Chapter 37

She moved out of the shield created by her mother and rushed after them with different ice and fire balls. The three mermaids attacked and created balls but to their surprise she vanished before them and appeared from behind and when the turned to her they were surprised to see fast moving fire balls and before they could duck or defended their selves. It landed on their them and they became unconscious as they sink down the water.
"that was their gate guardians" queen Laura said to Jupiter as she came back to them "and I am talking because the mermaid princess had granted me that ability the last time I came; she can give you all that ability when we meet".
They swam further and they met more mermaids, the mermaids followed them behind curiously. They never expected visitors, and it was more surprising that the guardians of the gate weren't accompanying them. The mermaids followed them behind as queen Laura led the way, taking them towards the mermaid's queen palace. Before they got to the palace, they were sure the whole kingdom were behind them, following them to the palace. They got to the large gate, it was so tall and from the gold shining round it, it was obviously the mermaid's queen palace.At the mermaid's throne was a bright light shining down that they couldn't see the face of the woman but her long flowing gown and beside her they could see a young girl of Jupiter's size, she had the same dress as the mermaid queen she was staring at them with no emotion. They all stood in front of the royal throne, they could see the girls had legs instead of tails and they glanced at Queen Laura in confusion.
"she has a tail too" queen Laura whispered to them and they glanced back at the royal throne as the noticed the young girl whispering to the woman who they could not see. And when she was done the young girl walked forward, her long dress flowed behind her and they stared at her in amazement, she was exceedingly beautiful and she was covered with jewelries of this kind and the gold reflected in their eyes. She stopped in front of them, glared intensively at them and they didn't say a word either and then she focused her eyes on Jupiter who was in front beside queen Laura.
"you killed the guardians" the girl stated with an angelic voice and the boys melted slowly but at the same time was confused about how she got the information.
"I had no choice, they were going to attack" Jupiter replied without batting an eye and suddenly the girl's dress dropped to the floor and it revealed her long legs as she wore a little short and a bra, leaving her almost bare. Jupiter frowned in confusion.
"you can only get to the queen when you are done with me" the girl said angrily and Jupiter shook her head negatively
"I would not fight you" Jupiter answered and then she recalled, she could actually speak in the water, they had granted them all the ability to talk and breathe in the water, she turned to the other. "I think you can talk now"
"you kill the guardians" the girl repeated "and you can't see the queen. Who are you?"
"my name is Jupiter and that's all you have to know" Jupiter answered glaring back at the girl
"I don't care about your name" she said to Jupiter
"what's your name?" Seth shouted at the girl and smiled when he realized he could speak but she eyed him widely and he swallowed.
She looked back at Jupiter and immediately an arrow appeared in her hands and Jupiter realized she wasn't joking about the first, but she waited to see the next move. The girl threw the arrow right at her and Jupiter caught it with her hands and threw it sideways. The girl glared at her angrily and another arrow appeared and at both hands, she threw it towards Jupiter again and Jupiter created an ice shield and it collided with the ice and it fell to the ground.
"you shouldn't wait any longer" queen Laura advised Jupiter and she nodded as she created an ice sword and began walking closer to the girl, she remembered the story her mom hand told her about her fight with the mermaid queen, the mermaids are proud creatures but she wasn't going to fail like her mom. She was already upset that the girl was eager to kill her and the people behind her. The girl looked by her side and one of the mermaid guards threw a golden iron sword at her and she smirked at Jupiter. And began walking towards Jupiter who was walking behind her.
"you never said we were going to encounter all this, is this a vacation or a death sentence?" mercury asked as she was already worried about Jupiter.
"someone should help her" king Desmond said
"she will be fine, trust her. I am sure you trained her well" queen Laura smiled
she turned to see the girl's sword slammed itself at Jupiter's sword and then she swipe the blade above Jupiter's face almost immediately and Jupiter ducked with her vampire speed and threw the ice blade towards the girls belly but it collided with the iron blade which the girl had defended herself with and she staggered backward and glared at Jupiter angrily as she raced at her and Jupiter moved at the same speed with their swords ready to strike each other but they collided on it other and Jupiter's ice sword scattered into piece and she fell to the floor and the girl smiled in victory as Jupiter struggled up, but surprising the girl threw her blade and Jupiter understood what it meant. They were going to fight without weapons and Jupiter smiled as she felt it was easier.
"why not talk to the mermaid queen, do they have to go through this process?" queen irine frowned and queen Laura smiled
"I think she doesn't recognize me; it's really been a long time. If she did she would have welcomed me without delay, it's been nineteen years" queen Laura explained
"then we should explain ourselves to her" Jordan said
"it's their tradition to always go through this process and secondly I want to see what Jupiter is capable of, she has been doing just fine, very fine" queen Laura answered as she smiled proudly.
Jupiter sent a punch right into the girls face but she didn't move but instead she returned the punch and Jupiter staggered backwards in pain and nodded with a fake smile and attack, this time throwing her long legs to the face of the girl and she the girl winced in pain and grabbed Jupiter, using her knee under the belly of Jupiter and Jupiter returned the same energy, using her elbow on the girls back but she collapsed to the floor, dragging Jupiter with her and they rolled down the floor, pushing and fighting their selves and soon they were already locked up and couldn't find a way to release themselves. Jupiter held her neck tightly and broke Jupiter's knee as the both struggled and scream in pain not ready to release themselves.
"I think it's okay" Venus frowned as she hides her face away from the scene. The mermaid queen rose finally and walk forward and queen Laura moved immediately and they stopped in front of the girls.
"who are you?" the mermaid queen said as the others looked at her face like she was an angel and they were amazed as she was even more beautiful.
"I don't blame you for forgetting me, time has gone so fast and I aged quickly" queen Laura answered "old friend, Alexa the water queen"
"Laura?" the mermaid queen called and queen Laura smiled brightly as the mermaid queen examined her in disbelief. She knew of only one old friend that could call her by her name and add the water queen. It was only the witch queen and her very old friend.
"it's been really long and you look the same" queen Laura grinned
"you've grown but I can't forget this face. Why hadn't I look closely?" queen alexa asked
"because you're the queen of course" queen laura said and they laughed and the mermaid queen turned to look at the children on the floor.
"is that your daughter?" queen alexa questioned and queen lauranodded and she smiled excitedly "so much like her mother"
"little Dinah has grown so beautiful" queen laura said looking at the girl that has gotten tangled with Jupiter.
"can they at least stop fighting?" queen irine said and the mermaid queen turned to the look at her
"that's the wolf queen and her king" queen laura said and the mermaid eye widen in surprise.
"Dinah I think you would love this. Stop the fighting you children" the mermaid said hurriedly and the girl glared at each other angrily not ready to let go, the others waited patiently.
The girls tighten themselves more instead of letting go, the others stared at them curiously. Why do they already hate their selves so much? Queen irine tried to move forward to separate them but the other two queens stopped her and queen Laurathrew her a smile of assurance.
"They are going to kill their selves" Adam frowned as everyone held a worried expression.
"they want to act stubborn even after getting a command, they can remain there while the others can go have some rest, there are a lot of dishes we could prepare" the mermaid queen smiled as she looked away from the girls on the floor.
"then what are we waiting for?" queen laura asked "but wait! I need to introduce you to this great people by me"
"well, I'm glad to know the wolf king and queen" the mermaid queen said with a bow towards them and they smiled
"we were so eager to come to the mermaid world" king Desmond said and they all laughed
"you are really beautiful and you got a more daughter who is so brave" queen irine said with a smile
"they trained Jupiter, I couldn't bring her here" queen Laura said to the mermaid queen
"he came here, searching for her and killed my people" queen Alexa said with a weak smile and sadness in her eyes
"I am so sorry Alexa; I really didn't expect things to go that way" queen Laura apologized
"it's fine, it's in the past but if I have my way I would kill him with no mercy" the mermaid queen said "please tell me about this handsome and beautiful teenagers and young adults"
"I would start with the royal family. I have mercury, she's Jupiter's twin sister. Actually not from the same mother but they were delivered on the same day and she's the wolf's child. I also have Venus and mars, the wolf's older children and heir to the throne" queen Laura explained pointing to each of them as she introduced, she pointed at Seth and Adam "this were Jupiter's first friend when she went to the human world. Adam is a witch and Seth is human, they have been a great companion. And then I have with me Jordan, the father to Adam. You should remember him"
"Jordan? Is this Jordan you spoke about? Your first love?" queen Alexa asked and queen Laura nodded with a weak smile "Oh my goodness, he's really handsome. Poor thing"
"and then I have Kenny, he's a vampire and a day walker" queen Laura said and the mermaids eye widen in shock as she stared at the unconscious man.
"is he a threat?" queen Alexa asked as she studied him
"no he is not, he hates swimming so we made him unconscious" mercury answered as she quickly defended him. Queen Alexapeeped at mercury raising her brows.
"that's her boyfriend" Seth answered with a smirk and the mermaid queen smiled in understanding.
"won't he be missing out?" the queen asked curiously "I mean he would love to see all that's happening"
"that's right" mercury frowned and queen Laura turned to him and chanted a spell and immediately he sneezed loudly and his eyes widen and he looked around.
"mercury?" he called and she turned towards him with a smile "were am i?"
"we arrived at the mermaid kingdom" mercury grinned at him and his eyes widen in surprise.
"did I swim, I slumped in the water? How did you all cope with me?" he asked and looked upwards and he became speechless
"queen Laura made you unconscious and that's why you're here" Seth answered
"this place is beautiful" Kenny exclaimed "is that the mermaid queen?"
"exactly, you actually don't know the process we went through in order to get here" Adam sent him a glare. But instead in hurried to the queen and bowed before her.
"It's a privilege to meet the mermaid queen" he smiled and bowed at her slightly
"rise, you're really a young handsome fellow" the mermaid queen teased and he grinned and when he looked behind her, his eyes met two people tangled around each other and he glanced at them in confusion.
"is that Jupiter?" he asked in curiosity and disbelief and the others nodded as they turned towards the girls who hadn't released each other.
"they have been that way for more than forty minutes" mars laughed at their stubbornness
"can someone separate them?" Kenny frowned, wondering why they were fighting
"can someone tell him what resulted to that fight?" Selina asked "they had even fought with sharp blades; this is just little"
"Jupiter had killed the mermaid guardian at the gate" Venus said "and it got the little princess upset"
