Chapter 17

"Do you know why I got attracted to you?" He weird when she shook her head negatively "I love you because you're tough, you're a fighter, you are courageous, bold, outspoken, crazy, beautiful, caring and all perfect for me. You've got a perfect and beautiful smile, your eyes are attracting and compelling but mostly, I love your spirit, you're strong willed"
"Why saying all this?" She asked as more tears escaped her eyes
"Because it's true Olivia. don't you know yourself?" He asked.
"I do, I know myself but not in the way you described" she answered with a weak smile.
"Believe me Olivia, I won't lie to you" he replied with a smile and held her hands, kissing each of them softly and she giggled.
"So, we are?" She raised her brows at him and Seth laughed.
"We are the latest couple" he teased and they both laughed at themselves
"We are lovers now?" She asked, and he nodded, and she grinned "Jupiter would be so happy, she needs to hear this first".
"Not when I tell Adam first", he laughed, and her eyes widen,
"No, you can't do that Seth" she frowned
"Then it's a competition, first person to tell our friends" he continued laughing
"Fine!" The loser owes the winner lunch" she smiled
"You'll be lucky if I'm the winner, I don't eat much" Seth grinned
"That doesn't mean I'll let you win. I am a foodie, so I accept any food and I'll make sure you lose" she answered rolling her eyes.
"Guess what's the time?" He grinned and got up, she looked at her wrist watch.
"Break time", she gasped but Seth had spin outside in laughter as the bell rang and she followed him behind with the plan for revenge, she was a wolf and a fast runner, she moved inside the Jupiter's class before him but couldn't find Jupiter or Adam or even Mercury, he was breathing heavily as he recalled he raced with a wolf and she would have won if their friends were in class now.
She speeds out of the class again and he followed her, he noticed she was heading for the canteen, he changed direction and headed for the garden but when he got there he couldn't find them, he cursed inwardly as he ran to the canteen to find them.
She got to the canteen and she searched for them in the crowd of students, but their smell had faded away and she could still feel a bit of their presence. She followed the scent and it let her outside towards the garden.
The garden, how could she have forgotten, she was so angry with herself that Seth was going to win, she speeds towards the garden but before she reached she saw the three of them at the narrow part that led to the garden and Seth was running towards them in front and he was closer to them than she was.
"Jupiter" she shouted as she hurried towards her and Jupiter turn d backwards at the same time Adam noticed Seth running towards them.
Jupiter and Adam stood in confusion as they saw the two people who were quiet this morning running to them and even laughing, Mercury folded her arms, laughing and shaking her head.
"Why do I smell love in the air?" Mercury asked rhetorically
"We are dating" Olivia and Seth said simultaneously to Adam and Jupiter as they were feet's away from them
"Olivia and I are dating"
"I'm in a relationship with Seth"
They both said as they reached their destination. Seth was breathing heavily but Olivia hugged Jupiter with a teary eye.
"And I was right" Mercury laughed and turned away. Jupiter and Adam stood speechless and still confused about why they had to run from different directions and screaming their names
"I won right?" Olivia asked in excitement
"Won what?" Jupiter asked in a state of confusion
"And how are you both already dating?"Adam questioned raising his brows
"Well, since you must know" Olivia smiled and walked to Seth and held his hands "I realized I actually loved Seth too and I agreed to his proposal".
"Are you seriously not going to tell them the real story?" Seth teased, and Olivia laughed as she remembered what happened in the class, "you need to hear the complete story guys".
"Save that first" Mercury popped in, "I'm eager to know why two young adults were running when nothing chased them",
"We had a contest, that the first person to inform you guys about our relationship would earn lunch from the loser" Seth answered, and Mercury frowned slapping her face with her palm.
"Is that it?" She asked in disbelief "is this what love make you all do?"
Olivia hissed and rolled her eyes at Mercury and Jupiter laughed at the reaction as she couldn't understand why Olivia and Seth were so happy, but she was happy for them, they had settled their differences and already dating.
"You'll never know what love is till you find the right person, don't be too jealous of mine" Olivia answered Mercury
"I'm not jealous for goodness sake, I'm only confused about your reactions, I just hope you both won't irritate me with your love life, if not I'll kill and bury you both without a trace" Mercury grinned after speaking and Olivia glared at her with fake anger and then laughed.
"I'll be here when you finally get a boyfriend and I'll remind you" Olivia said and turned to Seth, then planted a kiss on his lips as he smiled at her and Mercury looked away, Jupiter and Adam giggled excitedly.
"Please tell me about how you both started", Adam grinned at the two people who walked hand in hand,
"I'm eager to know" Jupiter smiled happily,
"Calm down, it's actually funny and crazy" Olivia smiled.
"Ya, Olivia would do something crazy" Mercury popped in "tell me, you asked or proposed to him?"
Olivia groaned and turned to Mercury in angrily.
"Why so envious and jealous of my new-found love?"
"Bla, bla, bla. Save the topic for another day" Mercury rolled her eyes,
"Why not ignore her?"Seth said to Olivia "it's obvious something is eating her up"
Mercury laughed in a mocking tone and Jupiter joined her,
"Come on guys, I was just pulling your legs" she laughed
"You pulled them too hard" Seth answered as he was already laughing at Mercury's trick.
"It's the only way I could act like I wasn't excited. Sometimes I love to hide my feelings about things and that was the only way I could hide it" she laughed till a tear escaped her eyes and she wiped them off. She walked closer to Olivia and embraced her tightly.
"I thought you weren't happy for me"Olivia said giving her a puppy face.
"I am, but don't let this love stuff get into your head. Concentrate and protect Jupiter", Mercury said with a commanding voice and added a smile. "Don't give me that face Seth" she said as she noticed Seth frowning
"She has to be free, don't stress her too much" he said and turned to Olivia "who is buying lunch and for who?"
"Both of you won" Adam answered, "so you're buying lunch for each other"
They got into the garden, looking round to make sure no one had followed them, and no one was around the garden. Then Adam shut his eyes and whispered into the air, summoning an invisible cloak around the place but Jupiter could see it.
"It's beautiful" she smiled as she used her fingers to feel it, the others looked around as they couldn't see any difference but the same garden, but they also felt the presence of an echoing wall and the placed became a bit tight like it was surrounded by four walls.
"Where do we start?"Jupiter asked as the others sat round facing them and watching them curiously.
"I'll teach you how to create fire, we start with a small fire, "he smiled at her and took out a match box
"I created a big fire that burnt down half of the forest" she frowned.
"You did that out of anger, you can do it again. You have to learn how to create and use your magic without your emotions controlling you" Seth screamed at her and the other laughed while Jupiter nodded in understanding.
Adam handed the match box to Jupiter and gave her a match stick then he moved backwards,
"Light the match stick" he said to her and she obeyed and lit it, the fire came up and she raised it forward at him as he ordered, she watch him concentrate on the match, blocking away the noise and distractions, he was concentrating on just the match stick that had fire on it. Soon he moved his hands like he was calling the fire and soon another fire emerge from the fire on the stick like it pulled out and it moved towards him, he smiled as he used his hands to control the fire to different directions, the others gasped and Jupiter stared at what he did in amazement and then he pulled the fire to himself with an invisible force and blew it off then walked back to Jupiter with a smile.
"That was wonderful and mind blowing" Jupiter exclaimed in excitement, "but could you possibly touch the fire?"
"We don't touch, you could get burnt and hurt and can even kill, we only control it", he explained with a smile.
"Can I try?" She grinned happily.
"It might not be so easy" he replied, "but I trust you".
"It's scary though" she answered, and he grinned.
"I believe in you" he said smiling,
"Then let me do it" she screamed, and the others shouted excitedly.
She had been staring at the fire on the matches for over fifteen minutes but couldn't understand anything, she frowned slightly and tried to focus.
"Concentrate, you can do this" Adam shouted at her when he noticed she was getting tired of doing nothing, "you can't remain in this realm, take it to your world"
She shut her eyes tightly, digesting what he had said and then opened her eyes and whispered some words.
"I'm your queen, you should obey me" she whispered and with confidence and boldness she stretch her hands forward and pulled the fire gently and then she noticed it was moving but not so fast as that of Adam, she could hear her friends screaming in happiness but it only echoed as she had left her body there and was in another world which she controlled, she moved her hands faster, dragging it as it was hard and she added more energy, soon it was right before her and she blew it out, she could hear their screams which were now louder and she looked up at them.
"You did it!"Adam exclaimed in excitement and she giggled.
"How long did it take me to summon the fire closer?" She asked in a mocking tone.
"I guess thirty minutes or more, you've really tried as your first time" he said and laughed, "it took me two days and my dad got frustrated".
They all laughed at what he said as Mercury and Olivia hugged Jupiter in happiness
"I didn't win an award for goodness sake!" She exclaimed as Seth hugged her too "there are many more things I'm going to do"
"Sure, but your start was wonderful" Mercury smiled happily.
"Fine, so let's move forward" she answered before chasing them away and turned back to Adam who held a lighter in front of her, she laughed softly.
"I'll be draining the fire and gas from this lighter till it's empty" he said, and she nodded and silently prayed it would be easy for her. He handed her the lighter and she lit it. "I'll be pulling the fire out fast, so it doesn't burn your fingers"
He walked backwards and immediately he looked at the fire, he dragged the fire out of the lighter, it moved towards him like a snake, crawling forward in a zigzag way, as he pulled more fire came forth and the gas in it reducer till there was nothing left, and he blew it away. He immediately walked to her, brought out a new lighter and she moved towards where he stood earlier. She repeated what she did the first time, she shut her eyes and imagined only herself with the lighter In front of her, she straight out her hands again and summoned the fire out, then it grew long and long, she wrapped it round herself and not letting it touch her skin unlike the way Adam did, he had blew the fire when it became longer. She dragged it out faster as she could feel everything obey her will and worked easily. She smiled at herself and Drew out all the gas and immediately the lighter exploded, and she gasped and froze in shock. When she looked at Adam, she noticed he was whining in pain and the others had gathered round him, she ran towards them.
"Oh, my goodness!" She exclaimed as blood gush out of his palms which were burnt, "I'm so sorry"
"Does it hurt so much?" Mercury asked rhetorically as she tore her shirt, leaving with her with her inner wear, she ignored the glare she got from all of them and wrapped the piece around his palms as he groaned loudly.
"I am so sorry Adam "Jupiter apologized sadly "I didn't know what happened"
"I think I'll heal faster if you stop apologizing and do something about this" Adam whines as he spoke to Jupiter and her eyes widen immediately she understood what he meant. She held his palms in her hands, covering it with their other hand and she shut her eyes again.
"You don't need to close your eyes Jupiter" Adam said "also observe your environment, it could help avoid something like a burnt hand".
They all laughed slightly at the joke and they looked at Jupiter curiously and she nodded in understanding.
"Heal, mend yourself back together" she whispered and began to lose the piece of uniform, she continued saying the words till the piece was loosed. When she looked at the hand again, there were no wounds or burns on it, the blood had drier up and it left little scars on his palms, they all smiled widely.
"Thanks for healing me, my princess" he said to the already weak Jupiter and she gave him a weak smile.
"I caused the burns, so you shouldn't thank me" she answered
"Do you mind if I tell you what happened?" He asked, and she nodded affirmatively.
"Your power is too strong" Seth popped in and Adam nodded
"Your power is too strong for a little fire, you drained all the gas in a go and it exploded before you could realize it" he answered smiling
"you need something bigger, a bigger fire" Mercury smiled
"Am I dealing with only fire" Jupiter asked and Adam shook his head negatively
"We would move to water after this. They are the same thing though, you'll learn to freeze water and melt ice and even make ice balls" he explained
"We should go to the class" Olivia reminded and they all peeped at their watch and immediately ran to take their bags.
"How would you do about your uniform?" Seth asked but Mercury grinned
"I told you the royals wolves have the ability to change their dress after transformation and we can do that even if we don't transform" Mercury answered as she quickly spins round, and the uniform appeared on her and they all gasped in surprise.
"That's cool", Seth grinned as Adam then unveil the cloak and they ran back to the class.
"What if we continue the class at my house?"Adam asked, "at the tree house behind".
"Yes!" Jupiter and Olivia exclaimed, and they turned to Mercury and she grinned
"Of course, I'm coming too" she answered "but we need to reach our home and refresh ourselves. I won't let her begin another training with stress".
"That right" Jupiter added," we need to head home".
"See you both later" Mercury said to Seth and Olivia as they waved and hugged each other before walking into the class.
