Chapter 13

"I told you all that I kept seeing a silver haired woman, holding a baby at the boundary. When I visited Adams father, he could easily smell that I was a witch".
"You can't be a witch, how is that possible?" Venus asked.
"I'm a witch because my mom is a witch and when I described her to Adams father, he made me know she was a witch. That was why she could open the boundary and keep me there, that was why I was able to break the boundary, revive Venus and close the boundary again" she explained.
"And your nightmares?" Mercury asked,
"I met her there again, I met my mom", she replied.
"You've been talking about your mother, what about your father?" Mars asked.
"He's the villain in the story, can you all sit please?" She asked and they all hurried to sit, eager to hear all the story.
"Is he a witch too?" Queen Irine asked.
"No" Jupiter replied and bit her lower lip,
"A human?" Mercury who sat beside her asked and Jupiter went quiet, Olivia coughed to clear her throat and they all turned to her.
"Her father is a vampire king", Olivia answered and everywhere became silent and still,
"Oh Jupiter", Queen Irine was already sobbing and Jupiter bowed slightly,
"My life has been a mess from the day I was born" she whispered,
"It's not a mess, you're not only a wolf princess but you're a hybrid with the blood of a witch queen and a vampire king. Do you know how powerful you are?" Mercury smiled at her, trying to assure her.
"That's why you had those abilities, the speed, sharp ears, sharp eyes and other things, those were your vampire and witch blood reacting" Venus said,
"You're the only hybrid of your kind" Mars said.
"But why did your mother dump you at the boundary, she knew we were wolves" kind Desmond said,
"She didn't dump me", Jupiter replied and went ahead to tell them about what happened and what Adams father told her about the vampire king.
"What are their names?" Mercury asked,
"I got to know my mom was Queen Laura, I don't know about my father".
They all nodded slowly, all having different thoughts and questions running through their mind.
"You know you could come back to the kingdom if you can't cope with this place", king Desmond said as his expression was filled with sadness and she walked closer to him.
"I wish I could", she answered, "I'm seeing my mom soon and I can't just leave"
"I'm going to be with her" Olivia added.
"Thanks for being with her all along" Queen Irine smiled and Olivia nodded.
"And you two", Mars pointed at Adams and Seth, "I don't want you messing around with my sister".
"Mostly the wizard"Venus added "he's too attractive and looks like a college Playboy".
Everyone in the room busted into bubbles of laughter.
"I'm leaving my daughter to you two" king Desmond smiled slightly "I can trust you both and even Olivia to keep her very safe. I could kill anyone if anything happens to my daughter".
"We would do our best" Adam bowed, and Seth joined in respect.
"Says the sexy wizard" Mercury smirked and gave them a deadly glare and it was obvious she didn't trust them.
"Aren't you supposed to be in school?" Venus asked curiously.
"Venus?" Mars called, "where you even conscious here? Jupiter and Olivia didn't go to school because Jupiter was trapped in her dreams and the boys came to see her".
"They can't get to school now, it's late and my baby Jupiter needs some rest" queen Irine smiled as she hugged Jupiter.
"I missed you all", she whispered as she tried to control her emotions, pushing back the tears that threaten to fall.
"We missed you too baby", queen Irine answered with a genuine smile
"We should return to the kingdom. It's actually under the control of no one" Mars informed.
"Yes, we should ", king Desmond answered and turned to the children and his wife. They slowly got up and began hugging each other and pouring out their hearts.
"I would come back to the kingdom when I can", Jupiter said as she took then outside with Olivia, Adam and Seth trailing behind her.
"You could come with your friends", king Desmond said, and their eyes widen in surprise,
"Really?" "Seriously!""oh my gosh", they all exclaimed simultaneously, and he nodded with a smile before moving to hug her.
"Don't forget we love you", he said as he wiped the tears on her face,
"I love you too father, I will always love you specially", she replied and then moved to queen Irine,
"I'm really happy to see you again. Do well to take care of yourself" queen Irine said and kissed her cheeks as Venus came closer.
"This is what you go through when you have a big family", Venus teased as Mars laughed beside her
"You'll get to greet and welcome everyone", he laughed.
"I can't get tired of my family, you all mean a lot to me", she smiled hugging them both and kissing then individually.
Then she turned away from them in search of one last person, her forever twin sister, but Mercury stood beside Olivia and the boys.
"Mercury?"king Desmond called,
"I'm not leaving, I'm staying" she replied immediately "I'm not leaving her side again, not even for a second. I'm sure she needs me around, don't you?" She asked Jupiter as she winked at her and Jupiter opened her mouth to respond but no words came out, she nodded slowly in a bit of confusion as Mercury began stating her reasons.
"She's my twin, even if not biological, we grew up together, so we should be together, except one of us goes off to marry and also I don't trust these two guys, mostly the wizard and I won't let him mess around with her"she said hurriedly as everyone stared at her silently.
"Mercury!" Queen Irine called "Jupiter didn't asked you to stay".
"She did, didn't you?" She asked Jupiter, winking at her again.
"Yes...sure...yea... of course...I did" Jupiter shuttered as she looked at Mercury who smiled at her
"You see?" Mercury grinned "just send someone to bring my necessary things, I'll be fine, we would be fine. You trained us perfectly well dad", she gave him a thumb up and blew a kiss at him before walking into the house and leaving everyone with no choice.
"She's really going to be a pain in the ass", Seth whispered to Adam and Olivia.
"Welcome to trouble" Olivia laughed as the royal car drive away and Jupiter kept waving till they were out of sight.
"How do you cope with her?" Adam asked Jupiter as she turned to then and she smiled happily,
"I can bet that she the best sister in the world", Jupiter answered as they moved to the house.
"She's authoritative and demanding" Adam complained,
"She's commanding, dominating and..."
"And what Mr Seth?" The door open to reveal Mercury who overheard them complain
"And wonderful" Seth blinked simultaneously,
"Get used to her guys" Olivia laughed before walking into the house and Jupiter grinned at them, then walked passed Mercury inside.
They stood by the door silently, not knowing how to pass by Mercury who stood beside the door.
"You ought to be a gentle lady" Adam frowned,
"Because you're a cute princess" Seth added.
"And boys don't like aggressive girls" Adam continued smiling widely now, but Mercury only glared at them.
"A lot of boys could easily get attracted to you"
"You're charming and beautiful and lovely, you got great eyes that any man could fall for, you could draw the attention of every human with your smile" Adam closed his eyes as he searched through his mind for words of praises and pour out everything he could think of.
"Silent!"Mercury ordered and Adam stopped immediately, he opened his eyes to meet Seth staring at him and not blinking "you're trying to win my heart or what?"
"No that's not ..."
"You just did", she smiled finally, " you both won my heart a bit", she rolled her eyes before walking inside.
"Where did you get all those lines from?" Seth asked,
"I've been doing a lot of reading about romantic words and i got them from the deepest part of my heart" he grinned before moving into the house and Seth followed.
Far away from the house, the clear, bright and sunny sky suddenly changed as it became dark and stormy, the weather changed, and thunder were heard, the lightening ware seen as they roared and bolted in the sky. In a twinkle of an eye a heavy rain began pouring as a very bright lightening appeared in the sky, a woman dropped on the floor, she was drained by the rain, she struggled up from the floor to her feet and then a smile appeared on her face, she had arrived, she pulled her hair to her face and noticed that they are still silver, she smiled in relief and search for the silver blade and found it beside her. She got up and looked at herself, she was naked.
"Clothes ", she said, and suddenly clothes appeared on her and she smiled widely and started walking down the street in search of the person that brought her back to existence, her daughter. She would finally see her daughter again after 19 years. Laura couldn't hide her joy as she smiled brightly, and the rain ceased suddenly, and the sun appeared brighter than earlier, drying up all the trace of rain at that place.
She chanted some spells that could lead her to places were her daughter had ever been. Different locations appeared in her mind, she pointed at a one, a house. Even when the forest, school and two houses appeared, she chooses that house. She began moving to search for the milky building with two floors. It wasn't hard to transport herself their but there was a lot of people around her and she moved into a narrow street, shut her eyes and crossed her hands on her shoulder, then said few words and immediately she vanished into a bright light, the old beggar who sat there was astonished, he struggle to his feet and rushed away from the place.
She appeared in front of the house she had wanted to go, she walked to the door, raising her hand to knock but suddenly the door opened, the two people looked at in each other in surprise and confused.
"Laura?" He called as a smiled suddenly appeared on his face.
"Jordan" she giggled " how can't I possibly recognize you?"
"It's been nineteen years, old lover" he teased, and she laughed loudly as her angelic voice rang through his ears. " You ought to remember your old lover even if I'm older than Methuselah",
"You've not changed" she smiled as tears slipped down her face and he moved closer, wiping the tears with his palms then pulled her into a tight hug.
"Come in and rest. We have a lot to talk about, Laura"
