Chapter 31

"you can't possibly be a boy. Don't be funny" queen Laura laughed as they two queens glared at each other,
"he's not lying mom" Jupiter said referring to the two queens,
"he got his father's lengthy hair and his father was your one-time royal guard" Olivia said with a slight bow.
"and he's father is your father" the queen replied in realization, she had wisely figured it out without further explanation and she looked up to Olivia added "he is your brother."
Olivia nodded in response and queen irine got up immediately, she was almost in tears, she walked closer and dropped a knee in front of him and the boy bowed again in respect to the queen
"call you father" she said to mercury who immediately mind linked her father and in addition called her siblings.
Soon the king arrived at the queen's chamber and walked towards his wife with a frown and the little child bowed when he got closer and he glared at the child in confusion and his eyes went back to his wife.
"what is happening?" the alpha asked no one in particular and then pointed at the boy "who is she?"
"this is a boy" the Luna answered this time and spoke to the child "raise your head"
The boy slowly looked up at the king and the king smiled at the queen with slight confusion,
"did my personal guard have another child?" he asking looking at Olivia "did your parents have a child?
"I found out about the child today" Olivia answered, and the king held a shocking expression, he couldn't believe his assumption was right.
"how?' he said in whisper and Olivia quickly narrated the experience with Dawn from the wolf academy to their visitation at his home.
"they never told me she had delivered" the king frowned at the revelation "I had no idea"
"what is your name?" queen Laura asked, speaking after a long while of studying everything that was going on
"my name is Dawn" he replied almost in a whisper,
"do you realize that you took after your father? That you got your fathers hair and your mothers' eye?" queen irine asked and the boy nodded positively.
"get the uncle arrested, he is a betrayer and a hypocrite" king Desmond said to mars who had been watching the event from the door with Venus. He quickly moved out and sent some guards to move to Dawn's house.
"Venus!" queen irine called "make sure he's given the best room he deserves; I need your maids to arrange that now"
"you just got lucky" queen Laura smiled at the boy and tucked the strand of hair behind his ears.
"thank you so much, my king and queen" he bowed in tears and queen irine brought him closer and hugged him.
"I wish your parents could see how wonderful you have become" she said to him and he bit his lips "take him to his room"
They all walked out the queen's chamber, leaving the king and the two queens who stared at each other silently,
Jupiter, Olivia and mercury occupied a room and the boys took another room, but Olivia had insisted of being with her brother, she brought Dawn along with her, she hadn't stop there, she began to train him in the small open space inside the room.
At the other side of the room, the boys watch and listened to Kenny who was calling several numbers and from what he said to the persons at the other end, they knew he was calling his vampire friends. And they realized that the vampires obeyed his commands without hesitation.
"why do they agree to what you say without questioning?" Seth asked him before he could dial another, and he looked up at Seth with a smile.
"they are rogue vampires and they have no king, they easily take a day walker as a king. And since they dislike the current vampire king, they take me as their rogue king and obey me" Kenny answered.
"how many vampires are you calling?" Adam questioned,
"I don't know, as many as I can and from different part of the earth. Some rogue vampires have a leader, so I easily call their leader and they obey his command. While the other vampires that choose to stay alone, I must call them personally and they help by calling other vampire friends" he replied, and the boys nodded in understanding.
"so, are they on their way?" Seth enquired, and Kenny shook his head negatively,
"Don't forget they dislike light, they would be here when it's dark" Kenny answered and looked at Seth "well I thought about something"
"what's that? Adam and Seth asked simultaneously, and Kenny grinned at them and they stared at each other in confusion.
"it's going to be a secret between us" Kenny said to them and they nodded in agreement,
"just spill it!" Seth said almost in a whisper and then Kenny smiling expression changed.
"I want to make you one of us" Kenny said, and boys fell silent and busted into laughter "I am serious"
And they became quiet again, looking into his face, trying to pick out the prank and trace the joke but Kenny wasn't smiling anymore, and their eyes widen in surprise.
"you want to make him a day walker?" Kenny answered, and the boys stared at him speechlessly "we have no time, you make your decision and it happens now, you should be prepared for war"
"say yes!" Adam said to Seth immediately and Seth glanced at him, raising a brow and Adam nodded
"I've always wanted this" Seth said to Kenny with a great smile.
"it's a secret, now come forward" Kenny smiled back at him and he walked closer courageously "it could be painful, and you'll be tasty for blood, you take my blood and you'll be fine"
Seth nodded and bit his lips; his chest was pumping hard and he could feel his sweat dropping down his face as Adam watched curiously. Kenny pulled Seth closer, almost like a hug, Seth could feel he was being calm and gentle to avoid hurting him and before he could realize it, Kenny had slammed his fangs right into his neck, he didn't know how it feel, it was a double feeling of pleasure and pain.
Kenny wasn't stopping anytime soon and soon Seth began to feel dizzy, he was getting drained and immediately he felt his fangs popped out.
"Kenny!" Adam called out to him "Kenny stop!"
He walked towards them, but Kenny pushed him away with great force and continued to suck out Seth's blood. Adam chanted a spell and threw it towards them and they separated with face, landing to the floor at opposite directions.
Kenny got up and hurried towards the weak Seth, he straight out his hands to Seth's mouth and Seth grabbed the hand with the strength left in him and bite into his flesh without hesitation, sucking out the blood from Kenny's wrist.
"I'm sorry I lost control and took so much of his blood" Kenny apologized to Adam
"what about the mark on his neck?" Adam asked curiously,
"it would heal before the next day and would leave only a scar" Kenny answered and immediately Seth let go of his hands breathing heavily
"are you okay?" Kenny asked Seth and Adam gave him a weak smile,
"I've never been better" he grinned weakly.
The boys had laid Seth to rest on the bed, Adam sat beside him, throwing numerous questions at him, of how he felt during the transformation and Seth explained the feelings he had experienced, giving him the most suitable answer, Kenny at the other side continued with his calls.
"I'm actually fine, I don't know why you are forcing me to stay on the bed" Seth frowned slightly at Adam and Adam rolled his eyes.
"I won't let you get up and stress yourself, and you might end up sucking everyone's blood" Adam answered, and Seth sent him an angry glare.
"I'm actually not thirsty for blood" Seth fired back and struggled upward, in a twinkle of an eye, he zoomed off and stopped at the other end of the room and began laughing
"already experimenting your abilities?" Adam laughed as Seth grinned at him
"I'm no longer a human, I am now a supernatural creature" he smiled excitedly "I wonder what they would look like when the realize I'm not human"
"who are they?" Adam asked curiously,
"the girls of course and mostly Olivia" Seth answered with a frown
"what if they still wanted you as a human? What if they don't like the new you?" Adam questioned.
"Why should they be unhappy?" Seth asked "my happiness matters a lot"
"maybe they would have wanted to know before you changed or maybe be present during the process" Adam explained,
"what if they don't trust us when they realize the truth" Seth frowned in realization.
"the deed is already done" Kenny said as he placed down the phone "we just need to keep it to ourselves for now and apologize when they find out"
The boys stared at each other quietly, they knew the girls would not like the fact that they kept it from them, but they had no choice.
Immediately there was a knock on the door, the boys became alert, arranging and composing their selves. Adam opened the door and the girls stood there with dawn staring into the room. They could notice the boy's uneasiness.
"is there a problem?" Jupiter raised her brows at them,
"a problem?" Adam asked and turned to Seth smiling "there's absolutely no problem"
"then why are you all acting suspiciously?" Olivia questioned curiously, and Seth scratch the back of his hair, looking back at Kenny.
"you need something?" Kenny popped in with a smile and they shook their head negatively
"we came to inform you that some vampires are at the boundary" mercury answered still lowering her eyes at the boys, wondering why they were acting weird.
"oh, really. Have they been let into the kingdom?" Kenny asked
"not yet" Jupiter replied "we need you to see them first, just a conformation"
"then we shouldn't keep them waiting" Seth said "let's go meet them"
They walked out of the room, heading through the corridor down to the hall. Mercury and Jupiter led them towards the forest, they began by walking slowly and soon they were hopping and moved to running. The girls could cope with the speed well, but the boys had to delay because of Seth
"he can actually run faster" Adam frowned at the other boys
"we can't let them find out about his speed, they would figure out" Kenny replied in a whisper, let's just play along.
Then Kenny ran faster, leaving the boys and stopped beside the girls and they looked at him.
"we can't match up with you because of Seth" Kenny said to them and turned to face Jupiter "why not open portal and save us the stress"
"I thought we deserved some exercise" she smiled as they stopped abruptly, waiting for Adam and Seth to catch up. When they got closer, she began creating a portal.
"sorry for the stress, it's actually so easy to run to the boundary as a wolf" mercury apologized to Seth as they got close but then Olivia could observe that he wasn't breathing heavily, he was smiling, and she pushed away the thought as they stepped into the portal that took them to the other side of the boundary. They appeared in front of five men with the wolf guards around, the all wondered if this was all the army he could get.
"Bernard" Kenny called the man in front of the other vampire and it was obvious he was their leader "are this all you men?"
"step forward!" Bernard commanded and suddenly the could see people creeping out of the dark from different locations. They others were surprised that they hadn't noticed their presence earlier and even the guards.
"how could we not sense their presence?" Jupiter asked in confusion and she could see Bernard smiling proudly at her.
"they have been professionally trained. They are called the king of the dark; no creature can stand the vampire in the dark" Kenny explained to the others,
"they are really much" mercury exclaimed, and Olivia nodded in agreement,
"this isn't everyone though, this is just an army from the east" Bernard answered, and their eyes widen in surprise. "we still have hundreds of rogues who stay alone from the others"
"still at the east?" Olivia asked, both Bernard and Kenny nodded affirmatively,
"the vampires are almost a million on earth, but no one knows they existed" Bernard said,
