Chapter 29

"I am fine, my queen" Olivia answered as she giggled, and Kenny looked around as he saw the smiling face of everyone in the room. But then he frowned.
"what about the man?" he asked suddenly, and everyone glanced at him quietly "seems no one is talking about him"
"we decided to create an army from the wolves, but we are waiting for them to decide" Jupiter explained to Kenny and Olivia about what had happened earlier.
"we can't wait for them; you think the lord Logan would just give up? He would do anything to get Jupiter and make sure he uses her against you even against her own will" Kenny said "but I have an army"
"you do? You have an army?" mercury popped in and he nodded
"I have the vampires you met at the toilet corridor" he answered
"but they can't come in the day" Seth frowned at him.
"neither can his army move in the day" Jupiter answered "he won't take the risk of creating more day walkers, he would rather have them attack at night"
"then we need your armies to guard this place at night" Olivia said to Kenny.
"we need to send some to our home, he would certainly send them there first" Adam said to them
"that's right, he would send them after us at night but instead of meeting us, they would be taken by surprise since they weren't expecting your vampires and then that would be an equal fight" queen Laura said to him.
"how do you communicate with them?" queen irine asked curiously.
"I could make use of my phone, I have more vampire friends and I could call them all over" Kenny answered with a smile.
"so, this is the plan" king Desmond said "you send some of your vampires to their homes and order the strong ones over here"
"they can't just move in here; we have an invisible boundary" Venus frowned as she reminded them,
"I think we should keep some werewolves outside the boundary" mars said and began to explain "we would easily direct them to the forest where they would meet our guards at the boundary, our guards would mind link us about their arrival then Jupiter or queen Laura would open the boundary for them"
"nice idea, I couldn't think of a solution" Kenny smiled "I think I should reach out to them sooner"
"I have some old friends too, I visited them some years back before I birthed Jupiter" queen Laura said as they all stared at her to continue speaking "I know the mermaids and fairy queen"
Everyone gasps in surprise and their eyes widen. They found it hard to believe that other mystical and historical creatures still existed, and queen Laura had met them.
"you met them?" Seth asked walking closer to her and she nodded
"I saved a little fairy that got lost in our coven, she had a broken leg, she must have been wandering about and got lost in our coven and luckily enough she was the fairy queen daughter" queen Laura explained "I healed her leg and sent her home but she returned the next day with her mother the queen, we became close friend and visited each other but I haven't heard from them anymore but it's not too hard to begin a search"
"I am totally speechless!" Jupiter exclaimed in between laughter as she heard the wonderful revelation
"and the mermaid queen?" Venus asked curiously, and queen Laura laughed at the way they all stared at her like she was a ghost.
"well my experience with the mermaid queen was different. I had just been crowned the new witch queen and I went on a trip or let me say vacation. I had a lot of fun and even went swimming, for the love of swimming, I dived deeper into the water and that's when I found her kingdom, I felt I penetrated her border which a normal human can't. she took me as an enemy and a threat to her kingdom, we fought so hard but of course she won, this was her kingdom, I was already taking in too much water and was getting dizzy, I was losing consciousness as she tied and locked me up and did something, I still don't really know what it was but I could breathe well again like I was using an oxygen. She interrogated me specially with her best lawyers and bodyguards, she was eager to know how I got into this part of the water, I explained myself to her, telling her that I was the witch queen and I gave her the reasons for coming over here and how I could easily penetrate her border and then she released me, saying that she respected the fat that I was a queen like her, we were of the same size but she was a bit older and she had a baby. When I saw that baby mermaid, I was eager to have mine. My whole vacation was spent in the water with my new friend and she visited me too since the mermaids could easily transform to human and walk on land, she became my best friend that's the end of this story"
They all stared at her with different questions in their minds and she smiled at them.
"why didn't you take Jupiter to the mermaid queen or the fairy when you wanted to hide her from her father?" queen Irine asked.
"I needed to take her to a place he won't find her, I knew he would go to the mermaid and fairy kingdom, so I felt this was the only place, but I had no idea who had the boundary I opened. But I felt she would be safer here" queen Laura answered.
"do they still exist? I mean your friends" king Desmond asked.
"old friends never die, I guess. I would search for them and we would go visit them by tomorrow or next" she replied.
"I really need to see their land" Seth grinned excitedly as the others smiled at each other, this was going to be a journey of a life time.
"we would all visit them together, we should rest while Kenny reach out to his friends" queen Laura said, and they began to move out.
"Jupiter, Olivia and mercury could take you all round the kingdom" king Desmond said to the boy's
"and I can take Laura with me" queen irine beamed at them and quickly dragged them along with her and they laughed loudly, as Jordan and the king walked away together.
"I'll take you to the wolf academy, where the younger wolves are trained" mercury smiled as the others walked behind her, letting her lead them.
"I barely visited the academy because I had no wolf" Jupiter rolled her eyes,
"but you now have incredible abilities" Kenny said to her and she smiled at him.
"I still can't believe your mother knows a lot about the mermaids and fairies" Seth said walking arm in arm with Olivia who was a bit weak,
"I find it hard to believe too, but we would see them for ourselves soon" Adam smiled as they arrived at a tall building with a molded erected wolf image in front of it. It was beautifully built, they walked into the large building as they could see some children in different sections. They saw some ladies training the children.
"this are different group according to the age" Jupiter explained to them "and they ladies have been perfectly trained to teach the children"
"like Olivia. Though Olivia was special, and her family is meant to protect the royal's mercury added to the boys who listened attentively.
"but my father the wolf king trained us personal, all his children were trained by him" Jupiter said with a smile and it was obvious she was proud of the adoptive father.
"so, what exactly are they taught?" Kenny asked in curiosity,
"how to control their wolves, how to transform from human to wolves without their emotions triggering the transformation. They are taught on how to transform back to humans and how to sense when there is danger" Olivia replied, and Kenny nodded in understanding.
As they walked through different sections they came across a child, the child squatted and buried the face to the palm, it was obvious the child was sobbing. They moved closer, Jupiter and mercury squatted beside the child and they child looked up with a red and pale face.
"hey! Why are you crying girly?" mercury asked the child who immediately bowed when the child noticed they were royals.
"my princess" the child bow at each of them and they smiled back as they loved the child's smartness, the child was wise enough to notice they were royals even when they dressed like a common wolf.
"why is a beautiful girl crying alone?" Jupiter asked the child as everyone stared curiously.
"I am a boy" the child said in a whisper and they all frowned,and Olivia began laughing as they all stared at him in disbelief.
"you're not a girl?" Seth asked in confused and the boy got up immediately and they examined his body but all they could see was a beautifully created girl with a long hair the curled perfectly to the shoulder and a well perfect feminine face with a voice of a girl. The felt the boy was so unsure of what he was saying not until he spoke again.
"my name is dawn and I got a natural lengthy hair from my father and I look so much like my parents, I haven't seen them physically, just their pictures and that's because they are dead" he answered with a wonderful voice.
"my dad has a long hair too and as brown as dawn's own" Olivia said feeling drawn to the boy "I am sorry about your parents"
"I don't know them, they died few days after I was born" the boy answered and immediately he bent closer to them and whispered "he died in a war"
"who do you leave with?" Olivia asked as she seemed so interested in the child,
"my father's sister and her husband, they have been my parents" he answered,
"I like this boy" Olivia said to them with a slight frown "I feel drawn to him"
"he's a cute smart boy, so it's understanding if you like him" Seth replied with a smile, but she shook her head negatively,
"I want to know more about him, he looks familiar, but I can't point out anything" she answered,
"how old are you?" Kenny popped in,
"I am five years old" he answered almost immediately, and Olivia blinked twice, pushing away the thoughts she had, it couldn't be true.
"do you have older siblings?" Seth inquired, and he shook his head,
"I don't think so, my uncle never talked about it" he answered without hesitation,
"so why were you crying?" Adam stared at her closely,
"my friends were laughing that my parents or guidance never visited" he replied with a sad tone.
"parents visit the academy every Friday to get reports about their wards performance" Jupiter popped in explaining to the guys, so they could understand the child's reason.
"they have never visited, and they act too busy" he continued "and today other parents came by to see their children, they promised to come today, but they aren't here"
"what if we stand in as your family for today?" Olivia asked and then the boy became quiet, tears filled his eyes and then his eyes widen in surprise.
"all of you?" he asked, and they nodded with a smile and they felt happy that Olivia brought the opinion "and you'll come every Friday?"
"yes, we will" Jupiter answered smiling "if I can't come, the others will, and I'll talk to my parents to visit you too"
More tears filled his eyes as Olivia led them into his section to meet his trainer, the other children turned to them curiously and immediately bowed when they noticed they royals.
"my princess" the trainer said with a bow as the girls smiled at her and signaled her to straighten up.
"we are here to represent dawn's family, so can we have his reports" Olivia asked, and the teachers eye widen in surprise.
"we were so occupied, and we couldn't visit" mercury smiled at her and the trainer looked at the child
"is that true?" she asked, and the boy nodded positively.
"are you doubting your princess?" Adam questioned, and she quickly knelt.
"I am sorry, my princess" she apologized on her knees.
"can we go through his reports?" Kenny asked, and she stood up hurriedly and they notice she didn't need to search for the book, it was separated from the others, she came forward with it.
"I was always eager to see dawn's parent. He's a very smart and outstanding child" she said as she handed the booklet to Olivia.
"so, he is the best in his section?" Adam asked as he peeped into the booklet in Olivia's hand and the teacher nodded.
"his first transformation was at age three?" Seth questioned,
"he transformed without any emotions to trigger his wolf" the teacher answered,
"can I see your wolf?" Jupiter said to the boy and he nodded with a smile and immediately took two steps backwards and transformed into a golden hairy wolf, he was glowing and they all looked amazed, but the trainer was surprised.
"he did it!" she exclaimed with happiness in her voice as she looked at the wolf again.
"what did he do?" Seth asked, wondering why the woman looked even more surprised than they did.
"after his age three, he never shifted again. He had stubbornly refused to change and there's something else" she said to them and they raised.
"what else?" Olivia asked still amazed by the boy's wolf.
"I think he has two forms" she answered, and they became more shocked and confused.
"that's very rare, only one out of a hundred wolves have that ability" mercury replied in doubt.
