Chapter 42

"You don't want me around?" She asked almost in a whisper.
"No!" Mars tried to defend himself. "I never meant it that way, but ...."
"You can go with him" Queen Alexa cut in and they all glanced at her, she held a genuine assuring smile.
"Mom, I'm sorry" Dinah bowed at her, feeling guilty for betraying for mom and choosing someone else over her mother, her only family.
"I've always wanted you to go outside this water, to make friends and explore. This is an opportunity." The mermaid Queen said to her daughter as she walked closer and held her hands. "I've been outta here a lot of times and you've been here all your life. You have found your mate and I cannot stop from going with him, I grant you freedom Dinah."
"I'm grateful mom" Dinah said in tears and ran closer, hugging the older woman tightly.
"You're brave, and I trust you're going to survive" Queen Alexa said and pulled away. She turned to Mars "I am leaving her to you, she's now your responsibility and I wouldn't want you to hurt her."
Mars nodded with a bow and Dinah walked into his arms, smiling brightly at him.
"I never thought you'll change your mind." Mars teased and she blushed slightly.
"I wasn't ready to miss you." she answered shly as she peeped at the people around who were staring back at them with smiles.
"It's time. I should trace the fairy kingdom now" Queen Laura said with a slight frown.
"We are waiting" Seth grinned eagerly.
"Jupiter said she sensed something wrong, isn't it right if some people head to the kingdom, while the others can go to the next kingdom." Adam stated and king Desmond nodded in agreement.
"I can go check things out, it's my kingdom." the wolf king answered. "You all can go, I won't deprive you of the fun you would have at the fairy kingdom."
"I'm going with you then." Queen Irine popped in without hesitation and her husband nodded at her with a smile on his face.
Queen Laura was frowning deeply in confusion, the others noticed it, she was quiet and was trying to focus more.
"Queen Laura?" Olivia called as she raised her brows in curiousity but the woman turned her slowly, her face held confusion and disbelief. "Is there a problem?"
"I can't trace the kingdom, I can't see anything. There is something wrong." Queen Laura answered.
"Could they have hidden it from other beings?" Queen Urine asked but the witch Queen shook her head negatively.
"If it's hidden, I can still find it because I was given that ability." She replied still trying to picture the fairy kingdom.
"That's strange." King Desmond patted her."maybe we should return to the wolf kingdom and have some rest."
"That's true, I can provide the maids and they would offer you a good massage." Venus pointed out.
"Yes. It must be as a result of stress and tiredness."Adam said with a weak smile. "You should rest."
Jordan walked closer and held her closely, he was supposed to protect her and be there for her ,she looked up at him, smiling as she held his hands tightly in appreciation.
"Open a portal back to the wolf kingdom" he whispered and she nodded as she quickly began to create a portal, Adam supported her as she made it larger. Dinah leaned closer to Mars, her eyes widen in surprise. She had never seen anything like this, Mars gave her a reassuring smile.
Dinah glanced at her mother one more time before stepping into the portal. She stood at the other end and blew a kiss. The portal began to close and she could see tears forming in her mother eyes as she bid her farewell and the portal disappeared. They all turned around, staring at the blank room, this was one of the visitors room, but then they could hear noises outside.
"There is something odd." Dawn said and Kenny led the way to the window as the followed, the loud sound of gasp echoed in the room. They moved out of the room without hesitation and Mars dragged Dinah along.
They arrived in front of the battle between the wolves and different creatures, which were mostly the witches and wizard. They had been so vulnerable that they left their kingdom into the hands of their subordinate and now they have been ambushed. They joined in the battle as they couldn't find Jupiter and Selina or even the vampire king in the battle field. They were so engrossed in the fight when Seth and Kenny zoom into the forest, towards the boundary where the vampires based currently and they were not surprised to see them battling with another set of vampires but still Selina and Jupiter wasn't in the forest.
"Look behind you!" Seth exclaimed at Kenny and he spin around, fast enough to grab the neck of a vampire that attacked him and broke the neck, then the other rogue vampires rushed after them.
"Ready yourself." Kenny alarmed his fighting partner and Seth nodded positively before standing side by side, their backs touching each other as they waited for the vampires to get closer.
Soon there were sounds of bones snapping into pieces, they two day walkers took their time to smash the vampires head,tearing their mouths wife and chewing out their victims neck. Since the Kenny and Seth were faster and smarter, it didn't take them time to minimize the number of vampires their villian had sent. They were left with the weak vampires that had battled alongside with them, it was obvious that most of them were dead. Kenny sent Bernard a sorrowful and apologetic glare but the man nodded in understanding.
"Gather the bodies." Bernard proclaimed and the others obeyed without delay as Seth and Kenny ran out of the forest back to the battle field and they were both surprised that the battle had become fierce and even Dawn was fighting another rogue wolf. Since the witches and wizards were dominating in the battle against the wolves, it was going to be a tough one. Their opponent seemed to be having an upper hand as most of their friends were getting weaker. Though Mercury, Dinah, Adam and Olivia were still strong enough and were battling with two witches. Queen Laura was casting spells at a quiet place and trying to weaken the witches and wizards. King Desmond and his Luna stood beside her, stopping the rogue wolves and witches from getting closer to her, they were in their wolf form, howling angrily as they smash the head of their victims and bit off their head. Venus, Mars, Dawn and Jordan weren't left out. They had more wolves around them and they didn't hold back.
Then they noticed Queen Irine fell to the ground beside king Desmond, the spells casted by the witches had weaken her and even the alpha was struggling to stand firm. As the witches began to move closer to their weak opponent. Seth and Kenny speed towards them and before the witches could cast another spell, they both spinner round them, creating a thick fog around the witches but then Adam joined them and added a hurricane. Jordan didn't hesitate to join them, making the fog spin faster that it was hard for the witches to create a spell that could free them out, since their mind weren't balanced and still.
Queen Laura moved towards them, she chanted another spell and used her hands to pull out the rogue wolves from their opponent and moved them into the fog, she took her time and pick out all the villians and sent them into the spinning fog. Soon there weren't any other opponent except two witches who stood gallantly.
The witch queen smirked at them but their expression didn't change,they began chanting a spell again but this time Queen Laura's eye changed drastically and it's gold color shone brightly, her hair blew violently in the air, then the two witches shivered backwardly, they had no idea of who she was earlier and now they realized who stood in front of them, she was royalty, she was the witch queen and she had just shown them her signature, they bowed immediately and she smiled at her victory, no one could resist her queenly signature.
"I need to find my daughter and you must lead me there" Queen Laura commanded and they both nodded simultaneously with a bow.
"We need a plan" Kenny replied "we can't just go without a plan"
"Seth?" Olivia interrupted as she called out with a deep frown as she walked closer to him. "You're a day walker."
Olivia stated the truth and he remained quiet, biting his lips. Everyone had noticed his speed, his eye color and how he joined in creating the fog. There was absolutely nothing to hide. Olivia shook her head negatively as it finally dawned on her that he wasn't human anymore. Why didn't he tell her, he hid it to himself, tears filled her eyes as she moved backwards.
"Olivia I'm sorry. I was going to tell you" Seth apologise as he moved closer and held her hands but she pulled away, he could see the pains in her eyes. Mercury turned to Kenny, her brows squeezed together. Kenny buried his head to the ground, avoiding her gaze.
"You knew about this too?" She asked pointing at Seth and immediately shook her head in disbelief. "I shouldn't even ask you that. It's obvious you made him one without our knowledge."
"We didn't want to bother you girls about it." Kenny answered almost in a whisper, still looking down.
"Can you kindly save that statement to yourself?" Mercury shouted angrily and glanced at Adam who immediately looked away. "Jupiter would so hate you when you finds out you kept a secret."
"How did it happen?" Queen Olivia questioned
