
Then they all noticed the royals stepped down from the stairs and moved towards them, the wolves quickly created space for the royals to pass,
"Alpha!" one of the wolves called "your daughters havecommitted a great offense that has never been done for centuries, she brought in strangers and even a weak human,"
"you regard them as your princess" king Desmond shouted, and the wolf shivered and retreated,
"they aren't strangers, they are family" queen Irine smiled and moved immediately to hug the girls,
"you brought the boys, the sexy boys" Venus teased, and they laughed as Jupiter pulled out of the hug and pulled in front of the other wolves.
"let me introduce you to my new family" Jupiter began with an audible voice "this woman beside me is the witch queen Laura and she is my biological mother,"
All the werewolves gasped in surprise and shocked, they looked towards the alpha and Luna but instead of countering the statement, they nodded with a smile.
"she is lying, isn't she?" another wolf asked in disbelief,
"I didn't raise her to lie. Jupiter was found the same day mercury was born, I came across her in the forest and took her even when I thought she was human but she's actually not a human" king Desmond said,
"then what is she?" the werewolf asked again.
"don't learn to forget. I guess she mentioned her mother is the witch queen?" queen irine said raising her brows "Jupiter is not only a witch princess; she is a hybrid,"
They all gasp again in surprise, but the royal family smiled at each other, proud of who Jupiter had become.
"she is also a vampire princess, which makes her a powerful hybrid" mercury answered "we just couldn't smell her because she had grown around wolves and you all had the mentality that she was a wolf. Even the royals just found out that she wasn't human."
The wolves became silent as no one could believe their ears or even say a word. They were confused and speechless at the new revelation, they couldn't believe the fact that they stood before a powerful being.
