Chapter 16

"Spill it out, girls" Seth teased, and they found themselves laughing at each other and Olivia was already wiping a tear away.
"I love you all so much and meeting you has been the best time of my life" Seth said smiling and turned to Olivia, "I've got something for Olivia, I'm falling in love with her".
Olivia turned towards him, looking into his eyes but was frightened by his genuine look, the others anticipated about what Olivia would do next, they were eager to see a new love evolve around the two but instead Olivia turned away, facing the window and ignoring them. Seth sighed with a frown and became quiet. Mercury look at him in sympathy, everyone was suddenly quiet, and Mercury leaned closer, still looking at him curiously.
"Don't give me that look", he said to her,
"Are you okay?" She asked with a worried face not looking away from him,
"I'm fine but I'll be grateful if you stop looking at me that way", he answered and buried his head to avoid her glare. And that did the magic, she looked away, the drive to the school was silent. The car moved into the car park and the other students were heading for the assembly hall.
The car door opened from all sides and the four students including the new student stepped out of the car, attracting all the eyes of the people towards them. They matched from the side of the car to the front and walked to the assembly.
"Am I not supposed to register first?"Mercury asked and they nodded, Jupiter then walked with her to the principal's office, they didn't need to knock on the door, the door was opened immediately by Mr. Fredrick, he had smelled the scent of the royal wolf and didn't hesitate to let them in.
"My princess"he bowed at each of them and then rise with a smile,
"Good morning Mr. Fredrick "Jupiter greeted, returning the smile, "princess Mercury is here for Registration, she's joining me",
"Oh!"he exclaimed "do well to have a sit please".
"Don't bother, just do the registration thing and I'll leave please" Mercury replied politely and he nodded in agreement.
"You can go, my princess. I'll do the necessary" he answered in respect and the girls smiled before walking out of the office back to the assembly to meet the other people.
"Are you guys done?" Adam asked, and Jupiter nodded " so fast?"
"Princesses don't wait", Mercury smirked, and he immediately understood, the principal has no choice than to obey them.
"Did you tell him about the garden?"Seth asked quietly.
"Oh!"the girls exclaimed looking at each other " we would meet him when we are going back to the class"
"Why not mind link with him?" Olivia asked, and she shook her head negatively.
"I don't want to give him an easy access to my mind" she answered.
"But you could block your mind from him when you're done" Jupiter said.
"I don't like stress please, let's go tell him ourselves" she rolled her eyes and the others laughed slightly before concentrating and then the principal stepped in for a speech, after that the bell was rang and all the students moved out of the hall. The five friends walked to the principal's office, the door opened immediately, and they walked in.
"We would be needing the school garden for some training" Jupiter began as she moved straight to the point.
"During break and it's going to be everyday", Mercury added and then man stared at them in confusion before nodding positively.
"That's good" Jupiter smiled, and they walked out of the office.
"That wasn't so hard", Olivia laughed as she walked beside them "he couldn't even question you"
"That's the power of the wolf and witch princess" Adam teased before they moved into the class and Olivia with Seth headed quietly to their class.
Adam stopped in front of the class and they all became quiet, expecting an announcement since they had seen a new student.
"We have new student who is resuming today and she's Jupiter's sister", he Introduced Mercury who waved at them.
"Do well to call me Mercury", she smiled at then and the students whispered among themselves.
"I'll be pairing her with Chloe" he said since she was the female school prefect, but Chloe wasn't in class so he led Mercury to Chloe's desk and she sat there quietly, but she was a bit upset, she was two desk away from Jupiter's desk and she wasn't comfortable at that position, she waited for her desk mate to arrive so they could talk about changing the position of the desk.
Chloe made her way into the class, walking with two other girls and chewing her gum loudly, she walked past the front desk, hissing and rolling her eyes at Jupiter and Adam, Mercury stared in confusion and then remembered their discussion about the girl that hated Jupiter. This could be the girl.
But then the girl walked towards her desk and that made Mercury more confused. The girl looked at her in disgust and Mercury tried to keep cool and get to understand what was happening.
"Who's this bitch on my desk?" She turned to ask the class loudly and Mercury realized the girl in front of her was Chloe, her desk mate. She shook her head negatively and ignored the girl but just then the girl slammed her hands on the desk and Mercury got up immediately in anger and Chloe moved backward in fear and shock as she wasn't expecting that reaction from a new student. Mercury gave her a death Glare that send shiver down her spine, that was enough warning Chloe could ever get because Mercury was ready to put her down
"you must know, I'm Mercury. Jupiters sister and I'm a new student. I'm hotter tempered than my sister, my hands move into action faster than my mouth. Don't push me girl, don't. You'll certainly regret it", she shouted, and Chloe shivered backward as Mercury sat down. Chloe turned to Adam who grinned at her.
She walked to Adams desk and the two-desk mate folded their hands and waited for her to speak.
"I don't want to share a desk with her " Chloe pleaded.
"You have no choice, it's the rule" Adam answered "the new students shares a desk with the school prefects and I got myself tied up with Jupiter, so go deal with your problems".
"I can't" she shouted "that girl is weird and she's a bully".
"Don't talk about my sister in that manner or I'll take of your teeth, by the way you made her that way", Jupiter mocked, "you're the bully but you can't intimidate her.
"Please I can't cope with her" she pleaded, "pair her with one of the prefects please",
"I can't sit with her either", Mercury got up and walked to them, "I don't like that position"
The three friends exchanged looks and then Adam nodded positively.
"I'm doing this because of Mercury", he pointed at Chloe and immediately paired Mercury with a boy beside them. "He's name is Raymond and he's also a perfect".
"I prefer being called Ray" her new partner said as she sat beside him and she smiled at him.
"I'm Mercury" she said and turned to look at Chloe who walked back to her desk.
"I actually didn't want to sit there, I wanted sitting close to you", she winked at Jupiter who laughed at her sister's word " now I'm happy"
"You should have told me that earlier " Adam smiled ", I won't have made you sit with that crazy girl"
"You did that intentionally", Jupiter said to him and he grinned in approval and Mercury gave him an angry glare.
"I just wanted to upset Chloe and I knew you won't tolerate her craziness, so I set you there" Adam laughed and Jupiter joined him,
"Your plan worked successfully" Mercury fumed in anger,
"Okay, calm down" he apologized " I'm sorry".
"That's better" she rolled her eyes and turned to Ray who had been staring and listening to their conversations " don't teachers come in here?".
"Not always, this is mostly a revision class" Ray answered "during the year we would be writing our exams"
Mercury nodded in understanding and immediately joined the students who rose up to greet the female teacher that stepped into the class, then they sat down as she ordered. The teacher walked towards Jupiter's desk.
"Why haven't you continued your punishment?"Miss Sylvia asked Adam and Jupiter,
"Because it was lifted, we aren't doing it no more" Jupiter answered.
"And lifted by who?" she asked, and they looked at each other, thinking of an answer,
"It was lifted by the principal"Adam answered and smiled at Jupiter,
"Now which of you is lying?" Miss Sylvia asked," is the lie from your friends in the other class or from you too?"
"What did Olivia and Seth tell you?"Jupiter asked trying to hold back her laughter,
"That you all decided not to do it" the woman answered, and Jupiter and Adam couldn't help but laugh so loud and Mercury joined her.
"Which one would you love to believe?"Adam asked and the woman expression changed into an angry one.
"Just choose any of the lies that sooth you well", Jupiter laughed, and the woman raised her hands towards Jupiters face to drop a slap, but it was held back, when she looked at her arm, she saw three hands on it. Jupiter, Adam and another girl, they all held her tightly and she could feel the pains in her bones like they were going to crush.
"Let go of my hands", she shouted and they all did except Mercury who held her even more tightly.
"Are you deaf?" Miss Sylvia shouted, " you will be expelled"
"You think I'm scared of those your dry threats?" Mercury asked angrily, "how dare you try to hit my twin?"
"Your twin? She's your sister?" She asked, and Mercury raised her brows with a mocking face.
"Don't you ever repeat this mistake" Mercury warned, "you'll hate me".
She pushed the arm away and the woman staggered backward in disbelief, there was a hint of fear in her eyes, but she composed herself, arranged her collar as usual and walked out of the class, all the students began laughing.
"Mercury?" Jupiter called in between laughter "that was crazy".
"She deserves it" Mercury rolled her eyes and sat down, Ray was speechless as he stared at her.
"Sorry you had to see that" she grinned at him, but he didn't reply as he couldn't take his eyes off her
"Mercury is a badass" Adam teased.
"Not as Jupiter" Mercury answered "you'll be surprised when you see the badass in her"
"It's hidden" Jupiter grinned at the dumbfounded Adam.
The English teacher walked out of the class after an hour of revision, Olivia looked up at Seth, but he wasn't looking her way as he tried to avoid her as possible as he could. She bit her lips as he got up and walked to the end of the class where some bunch of noisy girls sat, he sat on one of the desks and the girls gathered round him since it was rare to have one of the cutest prefects around them. Olivia tried to look away but she found herself looking behind her over and over again, she cursed herself inwardly and took out her phone to distract herself while Seth let the girls entertain him as he tried to push away the thoughts of Olivia from his mind, he was so into her that he couldn't think straight, he had to leave her side for a while.
She frowned when she heard him crack some jokes and the girls laughed loudly, she looked behind and noticed they all had their hands on him as he entertained them with jokes. Then when he turned towards her, she quickly looked away. Her wolf was howling inwardly, she was jealous of the way those girls surrounded him and was angry that he let them touch him, she didn't want to feel this way, but she found herself missing him and wanting him around, she had never felt this way and she was worried, she wished Jupiter was here to give her some advice. But then she knew she was in love with him, the butterflies in her belly, the electric feeling when their hands come in contact and the crazy night thoughts about him. She wondered what Jupiter would do if she was in this situation, Jupiter would do anything to have him back on her desk.
She got up immediately as a thought came into her mind, she walked to the back of the class where Seth and the girls were, she stopped right in front of him, sat on his leg as one of the girl sat on the other leg, then she brought his face closer and kissed him on the lips, the other girls gasped and then she got up, push the girl away from his leg and dragged him up, Seth was surprised and confused about her new reaction as his mind thought of what she was up to and he still couldn't believe she kissed him.
She dragged him by his hands to their desk and sat down with him and immediately there were tears in her eyes as she tried to control her emotions.
"Don't you dare hurt me again" she slapped him on the chest before pulling him into another kiss, she felt so alive and she didn't want to stop but Seth pulled away, looking straight into her teary eyes and dried them with his palms.
"I'm sorry"he whispered even when he didn't know what he apologized for, she nodded and then turned away from him. "You're not going to talk about what just happened"
"Can't you see it?" She asked, "can't you see that I love you?"
"You do? you love me?" Seth asked in surprise and excitement.
"I don't know how, but you've won my heart and you've been on my mind. I didn't want to admit it to myself" she answered.
"Why did you change your mind?" He asked curiously.
"You left me for these girls, you were laughing with them and they were all around you, touching your body", she complained with a frown.
"And you were jealous?" He asked, and she bit her lips, rolling her eyes and he laughed.
"Now I'm funny, I'm a clown"
"No, I'm laughing because you have a cute jealous face" he grinned, and she laughed "And you are jealous of those girls when I've told you twice that I loved you. Didn't you believe me?"
"I did. I was scared Seth" she answered.
"Scared of what?"
"Scared that you love me, and I've never loved anyone, and I don't know what it feels like or how it looks. Scared that you might leave because I'm not perfect and i'm only Jupiter's body guard and nothing more" she replied as she stared away from his face.
He turned her face towards himself then gave her a smile, she tried to look away but be brought her face back and she had no choice but to look at him.
